Can’t Hear Anything Except my Music

I was shocked how quiet everything got when I first put these on and turned them on. Even without playing any music it was perfect silence around me. After starting up my electronic playlist it felt like I was transported into a high quality sound concert. It truly provides an immersive listening experience as all outside sound and distractions disappear. The quality is so crisp and the headphones themselves are very comfortable over the ears.It was really easy to get these setup and start using them. I opened them up, used the provided charging cord, charged them up, turned them on and connected to Bluetooth. Super easy! They also come with an auxiliary cord if you happen to not have or don’t want to use Bluetooth. There is also a Bose app that you can install to customize and fine tune your headphones for the best listening experience. These headphones have elevated my music listening to a whole new level. I’m really excited to use these the next time I fly on a plane, or go anywhere that I want to cancel out the surrounding noise and enjoy my music. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and high quality listening experience

    My New Favorite Headphones

I’ve been using BOSE SoundSport Free Wireless earbuds, however, they are in-ear headphones so my ears tend to hurt after hours. The BOSE QuietComfort Ultra, the over-ear headphones, eliminates this issue for me.As a non-professional, the sound quality is excellent, especially the Immersion Mode. It provides a feeling of being in a live setting. The sound surrounds my entire head, not just my ears. I use the Motion setting, and the music adjusts with my head movements which is creating a 360-degree immersive experience with my favorite tunes. The headphone controls are straightforward. I use both an iPhone and a Google Pixel phone. The headphones respond promptly when switching between these two different devices. The Aware mode is fantastic. Even with the headphones on, I can still be aware of my surroundings. When I take off the headphones, they automatically pause the music. When I put them back on, they resume playback. This is a very user-friendly feature.Overall, I am very pleased with my new headphones.

    Best Headphones I’ve Ever Had!

Oh my God I’m so in love I found you finally! The Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones are so comfortable around my ears with truly amazing sound quality. I’ve had so many earbuds and headphones nothing compares to these headphones with comfort and sound quality. Bose does an excellent quality when it comes to sound, I have there system in my car and I’ve had there soundsport earbuds. The QuietComfort Ultra headphones battery life good as well, with all day usage. No need to charge every day. The Bose QuitComfort Ultra headphone case is good to, wish was a hard case. The only gripe I have and it may be fixed in the future with updates, if I can play the headphones over usb type c. I definitely recommend the Bose QuiteComfort Ultra Headphones even though the price is high.

The comfiest pair of headphones I’ve ever owned.

As someone who requires noise cancelling headphones for work, this was absolutely worth the money. It’s comfy and I can wear it for extended periods of time unlike other headphones or even AirPods which get uncomfortable for me after a short period. Moreover, the sound quality is seriously amazing, it’s easy to connect, and connects to both my iPad and my iPhone with an easy switch feature in the app! Couldn’t be happier with the product and quality.

    Love these headphones

I am in love with my Bose Ultra Headphones, they are the best! The sound quality is superior to my other headphones, its like its HD, so clear and the bass is booming. They are really comfortable, i can wear them for hours and they feel great. the band is easily adjustable and they fold down to fit in the included compact case. The noise cancelling is great, it really cuts down on noise so you can hear your music without blasting the volume. Can’t wait to take these on my next flight. The build quality is great and the battery lasts forever, they should last many years. These are easily my favorite headphones right now.

    Call quality and durability

Use these for my lawn care business. Absolutely love these when I get calls. I don’t have to stop at all or idle my equipment down it cancels all that so all the person hears on the phone is me. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

A worthy upgrade. Love the new immersive mode! Build quality is excellent and although volume control is better than before, it’s still not as good as on the competition.

  8. Better than the Sony WH5s.

    Better than the Sony WH5s.

I’ve been a big Sony fan for a long time and decided to give these a try. I’m going to be throwing my old pair of Sony’s up on eBay I think, the immersive audio sounds great with people’s vocals in songs, and I have to say that I can wear these for over 8 hours and the headband does not hurt the top of my head like most over the ear headphones do. The sound quality in my opinion is just a bit better than the Sonys even. I can’t really describe how, I just feel like the music is a little bit punchier.I recommend these based on the comfort of the fit alone, I don’t think I’ve ever been able to wear over the year headphones this long. I might need to give the new earbuds a try as well.

The anc is incredible. Sound quality is good. Range is great. My only real complaint is that they are too tight. After a while it starts to cause some pain and discomfort

    Highly recommend

These Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones came packaged in an aesthetically pleasing box. They had the right amount of packaging to ensure that there was no damage prior to delivery. The fit and finish is excellent and the ear cup accommodates appropriately. Once emersed into the listening environment, the noise cancelling creates a crisp audio delivery. Both highs and lows deliver a well rounded tone. I was able to test these on a flight across the country and they provided a distraction free listening environment. This is my second pair of Bose headphones and I have not been let down.

    Not a fan

I’ve been a long time Bose QC user. 15 25 35II and 45, And this is my least favorite since the qc15. Don’t get me wrong audio and noise cancellation are excellent. But usability is not as good as 35 and 45. The auto on off did not work well for me. I couldn’t tell if it was on and the button is hard to find while on my head. It would show connected on my iPhone but calls were not coming through headphones. Had to disconnect and reconnect to solve. Never had this issue with previous models.Battery life. My 35’s would literally last 30 -40 hours or more. These Ultras only lasted about 10-12. Seems like I got a bad battery but that’s what I experienced. Also audible battery status didn’t match what the app said. Audio would say 50% while looking at the connected app which read 40%.Finally volume slider. The tactile buttons found on older models has been replaced by a touch slider on the right ear cup. I wasn’t a fan. It’s too difficult to find and adjust smoothly for me and often when adjusting the cups for comfort after wearing for a few hours I would inadvertently move or silence volume. Granted I probably would have gotten used to it over time, but after 40+ hours of use I’ve decided to return them and go back to my 45’s which in my opinion are very comparable in sound and noise canceling and superior in usability.

