Disappointing.. buying new instead.
Shipping was great. Phone came 2 days earlier than expected. Unfortunately the Google pixel 3 I received was defective. The screen had a very dark pink tint to it which was highly noticable, as well as the word google burnt into the screen. The charger sent with the phone did not work. I am sending back immediately. Very disappointed. Will update how return process goes.

The phone worked well but stopped suddenly with no damage to it. The seller has now told me it’s not under warranty. It is literally 1 week out.

shortly after warranty expired, phone expired.
constantly boot loops now. runs incredibly hot, even after factory reset (no apps installed). extremely displeased, i guess i should have spent the extra money on a new one. ill never trust “amazon renewed” ever again. (my husband does IT work for a living, he knows electronics. theres nothing we can do to make this run anymore, so it was money wasted)

Reliable phone in good condition for its price
Like many people, I rely a lot on customer reviews before I purchase things online. Seeing all the negative reviews on these “refurbished” or “renewed” phones I was a little nervous to try it out, but was reassured to that it was covered under Amazon’s return policy. So I took the plunge and after about a month of using my renewed Google Pixel 3 phone I can say I am pretty pleased with how it’s working.A little background on me: I switched to the Pixel 3 from the iPhone X. I’ve always wanted to try out an android and was aware of the great reviews the Pixel 3 had gotten. My sister was looking to upgrade her phone, so I gave her mine and started looking into alternatives for myself (One plus, Samsung, etc.). Honestly, the deciding factor in getting this was the price (hard to beat $300).Instead of sharing my thoughts on the Pixel 3 (since there’s already a plethora of reviews out on the internet), I thought I’d share specifically on my experience buying/using the phone from this seller. In my opinion, there are no major issues that should deter someone from buying this phone, but there are some imperfections that I’ll mention here.Shipping: Arrived on time (I ordered it on Sunday and it arrived on Wednesday) in a very generic box with an unmarked wall charger and USB-C cord. The phone screen was covered by a thick, soft plastic screen protector (it was very ugly and bubbly, but I left it on until I could replace it with a real screen protector). There’s no manual or quick-start guide, but I guess that’s unnecessary if you’re familiar with how to use smart phones in general.Carrier: As an unlocked phone, I had no issue with switching my AT&T SIM to this phone.Appearance: There weren’t any obvious defects at first, but when I was applying a more permanent screen protector I noticed a few small scratches towards the edges of the screen. They don’t affect the functionality at all, and weren’t even noticeable until I was looking really closely, but they are there. I would estimate they are about 0.5 and 1cm long respectively. I attached a few photos of the larger scratch (and distinguished it from dust I accidentally trapped under the screen protector).Screen/interface: I haven’t had any weird screen glitches or discoloration so far as some other reviewers have mentioned.I feel like the haptics aren’t as smooth as the iPhone, but I’m not sure if that’s a renewed phone issue as much of a Pixel thing. In the beginning it felt either too sensitive or not sensitive enough, but it’s gotten better the more I use it (I also played around with the settings).Fingerprint scanner: This is actually the first phone I’ve had that has a fingerprint scanner. It works will for the most part, but is not as responsive as I’d like it. Ideally it would unlock my phone little faster and work for more angles of my finger, but this may just be how fingerprint scanners are…as more of a general comment on the phone, I like the placement of the fingerprint scanner when I’m holding it, but if it’s lying on a surface face up or in my car mount it’s completely inaccessible and therefore annoyingly inconvenient. Times like those, I actually miss face ID on my old iPhone (never thought I’d say that).Speakers: The sound is much more tinny than I was expecting. I haven’t compared it to other Pixel 3s, but I assume the sound quality. Listening to my iPhone and Pixel phone side by side, it is apparent that the sound is not as loud or rich which is a little disappointing considering the dual front-facing speakers. However, I doubt this is really noticeable in daily use.Battery: I’m generally a light phone user, so the battery lasts throughout most days on a single charge (though I always have it in my wireless charging car mount when I’m driving). It seems like the battery drains a bit faster than my iPhone, but again it doesn’t really matter since it gets me through the day.So there is my opinion on the *renewed* Google Pixel 3 (I have thoughts on what its like switching from apple to android OS and build, but that’s for anther time). I want to reiterate that the things I mentioned here are by no means dealbreakers. In fact, I think they’re all very minimal for a $300 refurbished phone. I found that Amazon’s description of their Renewed products was very accurate (https://www.amazon.in/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=202111000). What I found most comforting is that you can return the phone if you don’t like it or if it does turn out to be defective.Hopefully this review reassures some people out there as they’re shopping for a cellphone. Don’t let the all the negative reviews scare you away! I recommend buying a renewed phone (no matter what kind of phone it is) as it’s a great deal and more reliable than getting something off craigslist or FB marketplace IMO. To be honest, I don’t think spending an extra $500+ for a new Pixel 3 would be worth it considering how well my renewed one works.

