OK Picture, Hard to Set Up
My wife and I spent almost an hour trying to get this machine to work, and she is very good at setting up electronic equipment. We were trying to get it to project single photographs off an iPad. I was using an HDMI cord. I could not get the projector to respond, no matter how many buttons I pushed, or how many connections I tried, or how many other ideas I tried. After plugging and unplugging it several times we finally got it to project the photographs. What a pain! One suggestion: when you think the set up is correct for the cords, follow the instructions for pushing the buttons, which is weird, and then push the button for each step, and WAIT. Wait for a few seconds because the projector does not respond quickly or well. Make sure you push the whatever out of the button when you push it down. A quick or light tap will not trigger the machine to react. Once the menu is projected and you are clicking the small arrows up down and sideways, wait until the unit responds on the screen. Try to make sure you hit the button firmly. Another pain is, if you wait too long to hit the buttons after the menu is on the screen the menu goes away. It actually goes away fairly fast. If that happens you have to start from the beginning.Once your picture is on the screen, wall, or whatever, there will be a series of buttons along the bottom of the screen. So, make sure the projector is adjusted so you can see the bottom of the projected picture with the buttons. I found that trying to move along the bottom buttons was a chore because the machine did not respond to many of my clicks.IF you are projecting from a micro SD card you will see a button along the bottom that allows you to reduce the size of the picture. I was able to reduce the size below what I could achieve on the iPad. You would have to transfer your photos to a micro SD card before projecting them, but that may be a necessity if you need smaller pictures like I do.The projected photo is good enough quality for my purposes. You can see the picture without all the lights off and curtains closed. I can see the picture in the daylight without any lights on as long as my blinds are closed. Compared to other photo projectors I have used, which contain a huge lightbulb and a prism to throw the printed photo, this one is quite strong.Getting the picture small enough to fit on an 11 x 14 area is impossible. The smallest picture I could get was about 18 x 24. As a result, projecting an entire photograph from an iPad, and getting as close to the wall or canvas as possible, even the smallest picture will be blown up to a large size. It would be OK if you were trying to crop a photo or pick out a small area of a photo, but that is about it.While the artograph prism projector does get a much smaller photo projection, it is also much weaker. The artograph prism has a big bulb that gets the projector extremely hot. You can actually burn yourself on it. The artograph is also far larger unit, and a person must work from a printed photo because it is not digital. This Bigasuo projector is small, stays cool, and the picture is bright. A lot brighter than the artograph prism. The sound isn’t loud to me, but the projector noise was irrelevant to my use. I have heard others that were much louder.Other problems with this projector include, but are not limited to, the buttons are the same color as the projector, and the symbols telling a person what the button does are very small, mysterious, and not raised above the button much. The small, same color as the machine, buttons make it hard to adjust the projector. The amount of focus is slim. If the lens was able to focus closer the user could make the picture smaller, which would be useful for people like me who want a small bright image. The HDMI cord is a problem, plus the manufacture gave us two HDMI connections. And they are not labeled number 1 and number 2. Why? Why not another USB port or a full size SD slot? The micro SD slot is a pain. The micro SDs are so small I cannot handle them well. I keep dropping the things. Why not use a full size SD slot and allow the user to put the micro SD into an adapter to use the micro SD?I have not tried to use the streaming or video/movie functions. I have not tried to use the CD functions. I cannot say how long the projector will last.Overall, I think the projector is worth the price and should work well for family use.AD2

