Beautiful picture quality but noisy
This projector has amazing picture quality. Though it’s 1080p it’s still looks amazing. I’ve had this for about a week now I do love it but there is something I don’t like. It’s really noisy I didn’t notice it till today but when you first turn it on it sounds like a jet engine. It takes a few minutes for it to calm down but even then it’s still pretty loud. Maybe mines defective. I got this on prime day for 85 bucks it’s worth it for the price even with the noise.

Amazing qualities for a reasonable price
My husband and I are so obsessed with this Projector. At first he wasn’t sure he was going to be a fan, but we put it in our bedroom and angled as the ceiling and we use it to fall asleep every single night. We bought a fire stick to plug-in, and were able to watch all of our favorite shows and movies! I also love it came with the ability to plug it HDMI or USB. My mom has one too and she uses it to play ghost Halloween videos on her front porch. Can’t say enough good things because the quality is just amazing and the price really was so reasonable.

Great projector for the price point.. bright and crisp

I purchased the projector on a Prime Day deal and it’s been working great. I’ve watched a couple of movies on it so far and the blacks are dark and the colors are crisp. I’m in a fairly dark room, but even with a bit of light shining in, this projector has some decent brightness. The silver knob on the handle snapped off without me even touching it, so I just took off the other side and glued the knobs in. I don’t quite trust the way it was set into the unit, so I’d rather just hold it from the bottom, anyway.

Mighty projector in hand held portable package!

I have used lots of projectors at work and at home, and this little projector is hands down one of the best powerhouses out there for the price and portable usages.Out of the box it was ready to plug and play. I used airplay to play YouTube videos right off my phone. So much easier to play and view videos over a remote control.The video quality is 10/10 with a bright clear picture and very expandable to half the size of the wall (maybe fifteen feet across?).The audio was surprising punchy with good base and regular mid/high tones. I could easily feel the deepness in the sound.Using the machine was quite easy. Love the two buttons for auto focus. No more toggling the lens cap! I’m in focus within two clicks of a button.The only cons I can think of is that it didn’t come with batteries for the remote. And that the machine does run slight warm, which could affect the longevity of the machine. Keep it well ventilated (not on a cushion) should solve that issue. You’ll also have to use a fire stick or similar to run Netflix or YouTube tv since you can’t play these directly off AirPlay. No biggie, the package includes an hdmi cable for easy hookup to a fire stickPortability of the machine is really exciting. I can see myself using this in any room or bringing it to the neighbors house for a random movie night.Overall, this projector is definitely one of the most exciting purchases I have made and I was pleasantly pleased by the video, audio, ease of use, and simplicity of this masterpiece of a machine. Highly recommended.

Portable, but quite powerful

As a repeat customer of WIMIUS projectors, I was excited to see they released a strong portable version as a counterpart to my non-portable model. This particular projector is quite compact and the size makes it very useful for taking on the road weighing just 2 pounds while measuring just 4 inches wide, 5 inches deep, and 6 inches high. Attached is a picture of what was in the box including an HDMI cable, RCA adapter, and cleaning cloth along with the standard remote and power cord. The included remote control requires 2 AAA batteries which were not provided. The machine was not overly noisy and didn’t get too hot either.The picture quality on this unit is outstanding, I have attached some video and pictures for reference using a blank white wall as the screen area with an approximate screen size of 100 inches. The picture is sharp and crisp and HD videos still look HD quality. I used the “Dynamic” picture mode for these example images. The brightness is strong even with some light in the room, however, I would still recommend a somewhat dark room for optimal performance. The electronic focus is much more convenient than the manual focus on most projectors, however, it can take a couple of tries back and forth to really hit an ideal focus level. The only lacking feature is keystone correction which means this projector should remain flat on a surface or the picture will become distorted. However, they included a hole on the bottom threaded for a tripod mount, or you can simply just put it on something more elevated if you need it higher up.The audio quality is also amazing using the “Movie” mode and comes out very crisp with a solid bit of bass to it. The attached video should help demonstrate some of this sound quality. The sound is also at a volume level strong enough that it can be heard from a pretty good distance away.Overall, this projector is a solid option for those looking for something small and lightweight to take on the road while still having a strong feature set at a reasonable price. With excellent picture and sound quality this projector makes a case for being one of the best values around.

