I LOVE it
Excellent, bright picture easily controlled with the very comprehensive remote. The feature which puts this projector over the top for me is the excellend sound quality and volume. Videos can be clearly heard in a large room by thirty people, with volume to spare. Perfect for my use. I LOVE it!

Works great
I bought this after trying a smaller, less expensive projector. The church is well lit on Sunday morning, so I needed a bright picture, and this projector delivers in spades. I was even able to adjust the picture so that those on the far side of the building can see it more straight on. I highly recommend this product if you are looking for quality without a huge price tag. The only thing I wish it had that the smaller projector had is a thumb drive port and blue tooth capability. Otherwise, great product at a great price.

Tl;dr- Excellent price range for normal user, but not 4k or HD audio
Great product for the value. Bought this product as an alternative to a conventional tv. Love the fact that it does the same job as a 70″+ tv for a fraction of the cost, especially with the fact it is a renewed/refurb product. It saves space from needing the actual tv and a stand, where instead it can sit easily sit on top of a bookshelf. However, it does have its caveats. The quality isn’t going to be HD/4K res, as shown in my photos. So if you are an intense gamer or one of the sports fanatics who needs res to the extent of seeing every wrinkle on the player, this might not be for you.Additionally, sound quality directly from projector is reasonable for most scenarios. The one problem would be it can’t handle having the audio is ALL the way up especially during a bass-heavy moment. You can probably get an HDMI audio extractor to hook it up to proper speakers, but I haven’t found the need to yet.All in all, worth the purchase for my needs, would recommend

Happy with Purchase
I am overall happy with the purchase with one small exception. I didn’t realize at the time I was buying a refurbished model. It wasn’t that transparent when I was searching on Amazon. I would have purchased the extended warranty had I known. Other than that, it seems to be working and I think it will serve it’s purpose.

Can’t connect any external sound devices!
Image is alright. But let me just get into my biggest disappointment with this product. Projectors are notorious for terrible built in speakers and this doesn’t fall too far behind. Although it’s louder than other projectors I’ve come across, the quality isn’t good. Ear piercing I would say. I was looking forward to connecting a sound bar to it, which I would’ve never thought would be an issue, like what projector wouldn’t? Come to find out, I CANT! Even my $120 projector gave me that option. Ugh… when they say good use for presentations, it means good use for things that no one pays attention to so what does it matter what it looks and sounds like.

Poor Quality Projector
This projector might work OK for the kids’ video room, but I would definitely not recommend it for meeting presentations or anything that requires clear definition. Trying to read the numbers on a spreadsheet or data table is impossible, making it completely useless for a meeting. When I contacted Epson about this poor quality all they could do was recommend I purchase a ‘higher definition’ projector for $500.00.

Buy directly from Epson!
We have had nothing but problems since buying this projector. We are sure we received one with a faulty lamp but Epson will not replace it because it was not purchased directly through them. We need to open up the lamp compartment 2-3 times every time we want to use the projector even though it is a new unit with less than 100 lamp hours since purchasing it 9 months ago.