    I’ll never fly without them

Here’s a quick and easy test of the noise reduction you can do on your own at home. YouTube is full of videos of jet noise or brown noise— pick one, crank it up on your TV purely as a noise source, simulating the noise you would experience inflight, and swap between these headphones and your old ones. Both reduce the engine noise but… My old ones are Bose QC35 and they’ve been my faithful companion on dozens of flights. But not now. The ultra is much better and the difference is stark when you go back-and-forth between the two. Buy a set, do this little experiment and you will not be returning them.Mine were a little stiff when I first got them, and apparently others have had the same problem. But leaving them stretched out over the box. They came in has done a nice job of reducing the clamping force. The earcups are a little bigger than the old QC 35s and that makes it even better.

    advanced and enhanced headphones

Mind blowing sound quality. The sound of these headphones are on a new level. They definitely beat my QC35’s.Would recommend for those who want premium sound. This is like you are in the movie theater, and sometimes like you have speakers in front of you, depending which mode setting you choose.Great delivery, no problems. Thank you!

    Little Tight on the Head

Love the quality. Only one weakness. OIf you’ve got a larger than average size head, the thing is much to tight over top of head. Band only extends out minimally.

    The best just got better

These headphones are an excellent choice for anyone looking for high-quality noise-canceling headphones. They offer exceptional sound quality, with clear highs and deep, rich bass. The noise-canceling feature is also top-notch, blocking out even the loudest of noises. The headphones are also very comfortable to wear, with a lightweight design that makes them easy to wear for extended periods of time. The battery life is also impressive, lasting up to 24 hours on a single charge. One of the standout features of these headphones is the Immersive Audio technology. This feature creates a more immersive listening experience by simulating a 3D audio environment. The effect is quite impressive, and it really adds to the overall listening experience. Another great feature of these headphones is the aptX Adaptive support. This technology ensures that the audio quality remains consistent even when streaming over Bluetooth. This means that you can enjoy high-quality audio even when you’re on the go with technology usually only found in high end static audio listening devices. With the stylish, sleek and modern design these look great in any setting as well. Overall, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a high-quality pair of noise-canceling headphones that deliver excellent sound quality, comfort, and style.

Definitely an upgrade from the QuietComfort 35/45

So the QuietComfort Ultra is an upgrade from the QuietComfort 35. Its nice that it now has an active sound function where the sound coming through the headphones turn based on the orientation of your head. Additionally, the touch sensor for turning up the sound is an upgrade that make the headphones easier to use. One thing I don’t like is that the play/pause and skip button is all the same. So I would need to press a certain number of times in order to use that function. The biggest and best upgrade to the headphones is the increase in the overall battery life. Overall I would still recommend this product to a friend.

    Awesome Sound

I just received my Bose Ultra Headphones and have not (literally) taken them off. I have owned many regular and noise-cancellation headphones, and these are the best ones I have owned by far. The noise cancellation is the best I have experienced. I have gone through all the different modes and they all sound great. However, I am really impressed with the immersion mode. This mode is out of this world. The sound is crystal clear, and it seems it is coming internally through your head. The different immersion modes: off, still, and in motion all sound great but the “in motion” mode follows you as you move. It is hard to explain but I can summarize it as being awesome. I can recommend these headphones over any previous ones I owned including older Bose models. This is worth upgrading to if you have an older model. I have been using them during my music practices and they sound great!

A great successor for my QC 35

I’ve had the QC35 for years now and it’s always been my go-to headset. For all-around purposes, the QC35 was the best for both music, conference calls and phone calls. I have a pair of Sony MX3’s that I use for music since it has a little more bass to them than the QC35 but, overall, the QC35 was my favorite. That said, it’s almost been 4 years now and it’s starting to show some wear and slowly dying on me. Time for a new headset so I went for this new QC Ultra and I’m more than satisfied with this one.Music wise, it’s better than my Sonys. I did have to tinker around with the EQ a bit but I did manage to get a setting that I really like so I may just need to retire my Sonys too. For conference/phone calls, this thing is great. Easy to pair with my home/work laptops and sound and voice clarity is crystal clear. The big thing was the updated ANC. It’s much better than the QC35 and the immersion setting it fantastic. Really makes the sound come through clear without any weird distortions or anything.Fit/form, these actually fit a little better than the Qc35s did. They’re a big more snug, in a good way, and don’t get as loose as the QC35 did. The older style buttons have been replaced with more streamlined buttons and there is a volume slider neatly integrated behind the right ear cup. Battery life is supposed to be around 24 hours but we’ll see how that goes.Overall though, a really nice upgrade from the QC35. I will miss those headphones but this is a great successor to those hands down.

    Amazing!

I’m a student using these as my everyday headphones. I’m sure they don’t compare to audiophile headphones, but as just a regular consumer these headphones have been amazing! The noise cancellation is incredible. I do get some wind noise while using them outside, but indoors they’re the best noise cancellation I’ve ever had on wireless headphones. They can fold flat, but not in half, which does give them a bigger footprint technically, but the case is so flat I never have a problem fitting it in my bag. I almost never take my headphones out of noise cancellation mode and use them very heavily and have never had them die on me. I think saying they have 16-20hrs battery life is pretty accurate.I am a little concerned with the hinges as they feel a little fragile to me. If you are careful with your headphones it doesn’t feel like they’re going to break, but if you’re someone who’s going to put them in a bag without a case or something like that I’d be a little concerned. It’s also worth noting that I can see these things getting REALLY frustrating if you try to use them without the bose app. With the app, they’re great, but trying to change between my MacBook, iPad, and phone without going into the app is near impossible because the headphones can only maintain consistent Bluetooth connection to two devices.

    Unmatched Noise-Cancellation and Sonic Bliss

The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones are a game-changer. As an avid music enthusiast, frequent traveler, and love of movies in a loud and busy household, these headphones have improved my audio experiences in ways I never knew were possible.First and foremost, the noise cancellation is unparalleled. The moment you put these on, the outside world fades away. However, it still offers the ability to be aware of your surroundings when needed without stoping your audio. I’ll be honest, I thought that spatial audio may be more of a marketing gimmick, but it is incredible. Especially when watching movies, when you turn your head, the sound moves with you providing the feeling of being immersed in the moment.Comfort is another standout feature. In my use case, I am wearing the headphones for prolonged periods of time, and most of the time you almost forget you have them on. However, the new head-on detection is really cool. The moment you slip the headphone of your ear, your entertainment pauses, and then when it is back in place, your entertainment seamlessly starts back up.If you are traveling you don’t need to worry about the headphones going out on you, because the battery life is incredible. As with all Bose products the craftmanship and quality is top-notch. I have been hesitant to purchase Bose headphones in the past because I just didn’t think that I would be able to tell enough of a difference. I was wrong.Overall, you will not be disappointed with these headphones, the only minor issues that I have run into are the fact that Bose utilizes two different apps to control their devices, so I was previously using Bose Connect, and the headphones require Bose Music. And although you don’t really need the app once you have set them up, it would be nice to have that experience streamlined. I have also noticed that sometimes a new blue-tooth pairing can be a little finicky, but overall is very good.I am beyond excited to have these headphones, and it has added so much to my entertainment enjoyment.

