The best🥰
This is one of the best primer I’ve ever used. It makes my makeup last longer than it normally does and I love that.. will definitely get more cause it’s worth the price. It’s very moisturizing and it’s easy to spread. Definitely recommend if you want your makeup to not look oily especially if you keeping it on for a whole day.

Great! does serve its purpose.
I love this primer, it is in second place to my Maybeline baby skin (this really blurs and smoothed the skin)’ The elf primer is suitable for both dry and oily skin, it spreads easy, and a pea size goes a long way. If you are applying matte foundation after using the primer u must blend quickly! for even application. I am overall satisfied with this product.

Best eyelid primer!
This is a game changer for priming eyelids. I put a dot on my hand and use finger to coat lids. Prevents any powder shadows or liner from “sprinkling” down on cheeks. Also, shadow has major staying power. LOVE IT!!

Really helps makeup stay better

Make sure to match silicone-silicone and water-water based products!
This is definitely as sticky as people have been saying, but it didn’t work well for me if I didn’t purposely choose a water based foundation to use it with.I used Revlon Colorstay and found that this caused it to separate after around 5 hours of wear, but when used with the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation, which is water based, I had no issues and my makeup lasted me all day.Many of the foundations that work for oily skin types are silicone based so if you have base products that already work for oily skin, I would say it’s not worth your while to purchase a primer that will require additional other purchases to use. For what it is, it’s a lovely and affordable product though!

Where has this been all my life!
I am a product junkie and I have been looking for something to keep my make up looking fresh all day and I have finally found it. I have used the top of the line products, spent so much at Sephora and nothing has really given me a 12 hour non melt makeup look. For a fraction of cost, I have finally found something that works. Maybe not for an older face . . .
First I will say that this primer does keep your makeup on. It’s sticky at first and not that easy to spread so you have to be quick. But, I am an older female and didn’t find the product the right one for my face. It made my face shiny and puffy – maybe that last was sensitivity. I thought I would appreciate the pink and the glow but that glow on me was really just too shiny. It also caused foundation to settle into lines more than usual. So, it didn’t do what it should for a face my age. That said, I think this product is probably good for someone younger if you can get past the initial sticky feeling. I also had no trouble returning,so I am giving this 4 stars based on the qualifications I mentioned. I do like Elf products so I will return to the Elf primer I was using before (Skin Suntouchable – which goes on very smooth and holds my makeup just fine).

Decided to try it
So my skin is 49 and I wanted to try a primer that actually might work to keep my makeup on my face because midday I’m a total mudslide and I’ve never been able to find a primer that really honestly Works truthfully let me tell you this one surprised me so it was worth writing the review it actually kept my makeup on my face and it did a beautiful job and it was so affordable I will definitely be repurchasing this again and again…… it lasted me a good 8 hours before I even needed to touch up which is saying a lot for me.

Great, inexpensive primer
I hadn’t use a primer before, but one of my students was studying this brand and raved about it. Now I know why. I don’t like to use foundation because it looks too heave, but using the primer in combination with concealer and powder created a nice, finished look. This won’t become part of my everyday routine, but it’s a great add when you want that extra-special look.

Great for sensitive skin and cystic prone skin
I love this primer, it feels super light and I forget I even have any on. It has a sticky finish when first applied and then drys very smooth. My foundation grips write on and is flawless all day. I’ve had issues with primers in the past making my skin feel heavy and my pores clogged, leaving my skin suffocated and irritated. I have none of those issues with this primer, plus can’t beat the price point! Yay elf!

Grip
Very affording while maintaining fair results. I have neutral oily skin, and this product keeps some moisture, but recommend moisturing face 1st with other product to keep from having dry appearance. On it’s own, some of my foundation does bleed onto my shirt collar.

First time trying- sticky and holds up to some extent
first time trying and it is ok, maybe a need better makeup products or setting spray. It is sticky and does make makeup stay for a bit but does not do well with powder products from my experience. does not dry out my skin. i recommend for the price.

This stuff is GOOD
Gosh, I just love elf products. The quality you get for the price is just amazing. I have oily oily skin. I’ve been looking for a primer that would keep me makeup in place for a long time. I found another one from a much more expensive brand that is ok but then I came across this and WOW. This makes my skin look fantastic- blurs imperfections, hides pores, keeps oil at bay, and keeps makeup in place. I’ve only used it a couple of times so far but I’m loving it so far.

Works well
I am new to primers, I have very sensitive mature skin that gets oily if I use the wring products. I found this primer sticky and hard to spread at first but i discovered if I pump a small amount into the palm of my hand and mix a drop or 2 of water it is easy to spread.Been using for several days now and I absolutely love it!! Yesterday a customer at work actually said I have beautiful skin. Nobody has ever said that to me in my life! Definitely will be a staple in my makeup kit from now on!!

Purchasing again!
I’m pretty new to the world of primers, but I bought some high-end $33 tube that was very soft and comfortable to put on. I just didn’t really notice much difference.This product however, I feel like it creates a barrier between the dirt in the outside world and my clean face. It also keeps the make up on through anything! I went and had a chair massage, where you put your face down into a paper towel and get your upper neck rubbed really hard which is pretty much stuff in your face in the paper towel, only to set up when it was done and have no make up on the paper towel!You don’t need much, I’m struggling with breakouts (so my make up is a bit heavy these days )so I use one full pump and I would never recommend more than that. It would feel like glue. But I’m really pleased with this product and this is one of three primers for the face that I have tried. No breakout issues.

Best primer out there!
I have tried so many primers and this is the only one that I LOVE on my aging skin. It’s slightly “tacky”, has a satin sheen, and truly holds onto your makeup without it settling into fine lines and wrinkles. I wait 2-3 minutes after applying my liquid foundation after putting on one pump of this. I am 48 and this is the only primer that has truly wowed me and you can’t beat the price. 100% recommend!

BELIEVE THE HYPE !!!
I have been trying to get this primer since it first came out but it was always sold out. Glad the hype is finally down, I was finally able to try it and let me tell you it IS WORTH THE HYPE! Best Primer for Face
This is absolutely the best face primer I’ve used. I have used it for full face, but daily, I really only use it on my forehead. It holds the foundation on all day, all night.It’s tacky when applied. I wait five minutes before applying foundation. I have Rosacea and extremely sensitive skin so I tested this for three days on my jawline before committing. No complaints! Great stuff!