A professional grade, multi-talented, bright projector
Epson EX3260 SVGA 3LCD ProjectorAmazon price: $398.00This is a serious projector that is impressively bright. It can actually be used in a partially lit room without too much image degradation because of its 3300 lumen White Brightness. A range of ports on the back allows connection to a wide variety of sources via USB-A, USB-B, HDMI, VGA (Computer), RCA Audio, RCA Video. This model does not support wireless connectivity but an optional 802.11b/g/n wireless LAN module can be purchased separately from Epson if this feature is needed. A removable air filter is built-in and a nicely padded canvas carrying case is included.Image quality from this 3LCD projector is good with a SVGA resolution of 800 x 600. Color brightness (color light output) and white brightness (white light output) are both 3300 Lumens with a wide color gamut. The included remote has settings for five color modes (Presentation, Movies, RGB, Dynamic, Blackboard). Additional settings include Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, Tint, Sharpness, Color temperature, and Image Noise Reduction. Screen aspect ratios of 4:3 and 16:9 are possible. Two or more sources can be attached to the projector so that simultaneous split-screen effects can be viewed. You can even store a logo in the projector’s memory so that whenever it is powered on your logo is projected on the screen. This can also be set so that your logo will be viewed between presentations. This Epson EX3260 projector supports HDMI, the current standard in connectivity, for digital video and audio with a single cable from DVD players and video cameras. The projector has an adequate built-in speaker but don’t expect room filling sound. There is no audio-out jack so that should be handled from your source computer. The USB port allows connections to Macs and PCs and the USB-A port can be used with flash drives or external hard drives for slideshows and presentations. Advancing slides can be done manually or timed with or without wipes or dissolve transitions. A zoom feature is available for emphasizing a portion of the screen during a presentation. Two or more sources can be attached to the projector so that split-screen effects can be viewed. The remote control permits vertical and horizontal keystone correction. The remote also controls a number of settings: Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, Tint, Sharpness, Color temperature, Image Noise Reduction, and Five Color Modes. Epson states that the lamps will last up to 10,000 hours. An Instant-off feature allows you to power down, pack-up and go efficiently. The projector runs on any voltage between 100V and 240V. Power consumption is 280W (in ECO power consumption mode it is 200W). A printed quick-start guide is included as well as a 200+ page comprehensive manual on an included CD.This is a terrific everyday use projector with a bright image suitable for conference rooms, classrooms, and meeting rooms. I’m using it for presentations to a group of about fifty people who meet monthly. It’s portable and it sets up and powers down quickly.

Great Projector!
This is an awesome projector. I did have one concern – the built in speaker – it is quiet hard to hear if you have children who talk or are playing in the room you are in or a room next to where you have this set up. That being said you add an external speaker or sound bar that would really make a huge difference. (minus one star.)The picture is super clear and bright – I found that it was better then I thought it would be.Make sure you budget in HDMI and Audio cables for this as they are not included and you will need them. The Epson EX3260 is an SVGA (800×600 pixels) resolution projector that comes with a carrying case, VGA cable, USB-A to USB-B cable, remote control + batteries, power cable, and manual. The dimensions of the projector are 9.9 x 11.9 x 3.6 in, and it weighs about 5.5 pounds. This is a 3LCD projector, which uses three LCD panel chips–this display technology can have higher color light output than single-chip DLP projectors. The included carrying bag is great, because we set ours up outside for movie night with the other families in our neighborhood and since I can get everything in the travel bag it makes it that much easier to do this more often! For the price and what you get this is a great deal!

Compact, portable projector ideal for business and classroom presentations
If you are looking for a portable projector that displays vivid images even in well-lit rooms, the Epson EX3260 SVGA 3,300 Lumens Portable Projector maybe be exactly the projector you are looking for.The Epson EX3260 is an SVGA (800×600 pixels) resolution projector that comes with a carrying case, VGA cable, USB-A to USB-B cable, remote control + batteries, power cable, instruction manual, and holder for the optional Wireless LAN Module (ELPAP10). This optional accessory allows you to send audio and video to the projector wirelessly by connecting to it on your LAN.The dimensions of the projector are 9.9 x 11.9 x 3.6 in, and it weighs about 5.5 pounds. Note that this is a 3LCD projector, which uses three LCD panel chips–this display technology can have higher color light output than single-chip DLP projectors. The included carrying bag makes it easy to take the projector with you. The sides of the soft bag include light padding and the front flap has a Velcro closure. One key feature of this projector is the brightness of the displayed images. At 3,300 lumens, the images are bright even in well-lit rooms, which makes this projector ideal especially for business or classroom presentations. The projector has an SVGA display, which is 800×600 pixels. The somewhat lower resolution is another reason this projector is better for a work environment than a home environment. The aspect ratio is 4:3. Note that these images are projected onto my 120” screen. In the back is a port for the power cable, a USB-A port (which is where you would connect the optional Wireless LAN Module (ELPAP10)), a USB-B port, R/L audio and video RCA input ports, VGA port, and an HDMI port. Note that this projector does not have audio output ports–the built-in mono speaker is fine for business or classroom presentations, but is not really a good option for home cinema uses. USB Plug ‘n Play for Mac and PC.The top of the projector includes buttons for power and menu navigation, a horizontal keystone correction control, and indicator lights. This projector supports various options for mounting your projector, though mounting brackets are not included. Via the menu you can choose to display from front table or ceiling mounts as well as rear table or ceiling mounts. Note that the projector also has auto vertical keystone correction and manual horizontal keystone correction, to handle situations when the projector is not perpendicular to the horizontal and vertical centerlines of the screen. In use, I found this to be a compact, portable SVGA projector that displays vivid images in well-lit environments, which makes this projector ideal for business or classroom presentations. I also like the carrying case, since it makes storing and moving the projector around more convenient.