    The Best of the Best!

I purchased the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones from Amazon and am very impressed! Bose has always been at the top of list for the best headphones and these do not disappoint! First off, they are very light and comfortable. The ear cups feel large and the speakers are angled in the headphones to give your ears plenty of space and direct the sound into them. Downloading the Bose Music App allows you to control the settings. One thing I love is the ability to connect two devices via Bluetooth at the same time. For example, you can connect the app on your phone and an iPod or speaker at the same time and control them both. The headphones have three modes: Quiet Mode, Aware Mode, and Immersive Audio Mode. Quiet Mode gives the most noise reduction, and even with a fan or air conditioner running nearby is impressively quiet. Aware Mode allows you to hear what is going on around you and still hear the music. The newest mode and what makes the Ultra headphones unique is the spatial audio feature called Immersive Audio. This mode plays the music as if it is coming from in front of you. You can choose one of two modes: Still Mode for sitting still and Motion Mode for walking or moving around. In Still Mode, the music is always only in front of you so if you turn your head, you hear it out of only one ear cup and vice versa when you turn your head the other way. In Motion Mode, the music is always in front of you so as you turn your head, it moves to stay in front of you. This is by far my new favorite mode.As far as controls, the Ultra headphones only have two buttons and a volume slider on the right ear cup. These control the Bluetooth connection and pause, skip forward, or skip backward. The volume slider is a unique feature that It is located on the right earcup and by sliding your finger along it can raise and lower the volume. I like the idea, but it does not always work well for me. You can also customize the slider so that by tapping it, the headphones will tell you how much battery life is left. Removing the headphones pauses the music and putting them back on resumes it. You can also set the duration for how long until they power off in the Bose Music App.I do think the price point is a little high for the segment; but overall, I really do like these new Ultra headphones and highly recommend them!

    My New Fav!!!

Only used for a few days but higher impressed already. First thing is that the sound is amazing! First pair of Bose headphones so my comparisons are with my previous Sony XM4s and my brief try of Airpods Max from my friend. Noise cancellation is amazing and I say slightly better than Sony but again this is the XM4 I used not the new XM5 so I had less of that white noise swoosh sound used in that mode. Transparency also impressive sounding natural and again a step above Sony but still believe Apple leads in both features. Now sound yes like the ability to custom EQ and played around for the sound and like it but Sony does have more presets and EQ bands and bass adjustments so wish Bose had more of that but still got the sound that worked for me. The headphones are also comfortable but wish they extended the headband just a little more and slightly bigger earcups but over a few days just had to break them in for my ears and get used to wearing them. Also great that they fold and the nice case and the new XM5 doesn’t fold and bigger case so that’s why I didn’t upgrade from XM4. Another con is wired mode has to be with headphones on with battery so that’s sort of new with wired supposed to work without power as backup. These still are now my main headphones and will for years but again updates for more EQ settings would be nice.

    Excellent Headphones

These headphones replaced an older Sony set. The Bose noise cancellation is excellent and battery life has been excellent also. You do need to be aware that in order to change settings (at least to my knowledge) the headphones must be paired to the Bose app for your phone. The defaults for on off and other settings to my knowledge, cannot be changed any other way. If you change them, as I did, to manual rather than automatic on and off, then you will need to get used to the way the buttons on the headphones work. Long press to turn on (but not too long as that then triggers BT pairing) and slightly shorter to turn off. This takes some time to figure out as there is a slight delay after the button is pressed before it turns on or off.

They’re Bose. What’s not to like?

I’ve only had them for a few minutes, and I already love these headphones! I use them for listening to music, and as a side benefit I find that they have an excellent built-in stereo microphone. I’m using it right now, so I can dictate using Dragon NaturallySpeaking. I am using it to write this review. The headphones are of the “over ear” variety, which means that they cover the entire ear. This might be a problem for some purposes, but for my purpose it’s excellent. I will be using these at home for work, and for listening to music. Needless to say, they have excellent sound. They’re Bose, right? They do not come with one of those funny little proprietary Bluetooth adapters, so I presume that they will work with just about any Bluetooth phone, radio, television, media player. They are light and comfortable. I haven’t had the chance yet to test the noise canceling feature. I suspect that these have several whizbang features that I haven’t even read about yet. I will just assume for now that whatever those features are, they are going to function perfectly and I’m going to love them.

    Terrific upgrade

Firstly, I am a huge fan of the Bose Quiet Comfort series. I’ve had 2 pairs of the QC35s and my wife’s daily headphones have been the QC45s. When the QC Ultras were released, I knew I had to try them. Set up: Set up was super easy through the Bose Music app. It took around 30 seconds to find and pair these headphones with my phone and levels and volume were easily adjustable through the app. Ease of use: The volume buttons have been replaced with a touch bar. You swipe up and down to control the volume. You can also long hold on the sound control bar for custom controls. There are still 2 physical buttons that offers quick controls to play/pause music, fast forward/rewind, and pickup/hang up calls. The power switch has been removed. Instead the headphones will power on and off automatically. Updates: The headphone has a USB C port for charging. Each charge lasts 24 hours. The bluetooth range feels like it’s stronger than my QC35s. I can walk around the house without bringing my phone with me and my music and calls did not drop or become choppy. There is also no more need to turn the headphones on and off. The headphones turn off when they’re not on my head and then powers all the off after 24 hours. Overall: I am extremely happy with these headphones and would recommend them to all my friends and family.

    Bose knows music.

Bose has some of the best well rounded sound and premium build quality. Build quality: I have accidentally dropped these headphones several times and they still look as good as new, thanks to the metal used to hold the ear cups and head size adjustments. Sound quality: I like, no I love bass but not at the expense of losing the highs, I like to be able to hear all the instruments in a track not just the bass. The immersive audio is a pretty cool feature works well when walking the streets of NYC because the sound is affected by where you turn your head. Noise cancelation is good but not great, if you are ridding down a cobble stone road noise cancelation process doesn’t know what to do. Overall I would recommend to family and friends if they are looking for a premium sound.

