Does not work
I tried to connect this to my fire TV and it would not show up. I tried various ways of connecting it, and nothing worked. I had a CD or DVD inside of it and took it out and it kind of rattled around inside. I’m not sure if this was made very well. I wanted to return it but my printer isn’t working and I will have to throw it away. I cannot donate it because I believe it is not working or is unworkable.

Very Nice
I needed a replacement DVD player that had an HDMI hook up after I bought a new UHD TV. My wife mainly uses it with exercise videos and we watch an occasional older movie. This one has a nice combination of features, very nice picture quality, competitive price and easy to set up. The remote works as it is supposed to

Bought this I received DVD gifts that were out of the region. So I bought to watch DVDs it works decently, control works ease. The only thing I do not like when using repeat function it stay on the screen, I do not how remove or if it can be removed.

MP3 player?
I purchased this to use with a stereo system to play DVDs and USB sticks both in MP3 format. The player said it loaded, but then it didn’t respond to the play or number keys. It did play the audio on commercial U.S. and other region movie DVDs.Amazon sent me a second to try, but that one didn’t play MP3 formatted DVDs or flash drives either. I contacted the seller, who asked me how my speakers were connected! That was the last I heard from the seller.I might recommend this for commercial (movie) DVDs: but I wonder if others have had the same problem with MP3 formatted sources.

Should have kept them.
I mistakenly thought these did not play mp4s because the packaging and instruction booklet did not include that format. That’s the whole reason I bought them. I didn’t plug one in to see I just sent them back. I was informed that they do accept that format. Great pricing. Wish I had kept them.

At first I could not figure out how to turn it on or make it function. The remote was confusing, as was the fact as to what functions I needed to turn on in my TV, and I was about to return it, but when I got it sorted out, it is a very good compact player.

Acheté en remplacement d’un lecteur défectueux. Malheureusement, je suis déçue de mon achat et pense sérieusement à le retourner pour commander un lecteur de meilleur qualité. Chaque fois que j’appuie sur une touche du télécommande, il faut laisser le temps à l’appareil de faire la manœuvre. Aussi, il faut absolument pointer le télécommande directement sur l’œil récepteur du lecteur, sinon, la commande ne fonctionne pas .De plus, les instructions en français ne sont pas traduites en leur totalité. Par exemple, le tableau des problèmes et résolutions est en espagnol (ou autre langue semblable), il en est de même pour quelques autres fonctionnalités. C’est un article qui peut être bon à acheter pour quelqu’un qui n’a vraiment pas les moyens de payer plus cher, mais vous devez être patients !

Broken when I got it
The drawer where you put the CD or the DVD was broken when I got it. It might be a great little DVD player but I would never know since I never actually got to use it because it was broken. I mostly wanted to use it as a CD player for my audiobooks since it played that format. For the price I wish it really had worked.

It plays all DVDs I have from any regions.Only bad thing about this unit is that it turns on when you plug it to the power outlet. Because I connected it to a power bar, I have to turn if off every time I turn the power bar on.

Je dirais que le dvd fonctionne bien, mais j’enlève une étoile à cause de l’odeur de la télécommande. C’est vraiment intense, ça fait des semaines et ça sent encore aussi fort. Tout ce qu’elle touche sent le plastique, c’est affreux.

The remote does NOT work.
The remote does not work. I used brand new batteries. Tried 2 different sets. I bought this for my 80 year old father and was very disappointed. I would not buy as there is no way to reach the company. I am very disappointed. I am a few days past the return window. I didn’t try it when it arrived. My mistake. So it is a total loss.

Terrible
Ok so it plays the DVD. The remote is useless. The unit shuts off randomly. The drawer that holds the dvd sticks. If you fast forward you’ll miss the whole movie. Cannot change closed caption off of Spanish. I could go on but honestly this is just a terrible player.

Their title is misleading…no mp4 capability
It’s a nice and straightforward system but unfortunately the title on the listing is incorrect. This does not play mp4. It will recognize there is a file there but not play it. Instead it will say “unsupported format”.

Deceiving description
I bought it since it was said it was accepting all zones, but it does not. It shows only American and Canadian DVDs, and does not show hundreds of European films that I have in my collection. It was too late to return when I realized it. Feel like I was cheated.

I must have got a defective one
My DVD player died during prime days so I bought this DVD player as a replacement. I must have gotten a bad one because the DVD player is so loud when it’s playing I have to turn the volume up super high to drown out the DVD player. I’m not sure if the internal fan is blown or what but I only used it one time due to the noise. I am so bummed that I missed the return window on this so in the garbage it goes.

Broken in a month

Difficulty with picture freezing
The first disc I played froze about half way through. I thought it may be the disc. After I tried at least a dozen other discs the problem continued. Each disc’s picture froze at least once and that made me believe it wasn’t the discs. The remote had small buttons and oddly placed. I returned it. If it was that bad out of the box it wasn’t likely to improve.

Great compact DVD player. Good price point. I didn’t want to buy something very expensive, because it is for the old 2nd TV. Player works well with my older dvd movies and TV series.Picture quality is good.Easy set up. Easy to use. Remote buttons are tiny, but you get use to it.I looked at all kinds of models, but settled for this one. The reviews were good, and one review mentioned that the dvd player had no problem playing older dvds….sold!

Finally got around to writing this. Remote didn’t work out of the boxEdit (April 27 2023) – Just want to note the seller reached out and sent a replacement remote. Unfortunately, it didn’t work either. Added a star in recognition of their attempt to correct the issue.Edit May 15 2023 – Dealer sent a replacement unit and everything works great. Really suprised by the quality of customer service.
