Reliably makes very clear ice.
This ice machine produces crystal clear ice cubes — well not perfect cubes as each has a dimple on one side — but they are crystal clear. Once started, the machine produces one sheet of 24 cubes every 10-13 minutes. After 4 or 5 sheets, the machine shuts off until the basket is emptied. Without a bottle, it holds about 1 gallon of water and will make ice for several hours. I have used it with a water bottle on top and that works as described. The sheets of cubes must be broken up once they are in the basket for serving. The ice is damp so will clump together if transferred to a bag in a freezer. Not an issue if transferred to an ice bucket or served from the machine.I have used this for ice at several large gatherings or parties. I start a few hours ahead of time to have ice available at the beginning. The machine reliable and continually makes ice as long as it has water. I have been pleased so far (4 parties). To clean there is a plastic plug in the bottom. That drains the water. The plug is a bit hard to remove. The inside needs to be dried after draining and before storing. The stainless-steel outside gets prints and smudges. Need a stainless-steel cleaner for that.

So far, so good!
My husband and I were very wary about buying this ice maker because it is inexpensive. But after watching YouTube videos and reading reviews, we decided to take a chance on it. After it arrived, we waited about a week to unbox it and set it up because we were still skeptical. Finally, we did, and, to our surprise, it is wonderfully easy to use and produces quality ice. We are very pleased. We just hope it continues to operate as well and as smoothly as it does now.

FREIDA, MY ICE MAKER
I need ice. I live in a home where they don’t make ice, so I bought an ice maker. 1st one I bought made those cubes that look like bullets, which are useless and melt super fast. Don’t waste your money on those machines. Next, I bought the Euhomy ice maker, and I love it. A little noisy, but it’s making ice, I don’t think any machine can make ice and be quiet. Makes nice solid cubes; 3 different sizes, and FAST. You can have some ice in under 15 minutes. My 1st machine stopped working after 9 months, and Euhomy gave me a full refund, so a bought a 2nd one; same machine; Frieda 2. It self cleans, although you still have to do a little cleaning. It’s a good machine. My friend bought same one as mine and loves it.

Don’t have to buy ice!
Talk about very efficient little n machine. Noise level is non existent, make ice extremely fast, easy to navigate. Only would of loved if it came with refillable bottle you can turn upside down on it. Instructions show this option but doesn’t tell you what size to use. Very easy to clean. Good value over all

Love this ice maker
Would have gave 5 star but it’s hard to find a bottle that fits so they lose a star for not selling a bottle as an add on or something but besides that this ice maker does exactly what I bought it to do, make freaking ice and clear ice on top of that.Sure it comes out in a block and you break it up with the scoop or whatever you want to use so if you are lazy and like to complain like Karen then this is not the ice maker for you. You need one of those bullet ice makers that gives you cloudy ice consistently lol. If you want good clear great tasting ice, because you used great tasting water don’t use tap water and expect miracle, that doesn’t melt fast because it freaking awesome and awesomeness sticks around lol.I bought this for making ice to use to bubble wash and it’s gonna be perfect

Not crazy about it.
Let me be on point with this review. Does it make ice? Yes. Is it decently quiet? Yes. Does it make a lot of ice? Sure. Here’s my beef with this ice maker though. It comes out as a whole sheet of cubes that then need to be broken up into individual cubes. It’s like an added chore when you want ice. Now you have to smash everything apart to get individual cubes. All in all, it makes ice and cools off my beverages. Probably not the worst machine out there but also not the best.

Great Ice Machine
I had a portable ice machine that had recently died (another brand) and was looking for another but with more output. This one did just that!In all of the reviews I often saw how impressed people were with the output and after having this unit for 4 months now I can confirm those claims are legit. I recommend this unit to family/friends already, that’s how good it is. Lots of ice made QUICK, to me it’s best feature. The only thing is there’s a plastic scoop that comes with it that works great as just a “scoop”. But when new ice is made and it dumps into the bucket it’s in the form of sheets, so you’ll have to break it up.I highly recommend getting an ice pick cause the plastic scoop isn’t nearly sturdy enough to do it. That’s the only downside I’ve found (if you want to call it that) but I really do like this unit.