Not factory-unlocked, but Verizon-unlocked, with a locked bootloader.
This is a review for the one sold by the seller “Prime Mobility”. I gave it 3 stars, because the title says that it is a factory-unlocked version and the phone I received was NOT a factory-unlocked phone; It was a Verizon-unlocked phone. It was a phone that was originally locked to Verizon when it came out of the “factory”, and then, after being used by a user, it was unlocked by Verizon so that SIM from other carriers can be used. Factory-unlocked means being unlocked when it first came out of the “factory”.If you do not care about ROM’s and do not know what “adb” is, then it does not matter. But Verizon-unlocked phones do not allow unlocking the bootloader, so you cannot install any custom ROM or even the developer preview version of Android from Google on it. Since Google’s software support for Pixel 3 is scheduled to end on October 2021, this means that this Verizon-unlocked version will not have any way to patch any security issues starting next year, making it insecure and outdated to use.I had not known this before, but after I received this phone, I searched the web a lot and found a way to identify Verizon-unlocked Pixel 3. It is said that Verizon-unlocked Pixel 3’s have an IMEI starting with “35”. The phone I received also had an IMEI starting with “35”, so I think this information is credible. If you want to buy a Pixel 3 on which you can install custom ROM’s, contact the seller and ask him if the IMEI of the phone starts with “35”. Mine came with a white box, not the original Pixel 3 box, but it had a IMEI sticker on the box, so it probably was easy for the seller to check the IMEI.Now, other than the locked-bootloader issue, the phone I received was in a good condition. The only visual defect was some slight ring-shaped mark around the fingerprint sensor (about 3mm outside from the fingerprint ring), and I have not found any noticeable defects or anomalies. Inside of the white box were the phone itself, a (probably new) generic cheap-looking charger, and a (probably new) USB-C cable, and that was all.The phone’s performance is much better than I had expected. Reviews say that Pixel 3’s performance is similar to that of Pixel 5, which is the latest but uses a mid-range processor. The speakers’ sound quality feels good for phone speakers. My main problem with Pixel 3 is its thin side bezels. I often accidentally click things on the side. For example, when I use the mobile YouTube website, the bottom of the screen are filled with big thumbnails for related videos, and I keep accidentally touch the side of the related videos making YouTube navigate out of the video I was watching. My second problem with Pixel 3 is its glass body. It is slippery and I worry about shattering the glass body by dropping it. I do not use phone cases, because they often have sharp edges and making it difficult to press buttons. It would have been a lot better if the body was just plastic, like Pixel 3a. Why the hell do people want “premium” glass body and call plastics cheap, then use a plastic case anyway to avoid shattering the body?

An amazing surprise, like buying a new phone
A late review, I didn’t expect a device looking almost new. A simple box with a non official charger but the device looks very clean and a plastic over the screen. I will describe things about this product adn you can’t go wrong with it.SCREEN- I didn’t expect finding an OLED panel, ambient display works with it and the colors looks punchy. It has some wear marks (like little scratches) but are too small and you won’t notice, you have to force your vision so, 10/10BUILD- just perfect, it has a tiny hit on the top (you can find it on my photos), but nothing serious 9.7/10PORTS- usb c, squeeze features, microphone, speakers…all works just perfect 10/10CAMERAS-perfect. like a pixel brand new.BATTERY- i would say 87% or 90%, its holding great and even support all the instalation process without chargeOverall i’m very happy with this purchase, i would definitely recommend this seller. Now using a Pixel 3 with 4gb of ram, 64 gb storage on 2022. Just go ahead, build quality, sound, looks, cameras are great, for less of $150. Also the size, one hand use guarantee so, right now there isn’t many options outhere, just go for it.

Dirty Product
I find the refurbished phone market is a great idea. For those that don’t need the newest and hottest models, you can get a refurbished device for half the cost of a new one. The example that we got had grime in the speaker slots. The casing around the charge port was chipped and there was dirt inside the port. I cleaned it and my wife is happy, but this service needs to focus on presenting a clean,”like new” product. The depreciation of phones make reselling refurbished devices a lucrative venture so more time could be invested in the presentation.TL;DR: Happy with purchase. Device is functioning properly. There could have been more time spent on cleaning and detailing the product.