Pleased with performance and utility
Easy to set up out of the box projector. I needed a portable projector for presentations and this does the job beautifully. Looks great in a bright, windows open room and is adjustable for the lighting situation. The picture is easy to adjust when projecting onto a screen from an odd angle. The color looks great and doesn’t bleed like you might expect from a lower price projector in this range. Comes with everything you need out of the box and can handle any input configuration I can throw at it. It does put off some heat but far less than some of the older model Optima projectors I’ve used in the past. This projector can project from almost 30 feet away, providing a very large image for large crowd presentations. Carry bag feels a bit cheap but will do the trick. At this price point, so far I’m very pleased with the performance and utility of this projector. We’ll see how it holds up….

Good quality for the price and reliable manufacturer with proven track record
The performance of this Epson is right for the price, which is very much on the affordable end of the spectrum. I have this mounted in my garage for things like Saturday college football gameday parties. I have double doors in the garage and if one is open and there is a lot of daylight, the brightness just isn’t intense enough to overcome it and the screen can be hard to see. For night games and low-light viewing, it’s perfectly fine. It was really easy to set up and I generally don’t have any complaints about the product for what it advertises. I am going to upgrade in the future, however, to something that can handle a wider variety of light situations.

Easier to set up than I had feared!
I did not review this right away because I was afraid that there would be difficulty in putting it together, but all the cables and batteries were there and it hooked up well. The video quality is great, but the audio could be better. It has its own speakers, which are okay but not wonderful. There are work-arounds mentioned in other reviews, but I am using this in a small space that has no trouble with weak audio, so will be using this as is.

Portable Powerful Projector
The Epson EX3260 is a capable projector, no it isn’t HD… but IMO it still throws a suprisingly good picture, once you adjust the pitcture/color settings.I really like this projector, more so than I expected… I am using it in my garage to watch cable & YouTube ect & it is awesome! The picture is bright & colorful even with the lights on.And yes…. it does have an onboard speaker & has sound/audio out, if you are using HDMI to connect to your source then you are good to go, unless you want to go audio out to a stereo, then you will need some audio cables. The onboard speaker, while not great… IS pretty good if you are in a relatively small room with no background noises…. but insufficient on it’s own otherwise IMO.The EX3260 is easy to set up & it’s controls user friendly…. it took just a few minutes to get it up & running. This unit is pretty quiet, & heat output is minimal… it comes with printed instruction manuals & a disk/manual, remote control, power cord, USB cord, VGA cord & the carry case.I am rating this projector 5 stars because I really like it, and I like it because it ” just works” for me In that I love being able to watch TV/cable & YouTube ect. on a big 80 in. screen in the garage… the 5 stars is not meant to suggest this is one of the best projectors on the market because it is not, but it IS one of the best for it’s price point.Yes, you do get allot for a modest price with this one…. including Epson quality…. IMO Epson is the Alpha Male in todays “projector pack” & is synonymous with high quality products. 5 stars – highly recommended.