Shaky start but all is well now
Well I really loved this ice machine at first. We received it 7/29/23. I’ve had ice machines before and learned to only use distilled water to keep it clean and running properly. A couple weeks ago it starting getting very loud during the ice making process. I contacted the company and after answering their questions and sending pics, they then wanted a video of it which I provided. Now they want me to take off the back and clean the fan and water pump! Really on a brand new machine under warranty! We’re not talking about something we have been running for a long time and it’s out of warranty here. We don’t even use this machine daily…my advice don’t buy it. It’s obviously a problem and not worth the aggravation.*** Update ***We did as they asked and took the back off looking around inside. It did not need any cleaning as suggested. It seems like it’s the water pump that’s making the noise. We put it back together and it’s just as noisy as ever. Pretty much unusable at this point due to the obnoxious noise it makes. I contacted them 2 days ago about the results with no response so I’m guessing their warranty on their products mean nothing.**** Update ****The company did honor their warranty and I received a new ice maker today. Hoping for better luck with this one because I really do like it!*** Update ***Received my replacement very quickly and so far it’s working as it should with no noise. I’m reserving that 5th star to be sure it lasts. As long as it stays quiet it is a very nice icemaker.

Very Nice
I did a lot of looking for a countertop Ice Maker and finally decided upon this one. I like the fact that it was cubes of ice and not bullets. You do have to chop them up when they release into the basket but that isnt a big deal. Takes about 12 minutes for each batch. But once you get it full and use it, it keeps up nicely and have not had any issues with it. Very good machine.

Great value great ice
I have owned this item for a few months now and have been pleasantly surprised with its functionality. This ice make is a sleek looking device that produces clear cubed ice when utilized with distilled or purified water. I do not run this device 24/7 however I instead turn it on as needed and utilize the timer function to have it auto turn off. For my purposes this is perfect.I did have an instance where the device started making loud noises when making ice. After working with the Euhomy support team I ran it through a cleaning cycle with lemon juice then drained and dried and the noise went away. While this was a simple issue the support team was extremely helpful and willing to assist through the whole process.I can say I am quite happy with this product and the team behind it!

It has a really cool waterfall effect when it fills!
I love this thing! I live in a roommate situation and, unfortunately, he is NOT a sanitary human! Having him put his unwashed hands on the ice in our freezer… Just EWWWW!! Now my happy lil icemaker sits in my room efficiently cranking out ice for my sodas… It’s easy to use & small enough to hang out on my desk. I must say tho, the drain could be less awkwardly placed?

This thing is a beast!
For a compact ice maker I was expecting some ice for the day. It takes 13 minutes or less for the first cycle then the second cycle I had clearly a big bag of ice that you would buy at the grocery store by midday. I’m incredibly happy I do not have to go to the grocery store and buy ice. Thank you so much for such a great product.

Perfect Ice Maker
I’ve been using for a month now and have had no issues. Easy to get up and running and simple to clean. The drain plug on the bottom works great, I just get a little bucket to catch the water. You can adjust the time limit of each ice cycle, mine works good at 15 minutes, good solid ice. The ice does tend to stay in 1-3 large pieces and you might have to break it up a bit to separate the individual cubes. I picked up some Ice bags and just fill them up and keep them in the freezer! I use filtered water and the ice is crystal clear.

