Works Fine, With Some Caveats
Overall, this united has been great for my purposes – I initially bought it for use outside with my projector, kept using it when I set my projector screen up in the basement in the winter, and recently moved it to my bedroom while quarantining during a COVID scare. Playback was crisp on multiple devices and it stood up well to being frequently unplugged and moved around.The longstanding negative is that the sensor is very persnickety, meaning the remote had to be pointed directly t the front of the player to work properly. The buttons are also, in my opinion, not laid out very logically as the various playback controls (skip chapter, fast forward, play/pause, stop) are spread out weirdly in ways that made me apt to press the wrong button unless I looked directly at the remote.And the thing that’s annoying me tonight: I’ve misplaced the remote. Not the manufacturer’s fault, obviously. Searched high and low, in drawers and under furniture, etc, no joy. Still not the manufacturer’s fault. OK, I’ll just buy a new remote and maybe it can be here tomorrow….nope. No Amazon listings, no information on the player’s very limited webpage, small Chinese brand so no universals list compatibility, nada. Buttons on the side of the player won’t allow for skipping trailers or maneuvering around menus. So now I’ve got to either completely tear my room apart looking for it or buy a whole new blu ray player.TL;DR: It works fine as a compact option, but spend the money for the name brand if you want any hope of replacement parts.

Repaired—YAY! Was: Stooped working after playing one DVD
Now repaired and running very smoothly. Plays all regions, Blu Ray, Regular DVD, CDs VCDs. Very glad it is working again even if it required repairing 🙂 [previously: Have not yet been able to figure out why. This DVD / Blu Ray player stopped responding to any commands after playing one DVD. It integrated into a complex system and almost impossible to reach.]

Does NOT work With Old TV… or any of my other devices
I happen to own a big box tv from 2000. My DVD player remote broke, and since I wanted a Blu-Ray player anyway I did some research and settled on this because it had the cables to connect to my old tv!Unfortunately, the only thing that worked when I attempted to use it was the sound; I couldn’t see anything. I thought if I could get it to play on any of my other devices- so I could at least watch the Blu-Rays I have- I would keep it.* I couldn’t attach it to my 2010 desktop (this was not surprising).* I attached it to my tablet that had all the correct outlets: it didn’t work.* My last hope: I attached it to my brand new laptop with all the correct outlets, and nothing worked there eitherI followed all the directions for setting it up on the devices I had as well as how to troubleshoot, but nothing worked. Since the only thing that worked was the sound when I plugged it into my 2 decade old television, I returned it. It’s a great price and comes with everything we need (other than the actual screen), but it’s a shame it didn’t work on any of my devices… especially the brand new ones.

Compact decent DVD/Blu-Ray player
We needed a DVD player with a small footprint and this fit the bill.It’s a bit odd that it doesn’t have a slide out tray but instead a lid that swings open, but other than that it works great. We have had no problems with the remote control as others have described nor have we needed to use the instructions.Ours is connected to a small (27″) TV so we have not pushed the limits of the picture quality.

Simple and concise design
It’s small and can easily fit into a back pack. Easy set up, just plug in power and HDMI and it’s good to go. Plays disc’s without the need of additional software. Sound and picture are good. It has a sturdy frame. It’s the perfect product if all you want to do is play disc’s and don’t want to have to connect to the internet.

I read several reviews about this products… that is my experience.. I am fanatic of the movies and bellow my comment about this product:The image: you are in the SETUP ( remote Control) some option to improve the image, but definitely is not higher improvement in the end picture, its ok for camping or one night outside in the garden with your projector if you are not fanatic of the Extreme QUALITY will be ok…. the DVD and Blue Ray image quality are similar in this equipment specially if you try to use with your projector ( not much difference in quality result for sharp, black deep, etc).Suggestion: try to use another HDMI cable ( non the HDMI that coming with the equipment with much better quality to improve a little big the frequency.Remote Control: The real situation with the remote control is not the plastic quality ( its ok for the price ), the big problem is the response when you try to use the commander ( buttons) do not working at the same time that you push the Botton and in many cases do not work properly ( Solution try to use a universal remote control or your TV OR CABLE remote control as option to use for this DVD Player)Conclusion : If you need a DVD player Portable for some times use, non excellent quality only good its fine ( if you like a excellent quality Picture you need to buy a home DVD/ Blue Ray player as Sony, LG, etc) but if you like to use this DVD/Blue Ray player as option for small room in the university, camping, etc and if your quality picture expectative its for Ok /good , this DVD /Blue Ray option is acceptable.