    My favorite headphones

I’ll start by saying I’m coming from an older model Bose Quiet Comfort 25. I know, I know. Its a 9+ year old pair of headphones. Its worked great all this time and didn’t feel the need to upgrade. Well let me tell you, now that I own the new QC Ultra Headphones, I’m so glad I made the upgrade. The sound quality and noise cancellation is light years ahead of the QC25 and QC35 (I’ve used a pair on a transatlantic flight). The new Ultra doesn’t disappoint. The battery life is amazing (up to 24 hours)! A new feature with the Ultra is called Immersion mode. I can EASILY tell a difference– off feels like you’re listening through headphones and on feels like you’re actually in a room with the music. After testing with multiple music sources, I can honestly say I think its far more than just a gimmick. The controls are very simple to use. Its really only one button on the side to control play/pause, next, previous, etc. The volume is controlled by sliding your finger over a smooth ridge and is easy to find and use. The real test, in my opinion, comes does to comfort. It doesn’t matter how great the features are, if the headphones aren’t comfortable, you wont use them. I’ve used these non-stop on a 3 hour flight so far and I felt like I could have easily worn them far longer. If I had to have one gripe about these it would be they only fit in the carrying case one way. Bose does include a diagram attached in the case and I think once I take them in and out more I’ll get used to putting them in the correct way each time. I’d 100% recommend these without question to anyone looking for a high quality pair of noise cancelling headphones.

    Top of the line

I needed some quality headphones for a few different reasons. I road trip a lot with children and needed some quiet time to get some work done, and my husband works in an office where he is constantly doing virtual meetings. These headphones have made both of these things a huge upgrade! The different modes are helpful as well. In the car I had on “aware” mode and was able to hear if my kids were asking me for something but could not hear that my husband had some music playing on the radio pretty loud. So crazy how you can hear one thing but it completely blocks out another!I wanted to learn more about the immersion mode so I downloaded the app. I usually don’t like downloading an app for every product I have, but the demo was so useful and it explained how immersion mode works and OH MY GOSH it is so cool, it really makes you feel like you are actually seeing someone perform live.We had some confusion connecting them and learning to switch back and forth between different phones at first but it does get easier. The fact the headset only has two buttons makes it a learning curve at first to remember how many times to push the button for answering calls, ending them, skipping forward a song, skipping backward, etc gets a little confusing but once you have it down its hard to forget. My husband said they work really well for his business calls and he can hear clearly and his co workers can understand him very well. Only complaint would be I found they put too much pressure on my head that I could not adjust away. I was constantly pulling a side up to relieve the pressure, so long term use isn’t for me but I was the only one that tried them in my family that had this problem. Otherwise they were quite comfortable! Overall I am very happy with this purchase and plan to use these for work and for fun for quite a while.

    Ultras vs NC 700

Coming from the 700’s it felt like a pretty large upgrade. It felt lighter, less bulky, more powerful, and better looking asthetically with punchier bass to boot. The noise cancelling is pretty ridiculous how powerful it is on this series. I legitimately cannot hear the mower when I’m using it for the lawn. A nice new feature is also noticing when I take them off and pausing the music/movie.I love Sony’s audio quality, but they have some ground to cover with Bose’s new Ultras on virtually every front. My only gripe is the Bose App (while improved) has some bugs to be worked out, especially with multi-point access is enabled. The secondary device occasionally keeps reconnecting over and over until I forget device and repair. Also causes the headphones themself to occasionally restart when pairing. These issues happen often enough to be annoying but not a deal breaker given how great these sound, feel, and look.

    Distraction Free & Quietness!

I recently had the opportunity to experience the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones, and I must say they exceeded my expectations. As an IT Project Manager and Regional Manager for an IT Company, I often find myself in noisy environments, and these headphones proved to be a game-changer.The noise-canceling capabilities of the QuietComfort Ultra are nothing short of exceptional. They effectively block out ambient noise, allowing me to focus on my tasks and projects without distractions. Whether it’s on a busy office floor or during a conference call, these headphones make a noticeable difference in my productivity.Comfort is also a key factor for me during long workdays, and the QuietComfort Ultra doesn’t disappoint. The plush ear cushions and lightweight design make them perfect for extended wear. I can easily wear them throughout the day without any discomfort.Sound quality is, of course, a top priority for any professional, and Bose delivers on this front as well. The audio is crisp, clear, and well-balanced, whether I’m listening to music, participating in virtual meetings, or taking calls. The battery life is impressive, lasting through even the longest workdays, and the quick 15-minute charge feature is handy for those times when I need a boost in a hurry. It will provide up to 3 hours of playtime. In conclusion, The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones are an excellent choice for professionals like me who need top-notch noise cancellation, comfort, and audio quality. They have become an essential tool in my daily work routine, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to enhance their productivity and audio experience.

    B.O.S.E.- Bet On Spend Everything

Just like the title says.. bet on spending everything you have in your wallet on these bad boys. But like the saying goes, you get what you pay for, and with these you’re getting the absolute best of the best. Noise cancellation is better than Sonys xm5’s. I have previously owned the QC 35ii , the Sony xm5, xm4, and these ultra’s from Bose is the best pair I have ever had. Comfort is amazing, sound is perfect , custom EQ on the Bose app. Do yourself the favor drain your wallet and life savings and buy these, you might end up homeless living under an underpass somewhere from the price of these headphones, but man that Spatial Audio is totally worth it!

    Not ready for prime time!

Number one thing you need to know: If you’re using these for meetings or phone calls, wait. Right now, there is a bug where you cannot hear yourself speak (i.e. self voice / side tone doesn’t work). It’s as if you’re conducting a meeting with ear plugs in. This is Bose firmware 1.5.4 (for those of you reading this in the future).I’ve tried this on two different headsets, one from Amazon, one from Walmart, different manufacturing dates. It flat out doesn’t work – there is no difference between high self voice and off. I’ve also updated the Bose Music app – doesn’t help. The good news is that this is probably a software bug as aware mode seems to work (can hear myself speak but also hear everything else in the room as well).Bottom line – I think this headset is nice, but I’m not sure about it being worth $420, and definitely not worth that amount when I have to switch to my older QC35s to conduct Teams meetings so I can hear myself speak. Also not a fan of the solid state volume slider. I much prefer the buttons on the QC35 series.Edit: On the Pro side: one not advertised feature is bluetooth range. This headset supports bluetooth 5.3 which is a significant upgrade from 4.x that the QC 35ii supports. With this headset, I can leave my phone in one corner of the house and walk all the way over to the other corner with no loss of signal. It’s more than double the range of the older bluetooth protocols. The headset is backwards compatible with bluetooth 4 devices, but to get this benefit, make sure your phone / laptop / whatever supports bluetooth 5.On the negative side, another feature that annoys me on this set of headphones is the on-head detection. The way it’s supposed to work is that when you take off your headphones, they automatically pause whatever is playing and go into a low power state. In theory…In practice, this is somewhat annoying for two reasons:1. It’s not bullet proof. Maybe 1 out of 20 times I take off the headphones, it doesn’t detect it and the music keeps playing. The benign case is when music is playing and you notice it and fix it. The treacherous case is when you’ve already paused the music, take off the headset, and then it doesn’t go low power mode. Next time you wear them the battery will be dead. 2. If you take off the headphones, they don’t disconnect from Bluetooth right away. It takes some time before it disconnects. So you end up having to manually disconnect anyway to use your phone / laptop speakers instead of the headset, and at that point you wonder why these don’t simply have a slider on / off switch like the older models.