I Love This Ice Maker
Euhomy Ice Maker Machine:I purchased this because my in-fridge icemaker has never worked. We would buy bags of ice from wherever we could as sometimes the gas station or even WM would be out. Not to mention the difference in the water used at each of those places. Sometimes it can br pretty bad if there’s been a lot of rain and the treatment plant has changed their “mix” to combat the river being churrned.I got tired of it. We bought a 5 stage filter and we bought a ~Euhomy Ice Maker Machine. Very simple to use. Fill it and forget it while it does it’s thing. Remove the ice to a tubby and place in the freezer. This is Not a Cooler/Freezer. It will not keep your ice frozen like a cooler/freezer.I have a family of 3 and I use the Euhomy Ice Maker Machine once a week or more if the moms come to visit. The design is great, it fits perfectly on the drink bar (think Italian sodas, teas, and coffee) and it was purchased after we constructed the bar. It was like reverse telepathy or something! Smooth thinking, Euhomy!!Icemaker is fairly quiet considering the two 120mm fans in both sides. I feel those who think it’s too loud don’t run a gaming rig. Cuz I can’t hear it over my PC. That’s totally a plus.I’ve also not noticed an added heat issue and for me in Arkansas and its currently 92 degrees outside, any significant added heat source is noticeable. Some have had an issue with buying a bottle that will fit on top. I had an old generic round 3L spring water bottle gathering dust. I don’t use the insert for the bottle because the spring water bottle is a soft plastic and it just kind of sinks into the hole on top.The one thing i don’t care for, that I didn’t know would be a thing- there’s an indent in the back of the cube. More often than not when i pour my water in my cup, the water will catch that indent and go shooting out of my cup. I understand this is simply physics and not in anyway Euhomy’s fault, reflected in no points/stars being docked, I thought it might be nice to warn anyone who buys one of these dream machines.I really love my Euhomy Ice Maker Machine and hope everyone who buys one will too.It really will pay for itself by the end of the summer.

Makes a bunch of ice FAST. Noisy!
Well packaged and arrived without damage. After reading the well written manual and following the setup directions, plugged it in and let it start making ice. This unit makes a lot of ice fast. Note- the ice falls in connected cubes and will need to broken into smaller pieces for use. After throwing out the first few loads just to flush the system, it started making ice rapidly. The ice was very clear using water from our 5-gallon filtered water. It’s great for parties who places that need a lot of ice. Definitely overkill for a small household. On the downside, the unit is noisy and can be heard running in the room, especially in a quiet house. We pull it out for gathering, and for that use, does the job well.

Makes ice quickly but I don’t like the square formation it makes, had better luck with the circular formation tht has a hole in the middle, main thing though is that I have been using it for about 3 months now and the ice making tray is rusting out, I contacted the manufacturer and they told me they can’t help me because I bought it from Amazon and not them, that left me scratching my head but whatever, it’s supposed to be nickel coated but from what I see there is no nickel content on this thing, my buddy is an inspector, he is supposed to shoot it with his PMI gun, that will tell the tale, for now I just quenched it woth olive oil hoping to seal the pores off and it seemed to stop the rust formation for now, if it starts again I guess I’ll be throwing it away and going to a real company to buy an ice machineUpdate**Turns out I am dealing with a real company. They expedited a replacement ice maker to my door step and gave me a couple tips as far as the cleaning of the machine. I never had issue with this thing being a beast and spitting out ice so fast I had to buy actual ice bags and store in the deep freeze. I’m at the point now where I have to turn it off because I have no more room to keep ice. Hopefully their tips will keep this machine from rusting as well. Very professional company to do business with. Just a misunderstanding on my initial email to them. Overall very happy with this whole situation

Cranks out the Ice
I’ve had this ice maker for a few weeks and am pleasantly surprised. I’ve had numerous counter top ice makers and have found each has its own major flaw. So far, I can find no flaws in this unit. It cranks out the ice! It makes quality clear ice and operates quietly. While I expect this, this type of Ice maker makes cubed ice but it comes out in blocks and must be broken apart. I don’t mind as the Ice is great quality. It recycles melted Ice so no need to constantly refill the unit. So far, it has exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it at this time.