Will not Bluetooth
Picture quality is okay.. a lil fuzzy on fast scenes but does okay.. family enjoyed it. However, I had to plug in my brothers sound bar for volume. With nothing plugged in.. the sound is so faint and you have to sit by it to hear anything.. so don’t eat loud food like chips or popcorn. I tried the Bluetooth to my portable Bluetooth speaker and it connected but sounded so very low.. as if it were far away. So I charged up my speaker thinking that was the problem, unfortunately I was wrong. So then I thought maybe my speaker is broken, after all it had been a long time since I had used it. So I went and bought a new one, keep in mind I bought a new speaker that cost $25 plus tax. It was the cheapest the store had at the time. So I took it home and connected it through Bluetooth, unfortunately, it had the same results. So then I realized it’s the projector with the problem. I went to visit some family and I tried Bluetooth into their speakers, exact same results. Very very very low. Like you literally have to hold speaker up to your ear to hear anything. So then my brother brought out his soundbar. He plugged it into the projector, and what do you know.. it worked finally. Only thing I hated about that is that I had to keep the sound bar plugged in next to the projector. I wanted to use Bluetooth to put the soundbar behind us as if we were in a real theater. But luckily with the sound bar the volume worked very well. Worked like it was supposed to. Second thing I didn’t like was since I couldn’t use Bluetooth option .. That meant more cords and things to plug in. It’s an eye sore. And more to deal with. The 3rd thing I didn’t like was each time I turned the volume up or down a super loud female robot voice would announce it during movie.. “VOLUME UP!””VOLUME UP!” “VOLUME DOWN!”” VOLUME DOWN!”it’s annoying. And the last thing I did not like.. was having to adjust the picture quality every time I put in a new movie or when I had to go to menu settings. I could be watching a movie just fine with good quality, but if I paused it and clicked on menu settings, sometimes I had to adjust the quality in order to read the menu settings clearly. But it’s not a big big deal because it’s not hard to clear it up.. it’s very simple to adjust.. just a few seconds. Other than the Bluetooth not working, its not a bad purchase.. picture quality is good.. I displayed it on the side of my brothers trailer. Everyone loved it. I played every famous Christmas movie on Christmas for the whole family to watch outside and play Christmas games outside. It played the Grinch with Jim Carey very clear and the Grinch in cartoon very good. Bright quality.

Great, compact, practical
Like that the projector is easy to set up. Pop in a dvd and go. No need to connect exterior device to play a dvd disc. Also has wifi, making it even more convenient. Comes with HDMI cables, nice carrying case, little stand. Bright, lightweight, overall I was very pleased with the purchase.

Simple, small audio delay
Works well and comes with a nice bag. I’ve used it a few time now and the only issue ive noticed is with the sound. There is a small delay, about half a second, from video to audion with DVDs.

GREAT OVERALL PROJECTOR
Our old projector still worked fine, but it was time for a newer one. Works great, good sound delivery, I like the built in DVD player (its not always easy to stream in the garden) an overall great projector for the price.

Update: new projector
Thank God I tested it right away. Fan is VERY LOUD. Tried 4 different DVDs (not blue ray) and you could hear the DVD spinning but nothing loaded. Kept making a scratching sound. Seems like the lens inside was not reading the DVD. I have issued a return. Will update review once new one comes in. Fingers crossed.***UPDATE WITH NEW SYSTEMWhen I issued my first return for product not working they sent a new one immediately. I tested this new one and it works great!! DVD plays. Picture is great and sound. I have updated my review from one star to four.

SOUND
For the price this is a great machine. Definitely need to look at adding speakers. Although it has a built in speaker, unless you are at the machine you can’t hear the sound clearly. We purchased speakers to use with the blue tooth system and are satisfied . If you want theater quality go pay for it but for backyard fun this is the way to go.

Noisy with DVD fxn but excellent customer service
Update- after getting this refunded and expressing the issues below the company has been very attentive to the issues noted. They sent me another projector without the player , at no cost, and upon learning I had purchased the newer version of the one here they offered to refund it as they do think the noise I heard is probably just related to fact dvd spinning will make noise. They have been very amazing to work with and I would buy from this company again. The noise, for many, may not be an issue. The lines were likely a faulty hdmi, it didn’t do it with my Roku stic. They did hope I’d remove the review but that feels dishonest because as a customer reviews need to be accurate customer experience so when we make these decisions we can trust them. So I updated to reflect the stellar customer service but I stand behind the issues this player had for us. If you don’t care about dvd or you are not hyper sensitive this player is great. We did find if we put the speaker under the screen, further from us, it was less problematic. Of course it was not there if we just used a Roku player and in fact picture quality was pretty good too!Bought so we can watch DVDs and stream. When using DVD player horrible obnoxious loud and distracting feedback sounds. When streaming hooked up to a phone with hdmi random pixelating stripping runs through the screen. Gave up because I didn’t buy this to only be able to hook up a streaming stick, the only playback option I didn’t try. Returning.