Brilliant & Hot
So far I love the image quality of this projector. Set up was straightforward & quick. The illumination is brilliant. The quality of the image is sharp despite the SVGA resolution. It provides many connectivity options. I am tremendously impressed with the overall quality. The reasons for 4/5 rating are: it runs extremely hot, the fan is noisy & can be distracting, & the built-in rear speaker does not work with my MBP.

What a surprise!
I wasn’t sure if buying a refurbished projector was the way to go but am I surprised. The picture is very bright, the set up was beyond easy and the shipping was quick. The only thing I don’t like, and it is nothing anyone did or didn’t do is the fact that it doesn’t turn on with Wemo plugs. Again it’s minor and I’m lazy but other than that, buy it if you are looking for a great projector with a great picture

Lacks sufficient resolution
Projector display resolution is not suitable for text at the average 10 foot distance. Dialed up the “sharpness” to max on the remote, but does little good.Pictures fairly bright, HDMI coupling works well. Focus is a little imprecise. My presentations demand a better Epson product, but unfortunately the cost of those is too high.Suitable for average home use but not for educational programs.

WOW!! Awesome!!
So far so good. I have hooked it up to see how it works. I love the picture quality. The problem I have had in the past is that I had to turn lights off to see the picture from my previous projector. This one has blown the old one out of the water! I was so excited to see that. I’m not fond on the remote control. It seems too bulky to me. That is the reason for 4 stars. In a few weeks I will be using the projector on a daily basis and will be able to do a better review then.

Burns lamps in 3 months. 2 replacements already.
The original lamp lasted around 5 months. The replacement lamp lasted 3 months. I expected more from Epson. My Viewsonic projector still has the original lamp and I ran it all the time for about 4 years. It still works. I am done with Epson. I am going back to viewsonic. Best overall lasting projectors.

Great picture, wish hdmi in with audio out was easier.
Wish this had easy audio out via headphone Jack or way to sync sound via Bluetooth when casting via hdmi port. I ended up purchasing an audio extractor for my hdmi connection to get the job done.Brightness was great for outdoor early dusk, perfecto for night with very sharp, crisp colored picture.

The resolution of the images projected is very poor.
Long time purchaser of a variety of Epson products and have been very pleased until I purchased this item. There are strong points that should be mentioned including size, portability, connectivity and illumination; A projector really has only one purpose however and that is to view large format quality images. This thing projects well but the result in image quality and resolution is dismal at best. one would think that for the best part of $500.00, it would perform this one task well….my mistake. So, If you expect to project quality home theater or even conference room still images that are clear, do yourself a favor and opt for a different manufacturer, or budget a far more significant amount of money. Customer service at Epson? Gee, sorry for your luck. Lesson learned.

Does not work with IOS devices – with PC it is OK and bright
I bought the projector based on reviews and yes it is bright but it does not work with IOS devices with a iPhone cable with HDMI. Since the unit had the HDMI connection, I assumed the adaptor from iPhone to HDMI will do the task, but it does not work. Based on my reading on net, the only way to connect Ex 3260 with iPhone is to use the wireless connection and for that you need to buy the optional LAN module and install it in the projector. You also need an APP in the iPhone to use the projector with iPhone. Even if you had the LAN module, streaming may not work via the Wireless connectivity through the projector. Only projector that can directly be connected with iPhone are Epson EX7260 or EX9210/9220. I am not sure what I should do. I will have to decide after the Thanksgiving.

Plug and Play
I have an earlier model of this attached to the ceiling of my classroom which has given many years of good service. I needed one that I could take to a remote class and stop having to unfasten the one from the ceiling. This newer model came, I set it up right out of the box, gave a class and ran another webinar back to back with no hassle.

I am very disappointed as I wanted the projector to be at least …
I have tried using this two weekends in a row. I have read all directions and sought assistance. However, I cannot get the screen to display properly or evenly. I have to put the projector very close to the screen to get any type of view of the movie. I am very disappointed as I wanted the projector to be at least 12 to 15 feet so that the kids could have a good view. I am returning in hopes of purchasing something a little more advanced..