Ice maker
It works. And it works great. My ice maker in my fridge went out so we been using the ice trays. I still use the trays for day to day stuff. But I use this machine to make large batches and put the ice in zip lock bags and store the bags in the freezer where the ice would normally be. I probably make large batches of ice with this machine twice a month

Lot’s of great ice. Excellent design. Good value.
This ice “cube” maker cost a lot less than my previous household ice maker of little hollow ice cups and has a much easier clean and use design. Its drain is in the bottom well under the ice basket. It drains straight down to the bottom of the ice maker near the front, so it’s easy to drain the well by sliding the maker so the front edge hangs beyond the edge of the counter allowing the water to flow into a hand held cup. (My last ice maker drained out the side of the maker, slowing flow and making capture of the draining water difficult.) I like the more clear ice that is formed by the moving water flowing over the cooling system and the approximately cube shaped ice pieces it creates. Since I’ve set the maker to create thick cubes, they usually come out in one big chunk with break lines molded in under as seam layer holding all the little cubes together. I place each chunk of ice in a plastic bag for storage. When I want ice, I get a bag with the chunk from the freezer, and I slam the bag onto the flat counter. The chunk breaks into about 20 little “cubes.” Usually, a few of the 20 little cubes stick together forming a few double cubes. Breaking them this way also forms a variety of little ice chips in the bag from the thick seams I mentioned above, which is fine for me, as they melt away in the cocktail shaker. This ice maker creates ice that looks a lot like the upscale makers in luxury homes or the heavy duty makers I’ve seen in numerous motels, and does it for a modest price.

Best value by far
Update: Much to my dismay, after almost a year of continuous use and still being happy with this ice maker I discovered that the nickel plating on the chiller grid where the ice forms is beginning to flake away. Obviously this is not good for anyone to ingest, as well as having a detrimental effect on the ability of the machine to make ice at all. I have only ever used mild dish soap and nickel safe ice machine cleaner on my machine. I have however also occasionally used bottle brushes to clean out the nooks and crannies in the machine. I suggest anyone else using/cleaning this machine regularly to be extra careful around the chiller grid. This review is for the version that makes cubes, not the “bullet” ice. There are tips for cleaning the machine farther down in the review. After about a month of continuous use and one cleaning, so far this is the best countertop ice maker I’ve come across for the money. The ice is very nearly crystal clear, of consistent size and takes longer to melt than “bullet” or “nugget” ice. It works fantastically for everything from smoothies to elegant cocktails. The display on the front is quite nice, and being able to adjust the ice-making cycle time is very handy. It is not without a couple of drawbacks however. If you’ve any experience in a café or restaurant, you likely have encountered this type of ice maker before: Water cascades down a grid of chilled squares and ice is formed in a sheet over top. The sheet is supposed to break apart into individual cubes when the ice making cycle has completed and the ice drops. In this small machine the ice doesn’t have far to fall, so the cubes are often left in the intact sheet. There isn’t much you can do about it except to reduce the cycle time, but that can result in smaller cubes with deep pockets in them. If you want closer to a full cube, the best solution is to smack the back of the sheet (the flattest side) sharply with the back of a spoon. This will typically shatter the ice connecting the individual cubes. Use care not to cause damage to the chiller grid the ice forms on.I do not use the reservoir adapter for larger water bottles, so I can’t speak to how well it works (or doesn’t). I do find the 3 liter internal capacity to be plenty sufficient, requiring less frequent refilling than previous countertop ice makers I’ve had.As for noise, I don’t find it to be any more noisy than any other ice maker. That is to say it does make some noise during the ice-making cycle, but it is similar to a mini fridge for example. When it comes to cleaning, it took a couple tries to figure out how to get the entire machine cleaned. The “self clean” cycle is only so useful. It runs water/cleaning solution from the basin under the ice basket over the chiller grid. The large reservoir in the back only gets used if/when the water level in the front basin is too low (detected by a float under the ice basket). This means that if you just toss a measure of cleaning solution into the back reservoir and run the “self clean,” none of that cleaner will ever get to the front of the machine unless you drain it. Fortunately there is a small drain plug under the front right corner for just this task. If you just leave the drain open however, the entire reservoir will simply drain out and it will never run over the chiller grid. The best method for cleaning I’ve found is to start by draining the machine completely. Then add only a small amount of cleaning solution into the rear reservoir (perhaps two cups/16 oz of liquid total, water + cleaner, no more) and hand clean the surfaces with a clean, soft sponge, cloth or bottle brush (do not use anything abrasive as the plastic will be easily scratched, providing places for bacteria to grow). Plug the machine in and run the self clean cycle: it will take the cleaning solution from the rear reservoir into the front basin and it over the chiller grid. Once the self clean is finished, drain the entire machine again. Thoroughly rinse the chiller grid and front basin with fresh water (I use the spray attachment on my sink faucet for this. A spray bottle will work as well). With the drain open, fill the rear reservoir completely with fresh water and allow it to drain out completely in order to rinse any residual cleaner from the reservoir and internal tubing. The spray bar at the top can be carefully lifted out of its brackets without disconnecting the tubing to wipe under and around the area and replaced. Then you are done. It’s pretty involved, but dramatically easier and more effective than any of the several “bullet ice” type ice machines I’ve ever owned. Those are quite literally impossible to clean fully unless you partially disassemble them.Unless you absolutely must have “bullet” ice, this machine is far superior to those types in nearly every way. It is absolutely worth the slightly higher price tag.