The Best Bose has to Offer

I came from the Bose QC35 II, and cannot get enough of the latest QC!! I went to Best Buy to try out the ’23 QC & QC Ultra… the Ultra won me over because of the difference in plush comfort compared to the normal QC’s. It also has insane noise cancellation that is great for filtering out annoying conversations around you, so you can get in the zone and focus…or be at peace for that matter lol.The immersion mode is new for the QC lineup, and I enjoy the feature but wasn’t my main driver to buy the headphones and my opinion remains the same after owning them.I wish it came in more colors though, like the Ultra’s cheaper variant :(.

    Amazing headphones

these are totally worth the hype. I am not one to just buy something based on name but Bose are worth it. these are very comfortable, they switch seamlessly between my tv and laptop, or phone and laptop etc. the noise cancellation is superb, now ive heard complaints about mic quality but I dont see any issues in sound quality. I have the Sony 1000xm5s over the head earphones and ive used those exclusively for over a year and these have replaced them. These are worth the price tag I only wish it had more touch control, but I can live without it.

    Well worth the investment

To start off, I casually listen to Jazz, J-POP songs, and occasionally classic. I am not an expert in music, but coming from the QC 35 II, the QC Ultras have an easily noticeable upgrade in sound quality that is worth the price in my opinion. I enjoyed the QC 35 II, but there were many times I wish I could increase the bass just a bit. Now with the Bose Music app, I can tune the Bass just how I want it. As I’m currently using the headphones as I’m writing this review, every song I listen just sounds better, and I’m hearing things in the song that I never noticed before. Yes these headphones are pricey, but if you’re willing to save up for these I don’t think they will disappoint. I just received these so if there are any issues with the headphones in the future as I use them more I’ll update this review.

    Highly Recommended

I’m giving this review a high rating for the quality of the headphones themselves. However, I was somewhat disappointed with Bose’s Customer service. This had to do with getting these headphones registered with the Bose Co. I did not purchase these through their website. I bought them here on Amazon. After receiving them I went to their website to find the security code. They told me to look under the right earcup. I was very nervous doing this with a brand new pair of expensive headphones. In their chat box I kept telling them I can’t find it. They kept telling me I am looking in the wrong place. Well, finally after what seemed like an hour of pulling and eventually tearing it, they asked me, “Where Did I Buy it?” They then told me the number was on the box it came in. Finally using the numbers on the box I was able to get them registered. They did make up for this by sending me a new set of ear cups. So please keep in mind, if you buy them elsewhere and look to register them, Don’t pull them apart like I did.As for the Ultra’s themselves I couldn’t be happier. This is my first pair of Bose. I got these mainly for the noise cancelation since I live in a very noisy environment. And they didn’t miss a thing with with these. I’m still trying to get the hang of the music app but I’m sure in time I’ll be happy with that as well. I just wish I was able to get their music app on my desktop instead of my cell phone.

Bose raised the ANC bar with these cans!

The newest iteration of these headphones is nothing short of amazing. It starts with the packaging that is clean and efficient. No wasted space and it’s clean and attractive. From there, moving on to the sleekness of the carrying case that comes with these headphones. Because they collapse and fold onto themselves, the case is small and very portable. Easy to take on a flight with you, or throw in your pack for around town.Once you put these headphones on is when the world disappears. The active noise cancellation is better than the previous model, and the best that I have experienced from any set of headphones. Easily better than any other flagship headphones that I’ve tried. The comfort of these headphones is wonderful as well. The padded headband sits perfectly, and the ear cuffs have thick cushioning. There’s just the right amount of pressure to hold them on your head without bothering you. The battery is quoted at 24 hours, and I don’t think lack of comfort would be what makes you take them off.The sound quality is on par with what you would expect from Bose’s top of the line cans. The new head tracking that’s built into them is really cool. You can turn it off, you can set it as a fixed point ahead of you, or you can have it follow you around. It’s hard to describe, but it’s really cool in practice.Overall, these headphones are great investment. I can’t wait to really put them through their paces and get them broken in.

    Best EVER!

These Bose headphones are FANTASTIC! The very best I have ever heard mush less owned. They look very nice and are lightweight and comfortable. They were even comfortable after 3 hours and that is saying something. The app is very intuitive and controls all functions very well. The sound is true and clear as a bell. The bass and treble is easy to control through the app and there is plenty of both to set up as you wish. The various modes give you several ways to listen although I favor the “follow” mode.Just the volume control s cool as it is a simple swish of your finger to control it with no dials or buttons to use and/ or wear out.I have one (well actually 2 but more on that second one later) small problem with this set. A nitpick really. It seems for what these cost there could be a printed hard copy of the manual include but that is not a big deal at all.Connecting to blue tooth was simple and fast. Phone calls are clear and the mics pick up my voice very well when on a call. The package comes with all you need with the charging cable and a pin cable with a very nice case. Now for the second complaint: My husband (he is in the photos) keeps taking them and using them while doing his chores etc. I am sure he will mention that in his review.Bottom line: excellent headphones and I would buy them again. Too many pros to list and only one minor con.Enjoy!

    Bose already Knows!