Great Value. Awesome performance to price ratio.
For what we paid for this projector, I am floored. The picture quality is crisp, focus was simple to figure out. We have used it several times in the backyard on a 150 inch screen. At night, this projector is MORE than bright enough to do this. The sound could be a bit better but I just paired a speaker with it for a great experience.

Small but performant projector!
This projector is easy to install and get to use rapidly. It is very portable and a nice-looking addition to any living room. I configured my phone easily and it worked well. An additional speaker is indicated if you are looking for heavy sound! It is very portable and does the jog. My only complaint is that it does not have keystone.

Several months ago I purchased a Wimius projector for my home theater. I’ve been extremely impressed with that product, so when I found myself in the market for a portable projector that I could use outdoors, or while traveling I was very excited to see that Wimius had just released such a unit. I’ve been testing the “Wimius Mini Projector with 5GWiFi and Bluetooth, WIMIUS 1080P Outdoor Projector, Portable Movie Projector” for the last several days, and I must say I’m very impressed. The projector came with everything needed to get started including cables and an easy-to-use remote control, along with a very detailed user manual (see picture which includes package contents). Within a few minutes, I was able to connect the projector and have it up and running. It was easy to connect the projector to my home WiFi, and it also had an HDMI and USB port I was able to connect my Amazon Firestick too (see pictures). It also had a very easy interface in which I was able to mirror the image on my iPhone through the projector using the Bluetooth capability.Once I had everything connected I gave the projector a thorough test. Here is what impressed me about the projector:1) Very quick and easy to set up. Was able to have it up and running within a few minutes without needing to crack open the instruction manual2) Projected powers on very quickly, and full picture display is available within a few seconds of powering up3) Easy to connect devices through HDMI, USB, or in the case of my iPhone, through the mirror function4) Menu interface was easy to find my way around5) Amazing clear HD picture which displays well even in lighted rooms6) Adequate built-in speaker, but sound really blasted nicely once I connected to my Bluetooth speaker (in the sample video I played the sound through the built-in speaker just to give you an idea of sound. I had the sound at 50% level)7) Was easy to connect the projector to my ceiling mount, and rotate the picture for upside-down use; although I only did this to test the ability. I want to keep the projector available for mobile use, rather than mounted use.A few things to be aware of:1) The unit does not have keystone adjustments, so the unit must be high enough (or low enough) to sit flat and project onto the screen. Was not an issue for my use, but wanted to point it out.2) The remote does not come with batteries, so you’ll need to triple A (AAA) batteries to operate3) Don’t lose the remote. The remote is necessary to operate the projectorOverall, I was very impressed with the projector; hence my 5-star rating. This is now the second Wimius projector I own, and I would not hesitate to recommend either of them to my friends and family.

Exceeds Expectations!

The Wimius P61 projector impressed me from the start. It was very well packaged and its light weight and size make it extremely portable.It’s a straight-forward unit with easily understood instructions and controls. Within minutes I had the projector hooked up to my Fire Stick and was watching programs. Still, if you have any difficulties I’ve found Wimius’ customer service to be first-rate. (I have another of their projectors as well).The picture quality of the P61 is genuinely impressive—and not just for a small, portable projector. I would have been perfectly pleased to have bought this as my first projector. (Especially at the price). I tried placing the projector at both two and four meters and the picture remained sharp, clear and beautifully colorful.Of course moving the projector different distances requires refocusing and this is where the P61 really shines. I was initially skeptical of how well the auto focus would work, but not only is it easily done, it took me but seconds to regain the crisp focus.My first two viewing choices were classics: The Avengers (tv show) and Mysterious Island. Since I’m limited to one video attachment here, I’ve included the latter movie. My video of it, unfortunately, doesn’t adequately capture the true quality of the P61 images.The speaker is more than adequate for a medium-sized room, but when I use it outdoors I’ll use an external Bluetooth speaker to ensure adequate sound. Incidentally, I did connect a Bluetooth speaker here inside within just minutes. I didn’t grow up with computer technology, so past experiences have literally taken me hours. In contrast, this was a very pleasant cinch that took only minutes.Clearly I highly recommend this projector for anyone looking for an affordable, portable projector.