The best ice machine I have found!
I ordered this ice maker because it was suppose to hold a 3 gallon bottle of water. My friend received her unit a couple of weeks ahead of me and we could not put a three gallon bottle on it. I had ordered my unit but hadn’t received it yet so I contacted customer service about the advertising of “up to a 3 gallon bottle” and the Primo, American standard & Culligan bottles I had would not fit on the unit. Euhomy contacted me within a day and stated a bottle from Walmart, with a 48mm lip would fit. The bottle was only 1 gallon and I bought the unit to use in my camping fifth wheel and at the time was unhappy. Of course Euhomy customer service advised I could send it back . I am so glad I kept this unit! First off, the water well holds enough water for 3 to 4 full buckets of ice, which is enough to fill up a 7 Lb bag of ice. I have the unit set to the largest cube available and the ice is clear and tasty. Easy to empty the excess water when done using and has a self cleaning cycle available. The only noise it makes is when the ice drops, otherwise it’s pretty quiet, I wholeheartedly recommend this unit, I don’t think you will find a better one out there.

Great for bigger families
We LOVE our Euhomy counter top ice maker. This one is twice as big as our last Euhomy counter top ice maker (which we wore out!). It makes 45 lbs of ice a day! We love the option to select different thickness of ice and love how long the cubes last vs the bullet ice. Having a bigger water tank (3.2L) means I am not constantly having to refill it. I like having the self-cleaning option. I toss a little vinegar in once a week or two, set to clean, empty, and I’m done. We do use filter water from our Zero Water but it still needs a little wash every now and then. MUCH easier to clean than our last one. We did have an issue with the float and after working with Euhomy customer and determining that it couldn’t be fixed, they refunded my money so I could get a new one! Even though we got it through Amazon and the return date had passed, Euhomy (Gella specifically) dealt with everything quickly and professionally. I love the Euhomy products and most especially, the customer service.

SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE SAVES THE DAY!!!
My original review is below. I had some issues with how this machine was operating. I just want to state that I cannot remember having such excellent customer service for an online purchase. The company reached out to me to replace the machine I had and am so very glad I took them up on their offer. Now I can have the perfect crystal clear ice cube for my gatherings. After shopping for other machines, this one has another great thing going for it … as there are NO moving parts, which means it should last a very, very long time. THANKS, EUHOMY!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~previous review:I had a previous ice maker that lasted six years. This machine had some great qualities going for it, but I had to return it.Pros:It’s quiet. The ice cubes (after separated … more on that later) are square and clear; this makes for a perfect aesthetic if you are serving iced cocktails or beverages at a party. The bullet-shaped cubes are white, so that’s a big difference if you care about looks. The water tank is big, and you would be hard-pressed (or impossible) to find a countertop model that also accommodates using a 3-gallon water bottle for a continuous flow. It’s self-cleaning.You can adjust the “thickness” of the ice and its consistency.Cons:The heat generated by the fan gets REALLY warm. I mean, warm enough that if you put cheese out next to it, the cheese would probably melt. I am using this in an RV, so the ambient temperature it created was just too much for the smaller space. If I was using this in my home, it would not be as big of an issue. The bottom line is that the ambient temperature helped to melt the ice created and prevented the machine from making ice as quickly as advertised. The ice comes out in one big rectangle. So, before it’s suitable for serving it needs to be broken up into individual cubes.