I am so very impressed with the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones! The clear sound – combined with the world-class noise cancellation- deliver an unmatched audio experience. The headphones were really easy to pair with my iPhone. However, there is an insert that provides step by step instructions for those who may need it. Furthermore, you can personalize almost everything to your liking in the Bose Music app! These headphones have a long battery life of up to 24 hours. They have a quiet mode where the highs hit harder and the bass drops the deepest, an aware mode for you to hear music and your surroundings with full transparency, and an immersion mode that combines full noise cancellation and Bose Immersive Audio for the realest sound you can get. Whats more is the CustomTune technology that auto-adjusts the sound performance to the unique shape of your ears and adapt to any distortion. They personalize to always provide the best sound quality. These headphones have a revolutionary mic system allowing you to hear and be heard on calls. The headphones have soft pads that surround your ears, providing unrivaled comfort! They are made of luxe materials and provide maximum comfort. They mange to look modern, sleek, and sophisticated while doing so! I’m all about taking good care of my stuff, so I love the carry case that is included. It’s a hard-shelled case which offers optimal protection. The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones are easily the best headphones I have ever had the pleasure of trying, I can’t recommend them enough!

    Great Noise Canceling

I absolutely love everything about these new Bose Ultra QuietComfort headphones! They perform just as advertised, the noise canceling is top-notch if not one of the best in the market, they are the perfect weight, and not heavy when used for long periods of time, they fit perfectly around the ear, and again are great for noise cancellation. I’ve been wearing them during my travels, and wearing them on flights has been great, no engine noise, no crying babies, just entertainment. Phone calls come through clear without lag and I’ve gotten no complaints on the microphone. The Bose immersion is the cherry on top of a great product and the battery life is just as advertised. I’ve worn them on my last four flights, and I have yet to charge them, the included auxiliary cable is also a lifesaver specially when trying to connect to the in-flight entertainment and not deal with Bluetooth adapters. The look of the headphones is also great. The off-white color is a nice addition, as well as the premium feel of the Headphones themselves.

Bose QuietComfort Ultra – it’s ok.

The quality is good, the headphones are comfortable, I’ve used it for aprox 1h continuously with no problem, sound is very good, lots of bass. One day when I’ve put them on the sound on the left ear was low, no bass at all and I was hearing a noise inside the left ear, it was similar to two wires coming together. The sound came back after I moved around and it went off again.Another aspect was the leather on one of the headphones looked a bit worn off, not something that one would expect from a brand new product. The noise cancellation is making a white noise which can be heard when not listening to music. when using the volume control on the right headphone it can move up or down steeply until you find your optimal point, not very pleasant.I will return it and consider if I should give it another chance or try another brand.

    Quality and Comfort – Wow!!!

I don’t know where to start, the comfort?! the sound quality?! Ok I’ll talk about the sound quality and features – Wow, wow, wow!! I REALLY love the Immersion setting. Basically, the Immersion setting means the noise cancelling option is to the highest level so the sound is REALLY crisp and no outside sounds interferes with whatever you are listening to. I was really blown away by the musical theater video I was listening to. The noise cancelling feature is REALLY superb. I was also in my room with an air purifier on – which is loud by the way. The Bose noise cancelling feature REALLY dimmed the sound of my air purifier. I would say it blocked 85 – 90% of the air purifier sound. Next are the controls. I’ve only been using the volume controls and it is the right side of the headphones. It’s really cool that it’s touch sensitive. There are no buttons – you just slide your finger up and down. The volume control is VERY responsive which is really cool. When I take the headphones off it automatically pauses the video or song (neat!) I like the fact that I won’t be “wearing out” any buttons. As for comfort I love the fact that it DEFINITELY fits over my ears. I have no fear of pinched ears and lack of blood flow. The headphone pads is very soft, plush and comfortable. I stretched the headphone to its maximum length and it was good for my head. The feel of everything was just slick and smooth . I haven’t tested the battery yet. I will update once I do. the case is great and easy to use. It has a hole for the pads which is pretty convenient. I will be using the case because this Bose headphone costs a few dollars. I don’t have to mention that this uses USB-C and they provide the cord. I also like the fact that I can connect two different devices. I have android and there were no issues connecting to it but I made sure to download the Bose app. There is an IMMERSION DEMO which sounds VERY cool and you really get to hear the high quality audio features. I had no problems connecting it to my Windows computer. Very happy with my headphones. I plan to bring this to swim competitions where it can get very loud.

An embarrassing engineering failure from Bose

The basics: It sounds like a bose headset, some things are not so pleasant and others are good. The muddy effect is there, audiobooks and some music is pretty mediocre. The noise cancelling really is really good, and the only reason this has 2 stars. The controls and operational behavior of the device is an utter failure though. I curse at these headphones regularly.First, the bluetooth connectivity is overzealous in that it seems to be recognized as ‘connected’ by my iphone, ipad, PC, etc even when it isn’t, this makes getting it to connect a frustrating dance of resetting devices, toggling bluetooth off and on, etc. I often have to reboot the headphones and get the puzzling audio cues that something might be wrong. Without interaction it will occasionally reset itself and I’ll hear the searching for connection chimes inexplicably while I’m wrestling with it to play the audio I want every time. The controls are a disgrace. One button, despite what the manual says, apparently does pretty much nothing. The other button does everything, which means really you have to fight it to get the headset to do anything beyond the first thing the other button does (bluetooth pairing). I have still, after almost 2 weeks of use, NEVER gotten the headset to power off as the manual describes. I now just plug it in to the charger to coax it into power off, inevitably wearing down the battery fast. I’m not even sure if it is off, but at least I’m not finding its battery dead every morning after a night of sitting on my desk. The idea that there is an automatic low power mode is either a lie or the mode is a total failure like 80% of the device. I will eventually send these back. What an unbelievable move by Bose sending a product over $50 to consumers that is this rough around the edges. The Sony WH5s are probably half as bad with controls, but they are miserable to wear for more than 15 minutes. I have worn the Bose for 8 hours comfortably.

the best sound in the world…

There are so many good things that can be said about this product, starting with it is a unique and incredible sound, what they managed to do in these headphones is without a doubt majestic and it is another level of sound, you can notice the difference as soon as you put them on and You choose a mode, the difference that exists in each of them and how the music manages to surround you in different ways in each mode, noise cancellation is another aspect that undoubtedly evolved with this model and this brand since it manages to abstract you from reality and It seems like you are at a concert where they play for you only, it is a great experience, they connect to your phone in 2 seconds and through the app you manage all the functionalities of the headphones, even so for people like me who appreciate music , the details and the clarity of each nuance, I think it lacks volume, when you put it at maximum volume you feel as if it was still missing a little more but there is no more, I suppose it is the price you pay for clarity in the sound, but for The price of these headphones I think they should have considered that a slightly higher volume would be of great appeal to the public like me.