Don’t be fooled by the list price of $249
This projector is definitely not worth more than the lightning price of $118. I only received this a couple of days ago, so I can’t speak to the longevity of this projector, but I can share my observations regarding it’s performance. So, the things that I like are the built-in DVD player, the lens cover and the carrying bag. The things I don’t like are the zoom feature – if you use it whatever ratio/zoom setting you put it on it is then projected onto your screen, with NO way to remove it. I’ve checked the menu and settings page and written the seller with no answer or resolution provided. The only work around I have found is simply to not use it and move the projector closer or further away. The bluetooth feature has worked, but the sound using it and when plugged into the headphone jack resulted in a buzzing sound. The other thing to note is, if using it with a firestick or roku, when looking at the menu features built into those, it is impossible for all the text to be in focus. If the bottom part of the screen was in focus then the upper portion was not. I guess this is why it states in the description that it is not recommended for PowerPoint presentations. I also found it interesting when looking up this company that Fangor actually comes up on the page. If you’ve been shopping on Amazon for a projector it’s quite likely you came across this brand. Apparently, they are one in the same. Now, what I found most interesting is they don’t even show BIGASUO projector anywhere on their product page and they only have two projectors listed. Just seems odd to me. Anyway, that’s the good and the bad based on using it once.Update: The company has reached out to me after becoming aware of my dissatisfaction and I have to say their customer service has been great; albeit a little slow. I have increased the rating of this product.

Picture quality is not very clear without the projector cloth
I use this without a projector cloth screen. I just project the picture onto the wall. It is about 85% clear. Wish it could be clearer without the projector screen.

Great projector at a great price point!
I purchased this to use as an entertainment system for my kids to use on camping outings with friends. We are located in the northern states so outside camping is very hit or miss in the winter months, but the pre-holiday pricing was hard to pass up! Upon unboxing I verified everything was included and got to setting it up indoors in our basement. If you have used a projector previously there is nothing unique you need to know to get this up and operational. I had it up and running within minutes. I also had an offer enclosed inside the box to redeem for a free 84” screen. The picture is great if you can operate it outside of being in a room with daylight. At nighttime outside, or in a dark room the picture is amazing! Using during the day or in a light room it is still usable but does wash out. I had tried a few PowerPoints that did not have strong contrast between the text and background and they were a little difficult to see in the daylight. I do believe that this is expected behavior for any projector. The external Bluetooth speaker option is great. The projector does have a fan that runs to keep the unit cool, therefore the internal speaker always must work to be louder than that. I connected to an external speaker and it made it much easier to hear, plus allows you to sit further away from the projector unit and closer to the actual sound. The amount and type of inputs is great as well, no fumbling around with connectors to try to hook up different types of video equipment. I have tested the HDMI with multiple laptops, streaming devices (ROKU, FireStick, ChromeCast) and console DVD players and have had no issues. My favorite feature is the ability to use memory media such as USB sticks and the microSD card. This allows me to bring digital copies of what I want to watch along with us without worry of damage to the discs. One item I would note from the description is it states it comes with a “charging cord” which could be somewhat confusing as there is no onboard battery. This actually comes with an AC adapter cord to power the unit, but it is a 12vdc barrel plug connection and could likely be powered directly from a deep cycle battery – this will be an upcoming test since some of our campouts are at non-electric sites.Overall a great projector for the price!

Working OK for the camper
We’re using this in a camper with a 60″ cloth screen and, as long as it’s dark enough outside, it does a perfectly acceptable job. As a DVD player/projector, the sound is not great and, though it will Bluetooth connect (eventually) to a Bose Sound Wave, it’s still pretty quiet. However, when connected to my laptop with a HDMI cable, the sound is much better. It will also project Netflix, etc., from the laptop, if we have a good enough WiFi connection. As it is, the DVD projector is perfect when there’s no connection at all.