So far, so good!
So far, this has been a great investment! Only time will tell how long it lasts—a year or years, according to some buyers.Regardless, we love it…even though it’s not designed to store ice long-term. Once the tray is full we immediately store it in our freezer’s ice maker tray. It makes wonderful cubed ice (setting size 3 is optimal) and it’s so fast! We use a pitcher of water to fill the reservoir, rather than, using a water bottle.

The icemaker worked great for the first two months, but then suddenly it stopped making ice. It still pumps the water over the cube tray, but it won’t freeze anymore. I was putting only filtered water into it and I only ran it one cycle every night.(one set of ice cubes)

Excellent buy
This was a 40th bday gift for my son. As per directions, it sat unplugged & upright for 24 hrs before being used. The viewing window displays a quiet waterfall used in the ice making process. This feature created a fun conversation piece with party guests. Ice is made quickly and the quality of the cubes is very satisfactory. A reliable source for ice and its light weight makes it easily portable to move from room to room

It will keep up.
It is solid with no rattles or sounds at all. The exhaust air is warm and the machine is not being pushed very hard. It was built to last. The small basket fills quick and auto shutoff has worked every time. Just being around the house produced 20 lb at the end of the 1st day. Day 2 I discovered that refrigerated water freezes fast and I can slam out trays faster than advertised. Now I understand why the machine has an adjustable timer. This is my 1st ice machine and I only bought it because I suddenly need 60 lbs of ice and it was gonna cost $24. Buying this machine was my protest. I need it to produce 60 lbs of ice 5 times to pay for itself. $121 from amazon warehouse seems a great price for this machine.

I bought this particular ice maker because it dispenses more icecubes at a time (24) than others (9). We use quite a lot of ice and the one in the fridge just doesn’t keep up. As advertised ice is ready within 15 mins. The fans are a little noisy but not too bad, I expect after a while it’ll just be background noise to me. The ice comes out in one big chunk though. It holds quite a bit of water so don’t need to refill for a while. I just got a gallon jug to go with it because I’m lazy.

Very efficient
I purchased this counter top ice maker because the cost to fix the one in our refrigerator was more than double it’s price. We don’t want to get a new fridge yet, but we’re tired of buying bags. I fill this with gallon jugs of drinking water or distilled water. One jug makes 2 gallon sized ziplock bags FULL of ice. Our tap water is very hard, therefore I used filtered water only. The ice tastes great and doesn’t melt too quickly. It’s a little workhorse so far. I fill it up and let it do it’s thing. Love it! It’s a little loud but that’s ok with us.

Nice!
This thin puts out! I’m a fisherman and hunter and with very little effort my weekly ice needs are met.

Overall, kind of a pain if you want ice that lasts more than a couple minutes
The ice machine makes good ice cubes, but the mechanism used to tell it to stop when full is COMPLETELY WORTHLESS so you have 2 options: 1. Ice cubes that are barely frozen and melt instantly but otherwise it works fine or 2. Ice cubes that are frozen solid, but it is overfills the basket so much that each round sticks to the last which then turns into a solid block of ice that you need to turn the machine off for HOURS to get out. Can’t say I would recommend getting this if you actually want ice cubes that last for more than a couple minutes.