Worked Well for a few Months but it’s Staying in North Carolina
For my job, I have to travel a couple of times a month, so when I saw this, I instantly purchased it because it appeared to be the perfect size to fit in my bag without taking up too much space. It was well built and plain and simple, I really liked it. I could plug in the HDMI and power cord and watch blu rays, which was nice since you don’t always know if the hotel’s wifi is good enough to stream.Things went well for about 7-8 months. I used it probably a total of 20 times. 2-3 days out of the week while traveling. It never had an issue, until that 9th month. Now, it’s better off as a paperweight or door stop. I’ve tried 10 different discs, both blu ray and dvd. Not a single one works. It’ll make all the noises you can imagine, but it does not play. I’m sitting here in a hotel right now after trying to watch something and it’s frustrating.With closing, it’s nicely made overall. The remote control is not the greatest and you have to aim it perfectly to get it to perform the action, but it’s not awful. Outside of those, I don’t know that you’ll get much out of it beyond a few months. I’m likely going to leave it in the hotel room garage can and end up buying a bigger player that will hopefully last a while longer than a few months.

Great Picture Quality
I was hesitant for several weeks before I decided to take a chance to purchase this for a travel Blu-ray player. so when I hoked it up to test it, I was shocked that such a small compact device at such a low price could deliver a good picture to use in hotels when traveling. I chose the best test Blu-ray that had a lot of vibrant colors (Avatar) and was amazed that the picture and sound was just a good as the expensive large player that I have hooked up to my TV. You can not ask for a better picture and sound form any Blu-ray player and for such a low price. As a retired Navy Officer, when something is great, we say “BZ”.

Compact, Simple, easy
The media could not be loaded.
I have been having so much trouble getting a Blue Ray PC drive to work on my computer. I decided to use the DiDar with a video capture card, and there we go. Some films can’t be streamed legally, and I want the blue ray quality. This has fixed my problem for the same price. I have little table space on my desk, and this is a little larger than an external PC disk DVD drive, so it works out just as I wanted. The playback quality is good and the device is quiet. You could use this is a home theater, but it may not have all the features you might find in a Sony player. The simplicity is so nice.

Nice to get just a player
This is great.No “Smart” anything, no WIFI needed.It just plays DVDs & BD.My TV is “smart”.My Dish is “smart”.I wanted just a disc player and this is it, on top of that, the disc tray is spring loaded, no stuck discs anymore.Only complaint is the remote really has to be pushed, beyond where you would normally stop.

Quiet and tiny
I purchased this for the size, as I’ll be moving to a travel trailer soon. I tested it out with DVD and blu-ray. The only hiccup I noticed was that the menu didn’t show up on the blu ray, but maybe Gran Torino doesn’t have one. ??This unit is whisper quiet! I really expected noise, why I don’t know.Yes, the remote is small, but not much smaller than my old vizio remote. I don’t have petite hands, and I’m able to find and press the buttons just fine. It is a bit quirky, though. It turns on and changes the modes on my fairy lights. LOLOverall, I’m very happy with it and I hope I get the $90 worth out of it.

This is a nice size compact DVD Blu-ray player. Just received so we’ll have to use it before doing a final review. Instructions say to do a review and then go to their website to apply a 12-month warranty but going to their website there was no place noticeable to register for a warranty that I could see. Sent them an email.Update: watched two videos, One Blu-Ray and one DVD movies and worked flawlessly. Also played a DVD data disc with MP3 music and worked great! The small size is just what I was looking for as I intend to use it with a LED projector. The seller responded to my email and process the 12-month warranty he said.