Replacement remote
I really like the projector. Wonderful picture, however we accidentally left the remote at the beach over the summer. Bought it for the beach trip, now… it’s kinda useless without the remote. It does not say anywhere if you can buy replacement pieces or the info is disguised too well . So, I will definitely think about that when buying again. 🤨 Otherwise… loved it.🙁

The Best Projector Out Of The Top 3 By Far!
So, I don’t normally get this excited about a product, but after purchasing two projectors that cost cause me more aggravation and lost time trying everything I could think of to get them to work on the night we had an outdoor party, this projector absolutely put those to shame. The first ones I purchased were the WiMiUS 7200 Lux and the QKK Mini Projector 5500. Both were horrible experiences because it is like they did not think things through when they developed them, but this projector solved everything in one shot. First, those other two did not have any kind of bluetooth speaker connectivity like this one has and neither had a good enough speaker to be able to hear them well. There was no way to connect audio to the projectors unless you had a full wired speaker with power set-up. My bluetooth speaker speaker worked perfectly with the Bigasuo (funny name, but I won’t forget it anytime soon now). This fantastic little projector had it all going for it. First, it comes with a great carrying case, which is a nice touch, but more importantly, you have every way to connect to watching movies or anything else for that matter and it is so much more simple. The DVD player is a great way to get going immediately, which is not a part of the other projectors I researched. The keystone to make the screen angle correctly is a simple knob that you turn right behind the projector, so you don’t have to play with the settings to fix this quickly. The brightness may be a bit less than the 7200 Wimius, but it was not even been a factor to consider, since it looks so clear overall. lastly, the tripod makes it so much easier to get the right angle, which was the most frustrating part of getting those other two projectors to line up well with the screen. This one has an easy lever to even it out in just a few seconds, where as I never fully got the other two projectors to line up correctly using everything I could think of, such as books and such. I normally do not like to buy made in China products because of the quality and such, but even without using this for a long time, the thoughtfulness they put into this product makes me feel like they made a product that will last. Give this one a try and you will not be disappointed!

Amazing! Need to get an additional cord.
We have been contemplating getting one of these for the past couple of summers and finally decided to bite the bullet and purchase. After reading a ton of reviews, etc. we decided that this was our best option. At our house, we have challenging cell signal and our Wi-Fi doesn’t reach as far as we want, so we knew this one with a DVD option was the style we needed. It plugs in, so make sure you have a long enough extension cord. No batteries to worry about (except the AAA for the remote – batteries not included). With our signal being unpredictable, it’s nice that it’s not wireless. This comes with a few cords you need, a tripod to stand on, and a great protective case to keep everything together. The picture quality is awesome, and the sound is good for indoors (like if you’re in a basement or movie room or something), but definitely needs more sound when outside. I plugged in a set of computer speakers and they worked wonderfully! I did try to hook up my JBL Bluetooth speaker, but couldn’t get sound out of it one connected. I’ll keep troubleshooting with it.I only have one negative that I could say about it as of right now, after only having it a few days. I love that it allows you to hook up your phone so you can watch from your streaming services, but what I didn’t realize until I looked more into the manual, was that you need a special cord that is NOT included. For iPhone it’s a lightning to HDMI adapter, and I can’t recall the name of the cord needed for Android users. From what I can tell, the cords are $15-20 each right through Amazon, and I found one for $17 that can be used on iPhone or Android (instead of having to purchase multiple).Pictures attached are from trying in the house (movie: Enchanted), as it has been raining and I can’t get outside just yet. Super happy with the picture quality (it may look pixelated in the second image but that’s only because we didn’t pause the movie before taking the picture, so she’s just “in motion”) and excited for this weekend when we’ll be outside making smores and watching a movie. Truly a great purchase for our family!