Customer service was fantastic
Revised review- My initial experience, as detailed below, was negative. However, after leaving the negative review the manufacturer contacted me. They explained how the ice maker was designed to work, and we concluded that mine was defective. They then offered to send me a replacement via FedEx. Upon arrival, I allowed the ice maker to sip upright for a day to allow the coolant and oil to settle, then plugged it in to test. It immediately started making ice and it works as designed. None of the issues I complained about with the original ice maker are present in the replacement. Although I was initially disappointed with this ice maker, the replacement provided by the manufacturer works great. It’s not common for companies to reach out and make things right these days, but this company stands behind their product. I would definitely feel comfortable buying other products they make after this experience. This ice maker replaced another brand that died after a number of years. The old one was very easy. Fill it with water and it makes ice. If the ice melts it recycled it to make new ice. This one seemed to be easy to set up, but I just can’t get it to work properly. The ice tray fills with water and needs to be drained. It doesn’t recycle the water in the ice tray. It needs to be turned off and on repeatedly to start working. It’s just frustrating to use.

Nice machine for the price
So far I really like this machine. It doesn’t keep the ice frozen so you would want to empty into your freezer but makes new ice quickly and reuses melted water. So far pretty happy with it. Had it about a month. No more trips to the convenience store for ice.

This thing is a beast! UPDATE
I bought this to replace a bullet ice maker that I had used 24/7 for the last 5 years. I initially bought the exact same one since I had been so happy with the first one. They obviously make them different now as the new one made terrible ice that stuck together and was very soft and I ended up returning it. After researching and reading tons of reviews I decided to buy this one. WOW! This ice machine is wonderful! We tried different ice thicknesses (changing the length of time for the ice to be made). The default was 0 and we settled on -4 minutes. The ice is a nice thickness, and it lasts for a long time. I did end up buying the 3 prong ice pick that someone suggested in their review (I bought the one that came with ice tongs) and I don’t regret that at all, in fact, it was a game changer. The ice does not break up very well at all so the ice pick is kind of a necessity, and the tongs get used more than the scoop does. After realizing just how much more ice this one makes compared to the bullet ice maker, we decided to buy 8lb ice bags. It’s not a problem at all to fill a bag of ice in a few hours and still have ice to use in drinks. I love this ice machine and the ice it makes!Update 8/18/23 A lot of people have had a hard time finding a bottle to use to fill this ice machine. I took a gallon water bottle (not the one that looks like a gallon of milk but the nee square ones) and removed the handle and it works perfectly! I attached a pic. Also…still loving this ice machine!

Works good
Works good, but I wish the ice broke into cubes instead of a big block.

Great Investment
Should have bought this some time ago. Would have saved lots of $$$. Its easy to use, and it does perform like its described to do so. If you are interested, get it. The poor thing has been going since it arrived.

Loooooooots of ice
We purchased this ice maker as it makes more ice then the smaller counter top ice makers I have had in the past. The ice cubes that we got from the less expensive machine was fine but melted very quickly. The ice cubes that we are getting from our new machine last a lot longer in our drink. It’s worth the extra cost.

Love this ice maker!
I had a different ice maker that made 9 Cubes at a time and finally quick working. I decided to get this one and have had it a couple weeks and LOVE it! It’s great that I can put a 1 gallon water jug on top so I don’t have to continually add water. It makes 24 Cubes at a time, and take about 7 cycles until the bin is full. So it will hold about 168 Cubes of ice in the bucket. I also like it it displays a countdown on the screen how long until the next cycle of ice is finished.

Happy with purchase & bottle problem solved
We just received this machine yesterday & so far we’re very pleased with it. We started the machine at 2:30pm, 1 hour after receiving it, and by 7 or 8pm it had made a little over 7lbs of ice. We gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for 2 reasons: there was no bottle included (I know, the Ad says that), but there was no mention on this site, in the instruction booklet, or any add-on suggested buy where to get a bottle. I solved the problem myself & saved time and money searching for one: I happened to have a 1.5 liter bottle of water & it fits perfectly in the bottle holder with no tipping at all. The 2nd reason for 4 stars is the instruction booklet: It is very vague & confusing in some areas. Added comment: the machine isn’t as quiet as it’s advertised to be.