    Sleek comfortable Headphone with Multipoint

I’ve owned many headphones, earbuds, and a few noise-cancelling over-the-ear headphones like this Bose one. By far, this is the best looking and comfy headphone that I’ve used. I love that it features auto-on and power-saving mode when putting it on and off, so I don’t have to worry about keeping it on and coming back to a dead battery. Bose’s noise-cancelling headphones are known to be popular amongst those who travel frequently in the airplane rides, and while I haven’t had a chance to test this in the airplane yet, it completely blocks out ambient noises like my AC running, neighbor’s lawn mower, etc. Without any music playing, I’m able to hear my family conversing in the same room, but still works well. New feature called the immersion mode, is quite cool. It makes the sound more hollow as if you’re in a bigger space, so that it feels more like it’s coming out of the space you’re in. The head-tracking mode is super interesting as you turn your head, but I don’t think I’ll use that feature much. My favorite part of this headphone is the multipoint. It lets me connect to both my laptop and my phone, and depending on which source is playing sound, I’ll be able to hear without having to disconnect and reconnect. I wish all bluetooth audio devices supported this feature! As shown in the photo where it’s folded up, I feel like a pouch might be easier to store instead of the zippered case that came with it. While it does a great job of storing it, having to align the orientation to make it flat takes some time getting used to. My head’s circumference is about 59.5 cm and I have to extend the headphone all the way to fit my large head but I imagine it’ll work well for most people with average head size. I’d say the headphone is definitely on the pricy side, but it’s definitely a premium device that many will enjoy using.

    Compared to QC35

This review is going to be based on how much of an upgrade these are compared to the QC35.Sound: Short answer is they are noticeably better even without the immersive sound option. The bass can “hit” much harder and has a richer deeper sound. I thought that the QC35 did a fantastic job of putting me in the environment of the music I was listening to, but the Ultra’s do an even better job. I like to have a headspace of escape when I use my headphones while I work and these do an even better job. I’ll be honest about the immersive audio feature that I am not sure it’s something I value. I have tried to listen to songs repeatedly with it on and off, it I do not feel it adds much to the experience. Perhaps my viewpoint will change with time.User Interface: The multi-function button has more options than the QC35 button. I like the volume slider vs buttons because it allows you to make smaller volume adjustments vs pre-determine volume adjustments. You keep your finger on the touch slider and move it slowly. I wish Bose had used the touch panel option for the track management like they did on the 700. Clicking the multi-function button 2x to go forward; 3x to go backward. 4x is set in the app whatever you want it to do. The headphones will go into stand-by if you lay the cups flat on a table or surface. The LED will pulse slowly to know you are in stand-by. I have left my QC35 on many times to come back disappointed to find them dead. Then when you pick them up and put them on your ears they come out of sleep mode. USB-C is nice, the QC35 was micro-usb and I don’t tend to use that style of cable anymore.Build: The hinges on this seem to be more sturdy than the qc35. The hinge action is smooth with no clicking. The headband is a bit sturdier as well. The cushions are a bit more stiff than the QC35 so hopefully that leads to more longevity because the older style tends to wear out and you have to replace them.APP: One thing that hampers the QC35 more than the new version of the headphone which I think is the QC35II and later is the options available in the Bose Music App verses the Bose Connect App. The Bose Music has much better fined tuned features with regards to the noise cancellation options and equalizer settings. The QC45 and 700 I know use the Bose MusicMic: I have used this for many phone calls and virtual meetings. I haven’t received any complaints about being heard or being clear.

    Bose Does it Again

Let me start by saying, I am an audiophile and I am constantly trying new headphones and new audio technology. In my opinion, Bose still stands far above the competetion in most catagories. The crisp sound, unmatched comfort, and superior noise cancelling set these QuietComfort Ultra headphones apart from everything I have used. I travel a lot for work and I am constantly grabbing this headset for the airport, loud flights, and just leisure music listening.Design:As you take the Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones out of the case you will immediately note that it has the same sleek curves and overall clean appearance of a Bose product. The case fits the headphones perfectly with enough room for small accessories like a charging and auxiliary chord.Comfort:These are easily the most comfortable pair of headphones I have ever used. The ear cushions are made of the distinct Bose memory foam and they are fully adjustable to any head size. I wore them on a 8-hour long-haul flight and my head didnt hurt or have suction/red marks from overuse. I was incredibly impressed.Intuitiveness:The controls and simplicity of the button layout is something that I really started to like. The volume is a simple swipe up or down on the side of the headset and the multi-function button is intuitive and does exactly what you would expect. I found that using the app for things like connecting bluetooth and adjusting sound modes worked better than pressing buttons on the headphones themselves.Battery Life:My only small complaint is that using Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) and playing louder music, the battery tends to drain somewhat faster than I expected. After a full charge I find that the headset will drop to 60-70% fairly fast. That being said, the battery has never run out on me, not even once.Noise Cancelling:This headset is far and away the best noise cancelling I have ever experienced with headphones, and I have tried all the major brands. I would say the ANC is slightly better than previous generation Bose headsets. Also, I did not notice fatigure or ANC induced headaches, which is a huge plus. I feel like you can literally enter your own quiet world in a busy space like an airport or aircraft, and for me that is everything.Overall:This headset is the marquee of excellent sound quality, unmatched comfort, and the best noise cancelling on the market. The headset looks great on your head and sounds even better than it looks. Bose does it again.

Comfortable, great noise cancellation, great audio quality

I have owned many headphones over the years, ear buds all fall out. These are the most comfortable I have ever used. The audio quality is excellent, as you would expect from Bose. The noise cancelling is astonishing. It is so effective that I can use it to sleep in a noisy environment. The Bluetooth wireless is easy to pair with iPhone and iPad. It is better and 20% cheaper than the Apple product.

Impressive Update to Bose QC Headphones

The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones exceeded my expectations. Coming from previous generation Bose QC headphones, these were an impressive upgrade in sound, features and comfort. The build quality is great, using soft materials all around and a metal for the size adjustments. I’m hopeful these will be just as durable as my previous Bose that still look new after 5 years.I don’t pretend to be an audiophile expert, but the sound quality is excellent. The Bose QC Ultra seem to carry on Bose’s reputation for rich sound, and are a noticeable upgrade from the previous generation of QC headphones. The normal noise canceling is top notch, and the new immersive mode (Bose’s version of spatial sound) is really nice. It makes you feel like you’re in a room filled with music. I also like the aware mode where you can clearly hear surrounding sound while still enjoying whatever you’re listening to.The touch controls are intuitive and sensitive enough that you can decrease or increase the volume by minimal amounts. Another feature which I find useful is the auto pause/play when you remove or put on the headphones. It’s a convenience I didn’t know I was missing. The hard case for the headphones is nice too. I like that it has indentations for the headphone pieces so it’s secure and no doubt which way they go in.The only negatives I have so far with these headphones are the price tag and lack of USB-C audio compatibility – for headphones this new it would’ve been nice to see. I’m sure they’ll last me a while though and provide years of good listening.