Perfect for my outdoor oasis!
I bought this projector after doing a ton of research online and going back and forth on different models. This one seemed to have everything I was looking for – 1080P, Bluetooth so I could hook up to an additional speaker if needed, and came with a screen. All for a reasonable price as I was not looking to spend a fortune on an outdoor projector.I bought this so we could watch movies or tv outside on our deck with the family and this set was perfect. The picture quality is fabulous, actually better than I expected!! The brightness is great when it’s dark out – we cannot use before sunset as it’s too light to see anything. But that’s okay as this was expected. There is also no issue with the picture being affected by my outdoor lighting that hangs above the screen. The sound from the built in speakers is great and I have not needed to hook up to an external speaker. The remote was easy to use. We use with a Roku streaming stick and it works flawlessly to watch Netflix, or Disney + or HBO Max. I spend all my nights watching tv outside now with this new set up! The screen it comes with is basic but works great and it came with sticky hooks that I hung on the siding of the house. The screen is similar to a white sheet, no black backing but black along the sides with grommets to allow you to hang the screen using hooks or it also comes with rope. We used the hooks and it works great! All in all, very satisfied and happy with this purchase!! It’s honestly better than I expected! If you are like me and struggling to decide, just go for it! You won’t be sorry!!

Pretty decent for the price
Been wanting a projector to watch movies outdoors for awhile is and finally bought this after being overwhelmed reading reviews. I’ve used it a few times already, once on a porch lit up with Halloween lights and decorations and once in my darker back yard partially lit with party lights and street light. Both times picture quality was decent on my 100 “ screen, but obviously not like they advertise in their pictures. Remote was easy to use too. One thing I recommend is get a Bluetooth speaker. The sound quality is not that great and volume was low, hence the 4 stars. First night we watched a dvd and it was hard to hear on max volume. Second time we used an old fire stick I had and I connected the projector to a JBL flip 4 Bluetooth speaker I just bought and the sound was awesome. Connecting to my Bluetooth speaker was super easy too. We were easily able to connect to Netflix and other streaming apps with a fire stick. You won’t be able to stream throes apps through your phone wirelessly. Would recommend this if you’re looking for an affordable projector.

Great Projector
I ordered this projector on Wednesday and got it Thursday night. It comes with everything that was in the description and it has great quality picture. The fan is low which is good so you barely hear it. I recommend you use a Bluetooth speaker or sound bar for the audio, I use a sound bar and the Bluetooth works great. The dvd player works great as i tested a movie on it and it played good, just remember to take out the card before placing the dvd in. Please read the instructions it’s really simple to follow and it doesn’t hold a lot of information to be having you read a long time it’s fast and simple. Highly recommend this projector.

Not That Good Barely Ok In The Dark 😕
This projector could be good but it falls way short. It’s about the only one with a DVD player. Let’s get into it. 😉Under the best conditions which is in the dark its watchable but its very dark opaque and sometimes grainy. Some things come in clear like well lit or bright outside shots or well lit scenes. It has problems with browns and reds which dominates outdoor scenes. The darks are too dark you can’t make anything out and the lights are blown out if you adjust the brightness and contrast. What looks good in one setting looks bad in another. Skin tones lean warm and overall colors are ok in outdoor scenes but a mess indoors. A lot of things are blown out washed out or over saturated. In low light situations with ambient light everything is muddy. It’s best in complete darkness. That’s with a 4k streaming stick and it displays 1080p. Interpolated no doubt. Jump into the DVD player and here comes the biggest disappointment. It’s 480p. That’s right 480p. It looks worse. Muddy opaque washed out over saturated and pixelated. It’s like watching a VHS copy of a bootleg. 😐The sound coming out of the built in speaker is cheap tinny and hollow ok in a pinch. The BT hooks up fast n easy sometimes being occasionally little finicky. The sound quality that it puts out is good surround sound. Just get a good soundbar or speaker. The keystone is not enough. You will have to prop this projector up put it on a tripod. The focus is like a lot of these lower end projectors. What’s clear in one area is blurry in another. For the money you’re better off buying a separate DVD player and connecting it to your projector. The build quality seems ok the remote is ok the options are ok but we’re talking about a device that shows picture and unfortunately that picture quality is not that good worse in the DVD feature.Keep in mind as you look at a lot of these reviews showing pictures they look better than they really are because the camera they are using corrects the image. It has a DVD player and BT and streams 720p but I would not buy it again or recommend it.UPDATE: I found an odd adjustment that can improve the picture quality but only slightly. If you go into the DVD and hit the setup button on the remote it opens up a menu where you can adjust video. More contrast brightness saturation sharpness and hue adjustment. 🤔 It’s only available when you’re using the DVD.These settings make a bigger difference than the regular menu settings. However now there’s a permanent disclaimer on the top of the screen that reads ” Device Not Support ” This will not go away no matter what. 😐 For the money the performance is to low and unrefined. If you look at my pics you can tell which ones are in ambient light and which ones are in the dark. Side note if you have a power flicker it will turn on the projector leaving it on until you come home. Happened to me twice. Just in case so it’s not a fire hazard I leave it unplugged when not in use.