Makes Great Ice
We like how this makes actual solid ice cubes, not the round hollow ones like some other machines. When I contacted support with a question about the cleaning and maintenance, they were prompt and helpful with their responses.

Works great, but..
Works great, makes ice like there’s no tomorrow. Its easy to fill. Had it for about a month with no issues. The only nitpick is that the ice drops as large block (think of a thick candy bar with breaks built in) rather than individual bits of ice. It’s not that hard to break the blocks up but some my not like that.

Best I’ve bought BUT
I waited all this time to review it. I have had a few ice machines before this one and of all of them this is the best one I have bought …. But …. I would have given it 5+ stars but the 2 gallon bottle they say you can use ???? Not in the USA. I tried several without ANY luck …. But being handyman I got a new 2 gallon bottle and used my heat gun to heat up the opening and I formed it smaller so that now it fits …. We go through a lot of ice and now and then it stops making ice and I have to turn it off for 30 seconds and back on then it’s good for a bit … all in all I would buy it again ….. if you buy …. do yourself a favor and order the 3 prong ice pick at the same time …. You won’t regret it

In spite of the reviews, it works well.
I purchased this ice maker because my refrigerator wasn’t working properly. I decided to buy this little gadget until I could decide if I would get a new fridge or not. I was a little hesitant at first after reading the reviews. I am glad that I did. Many of the other reviews mentioned that the ice doesn’t last in the bin/ doesn’t stay frozen, etc. Well, surprisingly, mine did. I am not sure if some improvements were made to this model but my cubes don’t melt right away. My picture is of the batch of ice cubes currently being made. I thought I had snapped a picture of the big batch from the other day but I didn’t. I’ll try to take another picture and upload it. Some of the cubes have been like slushy ice and some have been a little firmer. I did take the advice mentioned in another post and added a little salt. I think I added a little too much salt as it tasted salty 🙂 but the consistency of the ice cubes were on point. I did replace my fridge but this device will be used elsewhere in the home.As far as the noise level goes, it sounds like a typical ice maker. I wasn’t bothered by the noise and it wasn’t that loud.

So far, so good. Wary of bad reviews – will update over time.
I intend to update this review every couple months, as I’ve read plenty of reviews talking about the longevity of the machine. I made sure to follow all the instructions, and the one that almost got me was “Let it sit for an hour for coolant to settle before plugging it in”, because the first thing I instinctively tried to do was plug it in; watch out for this, haha.I set this up in my garage because I wasn’t sure how loud it would be. Turns out it is rather quiet – just the sound of running water and the occasional clatter of ice cubes.I was afraid it wouldn’t work in the 80-90°F heat of the garage, but it has proven me wrong yet again. It works just fine, and dispenses ice around every 13-17 minutes. It’s definitely wet ice – I believe that’s due to the way the water runs. So my plan is to run it for a few cycles at a time, bag the ice, and store it in my freezer. Then I can bust it apart easier when it refreezes together. One of the reasons I got it was to put a container of water on top and not have to fill it manually every couple pounds of ice. I wish they would list a compatible barrel/jug, because that has been the biggest struggle. The way the cover folds out, it is in the way when trying to use standard 5 or 3 gallon barrels (I had 5 gallons on hand, and made a purchase of 3 gallon to test). With a little wiggling, the cover can be removed and the 3 gallon standard barrel fits, but only if the barrel has no lid. So I put the adapter (included) on the barrel and hoisted it on, and with only a little bit of spilled water and a few minutes trying to balance it, it’s working. It is a little flimsy, and needs to be balanced, as it feels like it’s bending the top of the machine a bit, but I’ve had it up there for a while and it seems to be fine. This is my second update, and update again in a month or sooner if it goes kaput.