EXCELENTE CALIDAD PRECIO

Updated review – issues with camera
I’ve had this refurbished Pixel 3 for over a week now. Most things work fine with little complaint. The rear camera absolutely will not focus, making the camera nearly impossible to use. I’ve tried clearing the cache, restarting the phone, etc etc. Very frustrated with this aspect of the phone but not sure if it’s more of an issue across all Pixel 3s or because of the refurbished status. Since Google likely won’t replace phones not purchased directly through their retailers, makes this phone a bit of a gamble.

Apps would not load.
I am sad to report, I purchased this phone as a back up when I was travelling out of the country from Jan. I did not need to use it until my iPhone was destroyed. I transferred the sim card, and the phone would not function. The apps would not download, or connect. I took it to may phone people that could not get it to work. I thought it may have been incompatible with the sim car. I am now back in the states, got a Pixel 6 and I still cannot transfer anything from the three. It has truly been a hassle The hassle turned into a nightmare when I cannot reach google tech support.

Broken Bottom Speaker
I was so excited when this phone finally arrived and I was very happy with it at first. However, when I failed to be woken up by alarms I had set, I was pretty confused. I did some googling and tried to mess with settings and it seems that a broken bottom speaker is fairly common in pixels that have been opened up for any reason. Overall, I am still satisfied with the phone and I have no encountered any other problems with it. I just find it unfortunate that I received a phone that had a broken speaker when it arrived even though it took me a few days to realize it.

DO NOT BUY THIS
This phone basically had to be plugged in to function. It would go from 100 to 60 in less than ten minutes of light use and then die, and it would have to be plugged in to turn back on. This process would repeat until about thirty minutes later, it would be at 0%.I read that this was an issue with the Pixel 3 series but didn’t think they’d be selling several year old defective phones for this price so I got one for myself. Tremendous regret followed, as I NEED a phone for work. I had to constantly be by my charger or an outlet just to take calls until I could afford a new phone so that I could return this.My guess is that they have a massive stockpile of pixel 3 series as a result of this software/hardware issue and more than likely you will get one with the same problem if you buy this phone. I would spend at most $30 on this phone, it’s basically a landline you can play games on since you’ve got to be plugged in.I’ll happily give the seller a good rating once the return processes, but holy cow does this phone absolutely blow chunks.

Better than new but not truly unlocked
This phone was exactly like new and i love it! So it is released to accept sim cards from other carriers to get their service but it is not truly unlocked just released to do this. I am transferring my phone carrier from Metropcs to Google Fi and it will not work without getting a Google Fi sim card and as a Google Pixel 3 it should have automatically accepted Google Fi. It does not. So, you must purchase a small sim card for whichever carrier you choose to use. My phones carrier that released it is Verizon.

Great but not perfect and OEM not unlocked.
GPS has been a little buggy with Google maps. Battery life isn’t great. Camera and everything works well and looks nice.An issue I’m running into now though is that my OEM isn’t unlocked in my settings, which everything I’m reading is saying Pixel 3s should not be like that, they should all come OEM unlocked. So I’m wondering how that can be resolved. Hopefully the seller can get me some info on that.Besides that stuff it’s been pretty good for a refurb.

Poor Battery Life, Decent Camera, Lightweight OS
I purchased a Renewed by Amazon Pixel 3 and received a device with a defective battery that does not hold a charge when in use, and requires constant charging upkeep (100% time-on-charger.) Per need I just had to roll with it and get the most use of the device that I could, but found it necessary to upgrade to another phone. Choosing a refurbished device was a costly error.I will miss the simplicity of Google’s take on the Android operating system. I found it user friendly and largely free of bloatwares that weigh down competitors’ devices.

Worth the potential gamble
Was worried about this, having read some bad things. But I think it’s probably some gamble or something for the price, not everyone getting a good one but I did and had no issues putting in my AT&T SIM or anything else. No scratches or anything. Good battery life. Looks and feels like new. I’ve had it for a week though so guess we’ll see if it holds up. Will update if anything changes.

Returned
The phone appears to be in very good surface condition, no scratches or marks. However, when plugged in the phone screen was glitchy and repeatedly turned on when powered off. The phone also became very hot to touch when on. I requested a return of the device and was quickly approved, which was great. Concerned with the actual screenings of these refurbished phones…this was a pretty obvious malfunction that I don’t think should have been sent out.