Needs better sound
Update the company has reached out and offered an upgrade in which we did receive. Great customer service. We finally figure this thing out after a few years. Thought we could Bluetooth our phones which we can’t. DVD player works..Bought a fire stick and have used it that way since. The sound could be better you have to literally sit right next to it to hear. Tried to hook up to 2 different Bluetooth speakers and will not connect. Still trying to figure out to improve sound.

A great little projector with big results
Our family has been using this projector several times over the past week now and I am seriously impressed.First impression out of the box was great. The projector comes in a nice, sturdy case that has a divider to secure the projector from the accessories. Everything you need will fit in the case and can be safely tucked away after use. I actually didn’t realize it came with the case so I was very happy to open that. The accessories are easy to use and good quality. We have used the remote control, the HD cable and the stand. The stand is easy to put on and works well to get whatever angle you need. For example, we were able to put the projector stand on the kitchen counter and project downward when the kids wanted to watch a movie on the wall.We have thus far watched DVDs and also connected to the laptop with the HD cable to watch family videos from the computer. Both were easy to do and had a good quality picture. We haven’t bought a projection screen yet (we will be doing that soon) but the projector works great on a plain wall. Our goal for the summer will be to either project outside on a screen or just use it on the garage door or siding, which I think will work well.I was also impressed with the volume. The sound is clear and loud enough to work great indoors by itself without an extra speaker or soundbar. We may connect it to a speaker for outdoor use though just to give it a little boost, if there are a lot of other people also listening to the movie.Overall, very happy with this projector!

Updated Review
Update: The company reached out to me thinking it may have been defective. I was sent another. This unit did not have any focus issues and I was able to hook up my phone with this unit. But I did find using the cable worked well because I got one that charges as well as connects. This allows my phone to stay charged for long movie sessions. This unit was brighter but I wish it was brighter still maybe in the next model. I still appreciate the fact the dvd is built in.I would still suggest an external Bluetooth speaker if using in loud area. Fan sound did not distract me.The original reasons I sent it back were above but also after I bought it one day later it went down 45 dollars in price. I will update after I attempt to run apps. I do like the fact they reached out to me to fix the issues.

Great picture before it’s even dark out
It’s not dark yet and the picture so far is impressive—using the tripod and the dial on the back to adjust the angle, it’s extremely crisp and I’m impressed. I was concerned about the audio, but if sitting within a few feet of it, it’s good so far. Set up was easy—im Using a fire stick, but tested the dvd player and no issues there at all. Pretty excited now (whereas I was worried before trying it out, if I’m being honest).

It’s literally fine
There’s a lot of different things to consider when buying a projector. There’s a lot of things that you won’t understand until you’ve bought a projector. That’s fine, you don’t have a reference so you’re scanning through all the comments wondering what to get in this price range. I’ll put it this way: You just want a picture you can see and you want to be able to have decent audio when watching a movie? This works for that. There’s better, and if you want to do the research on all of it, more power to you. This isn’t a steal, you’re paying for 1080p and it being bright enough that, despite the idea the room should be as dark as possible, you can still watch videos letting in a little sunlight. If you can’t make a choice then just grab this one because I couldn’t redirect you to a better one for the same price to fit everyone’s specific needs. It works if you can settle for casual use just like a 60hz monitor works for casual gaming. I hope that’s a helpful input for anyone that can’t settle on all the different choices

A GREAT buy!
This compact projector was PERFECT for what we wanted it for. The sound was PLENTY loud enough, even without a blue tooth speaker and the picture was crisp and clean. The only thing I have a little issue with is that the height of the tripod isn’t adjustable. It may have been MEANT to be, but it keeps sliding down to the lowest under the weight of the projector, which really isn’t a big deal, I just needed it to be a little higher. Other than that tiny issue- it is GREAT and we love it!