This is the best portable projector with supreme picture quality and auto-focus. This is on par with most expensive projectors in the market. I could use it with firetv stick, screen-mirror with ipad/iphone and nintendo switch console without any issue. Setting this up is easiest I have seen. Highly recommend this product

Amazing little thing!!
Omg! This is a cute little thing I can use to do presentstions at school and to watch movies when I go camping. I love the handle to carry it around. It is super clear screen quality and sound. I got a lunch bag with cushion to carry it around when I go camping to give it extra protection and to have different compartment to keep the wires separate. I had to buy and extension and an HDMI for my tablet. I love it has a remote control and I love the color!

Fantastic little projector that will blow your mind!!!
I purchased the projector when it was on sale on the Prime day.I usually read all the reviews and be very careful on purchasing something that I am not familiar with.This product had decent reviews and I decided trying it.Wow, It was way better than expected.Few years ago, I bought a mini projector from Amazon and returned it right after I tried because it had really bad resolution and brightness was like a joke… (you have to turn off all the lights in order to use that properly).This projector from WIMIUS has much better resolution and brightness.I can even watch my fav Netflix shows and Youtube videos with the lights on.You just need to add a fire stick or Google Chrome cast for Netflix.A+++My 5 year old son loves this as well watching Pokemon while lying down on his bed.

Best Purchase Ever
It has a great options to use, it’s compatible with HDMI, which you can plug any streamer in (like amazon fire stick), also has a great audio itself, but you can also use a bluetooth device or any speaker with the auxiliar plug to avoid delays. I play my Ps5 with this amazing device and it’s great, great colors, great everything. It’s a cute device too. The only problem was the Airplay connection with the iphone, but I think i’m doing something wrong, so I use a samsung device for the mirror cast and works perfectly.

Great value for price
For the money, this is the best quality projector I’ve used. Picture quality is fantastic, at least 1080p. Built in speakers are sufficient, but would recommend plug in ones. Only small complaint I have it the focus is only Electric. So if you lose the remote, there isn’t a way to focus it, wish there was a manual option. But all in all I don’t think you can beat it for the price.

I was in the market for a low end, portable projector. I really wanted a projector that was under $300, battery powered option for portability, 1080p NATIVE resolution, and a built in smart TV/Android TV. This projector exceeded my expectations. With the current coupon I paid less than 200$ for the unit. The system is remarkably responsive at this price point. The built in interface was easy to use. There was very little bloatware and almost all of the pre installed applications are actually useful. I tried most of the popular streaming apps and I had no issues streaming video.The picture quality is very very good at this price point. Keep in mind you’re paying for a projector, a built in battery and an really good interface all bundled into a portable package. I was quite impressed. I really didn’t expect to get anything with decent quality. The picture is beyond watchable and actually pretty decent. I have not verified that the display is exactly 1920×1080 pixels but to the naked eye I really believe that it is.While this device does have a built in battery it seems like the brightness is little dim when you’re running on battery only. Plugged in, you get the full brightness. Still the picture is best in a completely dark room but when plugged in it’s watchable in indoor lighting so long as it’s on the dimmer side.One fun thing I found with this projector is if you plug in a wireless keyboard/mouse dongle you can use a 2.4Ghz wireless keyboard/mouse with Android which makes navigationSo far I haven’t noticed a single ad in any of the built in apps and the interface is clean and responsive.If you’re in the market for an affordable (under $300) projector and want a decent picture and built in smart functionality this projector is the one to get!