This Is Not It

Bought this because I get screeners every year during awards season and I don’t always want to sit on the couch in the living room to wach them. Wanted something small that I could potentially mount to the back of my tv. I’m usually sent DVD’s but I also have Blu-Rays I’d like to play. After some frustrating setup, the DVD’s don’t play but the Blu-Ray does. Picture quality is ok. What you see in the video and photo is a 2021 Samsung 4k model.The remote is a plastic piece of crap and the device is slightly noisy, which you can hear in the video. While picture is playing at a relatively full volume, it’s not that noticeable. All in all, for $100 (or close), this is not worth the money. I’ll either go back to the $40 DVD player I had originally bought or pay more for something that works better. And for the person that left the review stating you could mount this to the back fo your tv and have the remote communicate with it, I highly doubt that was real. If the remote doesn’t point directly at the sensor, it does not communicate. Also, the top has to fully open to put the disc in.This is not it.

Very good to travel
I bought this to watch my movies when I travel, very good size compared to my Sony one!!!… I installed it as soon as I received it due someone stated on a review that it doesn’t play a good sound!!! I don’t have a big time tv and the volume is good!!,, is normal!!!.. I’m very happy with it!!!… When is playing the blue Ray it make a little noise but not a big deal!!! I don’t pay any attention to it,, is just something that called my attention… I recommend it… I’m going on a trip in a couple of months, I’m going to try to use it as much as I can just to test it… if you look for something very portable,, do not think twice!!!!.

…but it’s working great and a super deal for the price. If you already have a smart tv, why would you need to spend twice as much or more for a simple bluray player? I guess I wouldn’t be satisfied if I was watching multiple movies in a row (simple flip-up and insert mechanism).

This is one of my better buys on Amazon. Took a few weeks to get this little Blue Ray DVD player in the mail, but worth it in the end.I bought this ’cause Internet was broke for a while and I do enjoy watching TV and falling asleep. I don’t want to be in a situation again without Internet for two weeks and unable to stream. If it happens ever again, I’ll watch DVDs.This DVD player came with HDMI and RGB cables. Nice!The remote is much more sophisticated/complicated than I would like, but pressing the power and play buttons is easy enough. Don’t need to use all the other buttons/features.Tested a Blue Ray DVD/movie and it worked.Overall, very pleased with this portable DVD player and would recommend it.

Very Good Basic DVD/Blu-Ray Player
I have an extensive DVD collection and just want to play them. Most DVD players are now coming with so many bells-and-whisles that playing a DVD is a task in itself. I do not want all of their ‘extras.’ They just make playing a DVD that much harder. I purchased a Tojock DVD player almost a year ago. It works great. And, it is a basic unit. I pluged it in and starting playing DVD’s immediately. The perfect basic unit that does what is says. Obviously, I am a person who wants units that do one thing and does that one thing very well. This unit fulfilled that promise.I have started upgrading my collection to Blu-ray discs. To keep the simplicity, I obtained this DVD/Blu-Ray player (the DiDor Mini DVD Player, Blu-Ray HD DVD Player). I got the player today. Only took a few minutes to set up (unpackage and collect the cables). Played a Blu-Ray immediately. Looks great and works great. Later, I played a DVD. Also, worked great. The unit is not noisey. And, with its small size, it fits most anywhere. It does have other features, but I do not intend to use them.

A few weeks ago we took our fifth wheel out for the weekend. It was cold and rainy but we just love getting away. I grabbed several DVDs and figured that if it got too bad we would just relax and watch reruns of movies we had seen before. Imagine my surprise when I brought out the DVDs and they were all blue rays. The problem is the DVD player in my fifth wheel does not play Blu-ray. I was telling my friend about what had happened and he chuckled and said that the same thing that happened to him. He purchased one of these Blue ray players and was extremely happy with it. I ordered mine this week and it arrived in one day from Amazon. I went out today and the hook up was very easy. I used the HDMI cables and the picture and sound is excellent. I will not get stuck again with Blu-ray discs when I can’t watch them.

Finally a 12v that works
Limited outlets in RV, been looking for a 12v solution for a long time without have to home build a power converter an all that. All I had to do was get a car cigarette lighter cable cut the end off included cable and wire it it together. After it worked, I remade the cable with heat shrink etc. to clean it up and make it look nice. Device was light enough to Velcro to back of TV. Easy solution to my problem with lack of 12v blu-ray options.