Good image quality, mediocre sound. Overall, it’s a decent projector for the price!
The media could not be loaded.
This was my first projector so I wasnt sure what to expect. First off, It came in a nice little carrying case that was neatly packaged. It included a remote, a tripod, and multiple other accesories.I purchased it while it was heavily discounted and I think it was just the right price for it. The image quality was actually pretty decent, but the sound quality wasnt the greatest. It sounded like you were watching a movie in a cave. But, the volume was nice and loud.Overall, it’s a decent little projector!

Great for outdoor movie nights!
The media could not be loaded.
Great product overall! Easy to figure out and setup. Comes in a super nice carrying case that makes it easy to pack up and keep it protected. The projector itself is pretty straightforward. It’s plastic but sturdy and the buttons don’t seem cheap. It comes with a small tripod that’s very stable and makes it easy to adjust for better picture angle. I’ve only used the HDMI function so far (hooks up to my laptop) so can’t speak for other functions…but the picture quality from it is great. Very simple and quick setup. And then I just use my Bluetooth speaker for audio. Works great. At night, the image lays really nice on the side of the house, so no sheet or anything even needed. Only downside I would say is that it’s not super bright, so you really have to wait for it to be pretty dark in order to get the best quality picture. (I’ve included a video when it was a bit lighter out so you can see some difference.) Overall I’m so glad I bought this, and friends love coming over for movie nights now since we can sit by the fire with it. 🙂

Great Product and a great price
Just received this and my kids were so excited to set it up. Originally purchased so we can enjoy backyard movies over the summer with the neighbors. But because we did not have time to set it up in the backyard we set it up inside just to try it. My living room gets a lot of light during the afternoon. But the picture was still bright and amazing. The internal speaker works great but we paired it with an external speaker and it paired easily not problems. This is not wireless but I have always had problems mirroring my apple products to my TVs and this has always been hit or miss so I wanted something I can hardwire in. We hooked up the Xbox and the Amazon Firestick and they both worked great. Very easy to set up. There is a small fan sound that you really can’t hear. The size is decent. I have not tired the screen that was included but its basically a very very thin blanket so it seams easy to fold up and put all away. This is a great product for the price. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Updated review
The media could not be loaded.
Well so excited about receiving my projector. Read all the reviews and thought why not give it a try. When I first used it the picture wasn’t to bad but as you can see in the pictures my room was pretty dark. The picture quality was ok but for the amount of limes I would excepted a brighter picture. I also think the the contrast ratio of 8000:1 should have given a clearer picture. I tried the focus and keystone. Keystone would have been nice if it was horizontal and vertical. The speakers were pretty good but I did connect with my Bose speaker. Overall, this is a descent projector if your planning to only use at night. Almost forgot, I enclosed a video of the on/off button wouldn’t work. I had to unplug the power cord. Don’t know what’s going on with this. But it did work after that. Just a glitch I guess. Well hope this helps everyone in your decision. Good luck.Update: the company was nice enough to contact me and correct the problem I was having. They really do stand by their product. Everything works as it should and I am very very happy. Thanks again!!!

Audio/Bluetooth speaker hard to hear
I purchase this product last year; however, due to dire events happened in our life’s we were not able to set it up until last night. I’m having a difficult time hearing the sound is very very low. I connect my Bluetooth speaker and still hard to hear. Do you have any recommendations what could that be or how to fix it? The screen is not very clear either, but it works. I’m just I little upset because if I can’t hear the sound will be pointless to use it.

Great projector for the family
Our family loves having movie nights outside. Feels like your at the drive-in but without all the other people and it’s in your own yard! We just hung a twin sheet against our house and it worked out great. The picture is really nice especially when it is dark out. Two negatives so far: the sound is very low and it doesn’t play blu-ray (which we knew when we purchased, however it limits what we can watch). We can live without it playing blu-rays but thankfully we had some old speakers that worked out really well. Plan on buying some if you don’t have any already. We haven’t tried hooking up our Roku yet so we plan on trying that next. Very reasonable price and highly recommend.