Pleasantly surprisingly good!
So this is my second projector for our side yard for mainly late summer evenings watching movies and sports. I have an Optoma UHD 35x for indoors and we were considering having another screen for outdoor group viewing. I have previously purchased and owned a Wimius P60 460 Ceiling projector as well. I am frankly amazed at the quality of configuration ease, input sources and projection quality of these projectors. This review is particularly for the portable projector:Pros:- EXTREMELY easy to setup and configure, took me literally 2 mins to bring this up, connect my phone (Bluetooth), laptop (wifi), and an HDMI input (second laptop), and then using the electric focus it was a breeze! This is a big plus given experience with other projectors.- Powerful projection quality. At this price, this might make the purchase a no-brainer with this projection quality- I tested this during daytime in my sideyard (pergola with a pergola roof/cover) so it wasn’t dark (let alone completely dark) and it worked really well- The number of source inputs makes a significant difference (especially vs the more expensive ones)- Portable, light, and looks elegant – I have added a picture of just the projector and it is incredibly easy to carry and useCons:- During my testing, for relatively high-frequency content it is better to use a wired connection or a Chromecast/Firestick (and not Wifi or Bluetooth)- As you move this around to new screens, adjusting the electric focus to the sharpest level can take a few minutes (this happened when I tried it on my second screen inside the home)All in all, this is an easy buy and I might add, this could be a really smart gift choice! Highly recommended.

Great project, great value, great size, easy set up
The P61-US from WIMIUS is a great small-sized projector that is easy to set and use especially if you have set up other devices before. I used it on my roof in the city. I cannot get total darkness, yet this projector provided a sharp vibrant image on my 100-inch screen. It has a mount to screw into a tripod, which is how I use it. It easily connected to my Roku by selecting the HDMI connection. The Bluetooth speaker was set up like any other device. However, I would not recommend using Bluetooth connection for speakers because there is always a lag no matter what projector you use. A wired connection using the earphone jack is the way to go. The built-in speaker is adequate if you are close by.The instructions could be clearer as is the case with most Chinese-made products. It is set up like every other device so that experience will get you through setting this up with no problem. A case for this projector would also be very useful. My other WIMIUS projector has one that helps a lot and makes the product more attractive. The built-in handle is useful, but a protective case would be better. I transport it in its original box.I recommend this product for its portability, quality, and ease of use at this price point.

Nice compact unit with good picture quality for the price.
For the price it was a good unit and well package to prevent injury during shipping. The sharpness of the image was very good. The colors were a little muted and, though relatively bright, it does need a dark room, but that is expected in a low price unit. It linked easily to my cell phone and blue tooth speaker (simultaneously) and it was a great find that it has a screw thread in the base that allowed it to be attached to a camera tripod. Even at a 100″ enlargement no scan lines were visible. I plan on using it for motorcycle camping so its small form fits my needs well. The fact that the remote control sucks up batteries quickly is really the only down side to what is otherwise a nice inexpensive projector.

NEEDS Keystone correction
I love this little projector! It has been fun for family movie nights and watching things in bed with the kids. I see there’s an option for OTA firmware update, can we expect to get a manual keystone feature soon?Really the lack of keystone is this projector’s only flaw. Maybe I would add a lens cap and built-in chrome cast but that’s not a deal breaker. I just got a fire stick and we have all the shows we want through that. It’s also amazing I can airplay my iPhone to it and we can look at photos together. Such a fun product – please WIMIUS if you read this, add manual keystone adjustment!