Does The Trick For Wall Mount TVs
Bought because I wanted a lightweight solution to attach to the back of my wall mounted TV in my bedroom using velcro/double sided tape. It really is a perfect solution except for the remote. Not only are the buttons incredibly small, but trying to figure it out in the dark or without glasses is a nightmare. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to restart a movie from the beginning, navigate through the menu, turn on subtitles, etc only to hit the wrong button and end up at square one again. I will look for the simplest learning remote I can find because quite frankly, the player itself is worth it IF you’re looking for a lightweight mountable bluray player. It really does do the job.

Great for our motorhome!

We bought this for our motorhome. It’s great! It’s small and light weight. The unit runs off 12 volts but comes with an AC adapter. We purchased a separate 12 volt power cord to run it off the RV battery. The top mechanically opens giving access to the disks, so it’s less likely we’ll lose one if the unit stops working. We only use it for Blu-ray and DVDs and it does the job. I wish it came with the 12 volt power cable as well as the AC adapter – but it’s only about $10 to buy one separately. You do need to give clearance for the top to open – so it won’t sit well if the shelf has little height. We’ll see how it holds up to life on the road.

Mine played a region B bluray disc…sort of.
Worked a charm right out of the box with our US and UK DVDs. Just for giggles we tried a pure Region B bluray (Disney Fantasia) and to my surprise it worked even though manufacturers say it won’t play B or C! Unfortunately this was a fluke or misprint on the BluRay. Tried a couple other BluRay, one Region B and it didn’t work and one had no region and worked fine.Shame its not multi region Bluray too as thus would make it an absolute must buy, but still a nice small footprint and works well. Bit noisy when it starts up but not once its playing.

I was looking for a Blu-ray player that was compact and easy to use for my bedroom setup. I needed something that wasn’t going to take up a lot of space or make things look more cluttered and this was a perfect option! After seeing some videos and reading some of the reviews, and also just the pictures themselves from other satisfied customers I decided on this Blu-ray player and I can’t express how happy I am with it. It does what it’s supposed to and it does it pretty well. I’m extremely happy with the image quality and the ease of use and I’ve already recommended it to anyone I know who’s been looking for a new Blu-ray or DVD player. Tried with multiple discs, and it worked fine except for the volume. I turned up my soundbar all the way and the volume was still just okay.

Perfect for a car Only… No Break point
This thing is so compact you can fit it in your glove box or your armrest as long as they’re deep enough and as long as you hide the wires as best you can like I did. I used this with a top mount monitor upgrade for my 2006 Sienna. Now, My only complaint with this particular Blu-ray player is that it will not start movies from where you left off you will have to go and choose the chapters every time you start up the vehicle. Other than that this thing is perfect. This company does sell a $99 one on here with the break point feature. I will be upgrading to that.

Works great as a tiny DVD player. Especially in an RV.
I bought this for my travel trailer. Key factors were that it is small, lightweight, and has HDMI output. It works great for my purposes. I like that the remote control has a Subtitle button. My wife and I keep subtitles on and this way we do not have to search the menu for Subtitles. If you stop the movie it remembers where you stopped at, so when you restart you do not have to search.The picture and sound are very good. I don’t know the tech specs of my setup but it works great for me.This is used in an RV. If you are looking for a home player you might want to get one that has an Eject button. This has a lid that you open by pushing a button on the player. The DVD sits inside the player on a spindle like a DVD case. Not quite as convenient as an Eject button and tray that slides in and out. But for my usage I am very satisfied with how it works.

I needed a small dvd player and I found this one the size is great the picture quality very good but the remote control doesn’t have much range and I need to point it closer to the advs player so it works

Small compact easy to use.
I purchased this to keep in my travel trailer while camping. It is very small compact and stores out of the way. Comes with both HDMI cord and RGB cord. The remote seems a little bit cheap and plastic and you have to aim it directly at the DVD player.

The player works great but the remote is of IR type and, regrettably only works with direct line-of-site alignment.

Stopped working after 6 months minimal use
Though it seems like a good buy, it stopped turning on after 6 months of very light use. UPDATE the company sent out a replacement. Great customer service.

Works perfect as a low cost portable player
This is a low cost solution. Both the player and remote feel like a lower level of quality than a DVD player you may have bought 10 years ago but the product worked perfectly and did exactly as advertised. I dont need to watch DVD or BluRay very often so it was nice to find a small and inexpensive option to fill that void.