    Awesome Headphones

These are by far the best headphones I have ever bought. I have tried various other brands that were not Bose. They are the best noise cancelling headphones and I love how you can customize your listening experience through the app. I have created several different modes that I use for different activities and love how you can make it so the sound follows your head motion. The sound quality is super clear and crisp. They are also the most comfortable headphones I have ever bought. In the past I have had headphones that don’t fit well and thus they start causing ear pain after a while of use. With this new pair of Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra I have not had any ear pain. They are lightweight but high quality and I love them!I highly recommend them!

Best Headphones – From an Audiophile

Hands down the best headphones I’ve ever had in every category. Was deciding bet with QC45, Sony xm4/5s, Apple AirPod Max. Went with this for newer technology. Purest headphones I’ve had were the audio technical m50x. Was hoping the sound on these delivered. They did and even better than expected. Noise cancellation is so good. Had a heater fan next to me and couldn’t even tell it was on. The Immerse Audio (spacial audio) is incredible. My daughter couldn’t even believe how the headphones sounded line that.Worth it for sure

    A step up in quality

My last pair of noise canceling headphones were a Audio-Technica ATHANC7 purchased in 2007. I have been very happy with them. They still work. These are quite an upgrade. They have much better sound than any headphone or speakers that I have. Beautiful sound, great noise cancellation and folds up into a smaller carrying case. I look forward to many years of use. I just wish the battery was replaceable since it would be nice to be able to use them 10 to 15 years from now.Another item worth mentioning is the lack of Dolby Atmos support. It would have been nice. My PowerBeats Pro has Atmos support. But the sound of these headphones is way better. My hearing isn’t what it used to be but the lows and highs are really impressive.

Not the sound profile for me- vocals felt subdued

A subjective review, I mainly listen to ballades, classical, krnb/kpop, jazz… so i prefer somewhere close to the harman curve.I own hd 800 s and the airpods pro 2nd gen. I wont compare them to the 800 s because the price difference.Comfort- no complaints 4.6/5. Just got a bit warm due to me playing at higher volume because i want to hear vocals.Sound- some people say that its loud and some people say its quiet. I realized why people say this. Vocals are quiet, and almost become less present/more muddy when the volume is turned up. for me, the dip in the lower treble/high mid bothered me extremely, the sole reason im returning them. I prefer there not to be a dip there so that vocals are more present. For example the airpods pro 2nd gen/hd 800 s do a much better job at this region. And even though i tried to eq through bose app, it did not fix the dip present in the vocals. If you like to to listen to ballades, jazz, or anything with a lot of singing and instruments, i wouldn’t recommend them for this reason. The airpods pro 2nd gen have much better tuning sadly. If you dont listen to vocals or dont care if they are prominent you might like these. 2.5/5Connectivity- i like that you can connect to two devices at once, it worked smoothly. 5/5Packaging-sucked, ugly box, not that it matters.Anc- quite good, 5/5Immersive audio- horrible compared to what apple has going on, not to hate. There is a crazy delay when using the motion mode, and still mode lowers sound quality, so its useless. 0/5Value- uh i think 2.5/ 5 its good for its anc, though i think anc has gotten good across the board, so I dont really care.Style -4.5/5- i find them to look niceTldr: don’t like the tuning. Like the tuning on airpods pros way more. Horrible spatial audio.

    BEST HEADPHONES I EVER HAD

Today I received the White Smoke color Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra headphones. In the box, there is a headphones case, a USB A charging accessory, and a headphone jack. QC Ultra looks modern and The headband is made with aluminum metal, plastic, and comfortable luxe material with cushioning for your ears. The right ear cup has two buttons, one for Bluetooth, power on/off, and the other one is a multi-function button to pause, advance, or go back on the tracks you are listening to. A slider is for volume management, It’s quite responsive and works seamlessly. The multi-function button is to switch between quiet, aware, and Immersion modes. It is easy to pair my Apple device with the Bose Music APP. One great feature is the auto-sleep functionality it saves battery when not in use. My first impression is these are the best headphones I’ve ever had. I played 8D audio music and I feel the spatial sound with Bose Immersive Audio. It is a different world compared to other headphones. The immersive audio is excellent for the movies. Crystal clear sound, best noise cancellation with auto-adjusted sound performance. I feel very comfortable compared to my existing headphones. I feel the difference between world-class sound and comfort from Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones.

    Mind blown

This is my first pair of bluetooth headphones that actually have a bass response that matters. It isn’t flat like other brands and it vibrates my ears which I love. Out of the box this didn’t impress me and that was user error – I got sucked into thinking immersive audio was just a market gimmick but here I am, loving every second of it because it makes the music feel airy and transported me to my basement stereo system with how nice it felt. The app is easy to use and personally on my windows + android combo, I didn’t have issues switching audio or anything like that. I highly recommend everyone get the app in order to tweak settings such as the immersive audio to your liking, and set up the shortcut buttons. The case is nice and it comes with the usb 2.5 to 3.5mm cable and an usb type c charging cable. The headphones themselves have light earcups with most of the weight feeling like its on the band but the cushion material helps a lot. Bluetooth pairing is a little confusing but it can be fixed with an update.Right now, you hold down the power button, hear the turning off sound, and STILL have to hold down the button and then it goes into pairing mode. It fooled me a few times because it made me think I had turned the unit off and had let go of the button. Overall a fantastic offering and I’m happy to be back on team Bose!

Best Bluetooth Over Ear Headphones 2023/2024

Okay, these are legitimately DOPE. Sound. Connection. Quality. Comfort. Software ease/UX. ANC. I tried a bunch of high end Bluetooth headphones and Bose QC Ultra are the BEST. Better than Sony WM4/WM5. Better than Technics. Worked like a charm in an airplane—super impressive noise canceling and great sound. Couldn’t even hear anyone taking. So far, these are worth every penny. So relieved to finally find the perfect Bluetooth headphones.