However, I have to admit that I was disappointed with the projection alignment.Let’s start with the positives. The 1080P resolution ensures clear and vibrant visuals, and the large 300″ screen size allows for an immersive viewing experience. The inclusion of 5G WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity also provides seamless wireless streaming and the flexibility to connect external speakers or headphones.Setting up the projector was fairly straightforward, and navigating through the menu and settings was intuitive. The electric focus feature is a great addition, allowing for easy adjustment of the image sharpness. The built-in speaker, while not exceptional, is decent enough for casual use without the need for external audio devices.Now, let’s address the main issue—I found that the projection alignment was not straight, which was quite disappointing. Despite my efforts to adjust the projector’s position and utilize the keystone correction feature, I struggled to achieve a perfectly aligned image. This resulted in a slightly distorted and skewed projection, especially noticeable when projecting on flat surfaces like walls or screens.I understand that achieving perfect projection alignment can be challenging for many projectors, especially those in the portable category. Great little projector, picture quality is great, fan is quiet. -1 star only because you can’t adjust picture size. Projector has to be roughly 10’ from screen

Not 300″ but the greatest customer service
I’m sure it will be fine but I was really looking for something that would fill a full 300 inch diagonal on a screen for outside of our camp. That said the manual says it is for 200 in and the optimal distance is it 2.5 m which is equivalent to about 100 in. I do have to say testing it in the basement I’m not sure if I see this being an issue as it did look terrific.Follow up: Aug 11At this point I have to say that I am very impressed. Customer service is nothing short of exceptional. I brought a few issues I had to their attention with regards to the projectors I had received. They reached out to me on several occasions to upgrade me to a different projector and could not have been better about it. They did everything in their power to make this right and I need to shout it from the rooftops because they did just that. Thank you very much.

Great overall but the background noise is a bit loud
I love the autofocus and it is easy to set up. The screen is very high quality. However, the low humming sound in the background once it’s turned on is a little bit of a distraction. It does not matter much once you put on a show or a movie, but when it’s on pause you can hear the low humming sound.

Little projector packs a big picture!
I can’t say enough about how amazing this projector is! When first unboxing the projector comes in very protective packaging as pictured, so it arrived in perfect condition. I liked that it came with all the chords you could possibly need to connect to it as well as a remote and soft cloth to clean the lens. Start up was very quick and easy and I was streaming away within a couple minutes. The projector offers wireless mirroring with airplay or Mira cast and connecting to my Bluetooth speakers was just as simple. The image quality was fantastic I projected to the side of my house and it was like being in a theater my kids absolutely loved the experience and it reminded me of drive in theaters when I was a kid. I highly recommend anyone looking to share a great family memory must buy this projector and thank me later! 5 stars just isn’t enough!!!

Good picture quality, big sound
The projector is easy to use. We have our firestick plugged into it. The sound is amazing for such a small projector. Have not used outside, only indoors. Have had no issues so far. We love it!

Easy set up, Crisp and clear
I really love this projector. The electric focus is really easy to use to adjust the clearness on whatever surface you’re using. The set up is easy too whether you use HDMI, USB, or casting from your device. Casting from my phone has never been easier and I don’t have to worry about bringing extra cables. Really wish the built in speaker can be louder but it’s ok if you plan to have Bluetooth speakers.

Works very well.
Had to connect it to my laptop via hdmi in order to use my bluetooth speaker… if you connect your phone via bluetooth you cant use a bluetooth speaker so you are forced to use the speaker that the proyector had built in. The only way around it was once again to use the hdmi cable that way I could connect the audio via bluetooth.

Awesome little projector
This projector is super cool. I was able to connect my apple tv to the HDMI connector and watch my favorite shows. No issues so far. Good picture quality and price. I did some gaming with my steam deck and I was amazed with the refresh rate and picture quality. I totally recommend this device.

Great little projector
Size is great!! Super portable. It can project forwards or from behind (our choice because the cast distance isn’t too far). You’ll need a set of Bluetooth speakers if you’re putting your projector somewhere further than arms distance away: but it is handy to have some built-in speakers, in the projector!You’ll also need a Firestick (or other streaming add-on). But, once that’s set up – the projector works great!!

Solid little projector
I use it to watch movies while camping. I just wish it had its own internal battery. Definitely need a Bluetooth speaker too. For the price and a 3 year warranty, its hard to beat.