Great projector!
We got this projector so we could show DVD movies in the backyard and while camping. We are always skeptical of buying electronic items over the internet, but we love this projector! The best thing is the DVD player, which is part of the projector! No extra pieces of equipment to carry or worry about hooking up and/or having compatibility issues of a separate piece of electronics. So easy to use. We also love the fact that the remote can be used from the front or back of the projector since there is a remote sensor on both sides of the unit. You do need to make sure you have a surface to view the startup logo of the projector. From there, you can use the menu options from the unit or remote to customize many of the features. Love the Bluetooth audio option with this unit. When using this projector outside, the sound has no walls to bounce off, so the sound from the internal speaker is not adequate. We purchased a 100W Bluetooth speaker to use with this projector. It paired easily the first time and then pairs up quickly with the speaker anytime we turn everything on. So easy. I gave it four stars because the speaker on the projector when using outside is not adequate. We also like that is was very reasonably priced, which enabled us to purchase it for future fun and entertainment! We wish it had a carrying case as part of the package. Taking it in and out of the box for safe traveling and storage is a bit cumbersome.

Great projector at a great price
The media could not be loaded.
This is my first ever projector so I didn’t want anything too expensive. I looked at many different ones on Amazon and came across this Bigasuo. At the time priced at $140 with a $20 off coupon so this was right up my ally. It came in less than 24 hrs and there was zero damage to the box, so that’s always a huge plus.Let me tell you, I am blown away by the sharpness and crispness of the picture quality and the built in speaker is decent. As you can see in the video I’m telling the truth haha. There isn’t much more to say that I didn’t say in the video, other than if there are any changes in quality I will update my review but for now it is 100% a 5 STAR rating projector. At the price it can’t be beat.

Noisy, poor sound, dim, but functional
I used this extensively (as my only TV like device) for about 6 months. It got the job done, but had some irritating flaws.1) When watching a DVD, the drive could be fairly loud, and the fan is always pretty loud.2) The audio output was not consistent – there seemed to be an issue with the amplifier. I got different results when using the cable, vs using bluetooth. I ended up always resorting to external bluetooth speakers.3) The picture is dim. This is basically only usable at night and/or somewhere with good window covers. Additionally, the picture is not evenly lit.I go this one specially because it had the built in DVD player. If you don’t need that, I think there are better options in this price range. If you need the DVD player, and the flaws above aren’t deal breakers, this worked fine. I used it a lot, and it served its purpose.

Nice projector
I really like this projector. The DVD player works great. I did hook up a set of external speakers as the sound isn’t very loud if you have a large viewing area. We did it in our big backyard. The image was on a king-size sheet and took up the entire area. The image was good. You have to play around with the settings to get it the right brightness, color tint, etc. It comes with a little stand which works well. I have used it 3 times and it has been great so far. I definitely recommend this projector.

Great Picture, good DVD player, not very much sound.
Bottom line is that I am very satisfied with this unit and would certainly replace it with another if anything happened to it.The built in DVD works well, the HDMI connection accommodates a Blue Ray player. The built in speaker is not very loud (my guess ours is in the region of 2 watts music power (similar to a small hand held radio). The Blue tooth connection works, but connecting it to our music system it took a lot of volume to get a good sound and introduced noticeable latency. However using the Aux connection corrected those issues and provided a really good quality sound, so I concluded that the built in sound processor basically works well, but leaves the question open of whether the unit’s Bluetooth transmitter or my (Music System) receiver circuit that introduced the latency issue. Either way – if I were to buy a sound bar for it, I would make sure it has an Aux connection as well as Bluetooth.

Remote control only works with DVD option
Overall great buy for the money. We used it for reverse projection outside for movie night with neighbors. The color is good, picture is fairly crisp, and brightness is great. Set-up was okay according to my husband, we hooked it to my laptop to stream Disney+ and it was successful. The only issue I had was that the remote doesn’t interact with the laptop, only if you’re playing something with the integrated DVD player which is unfortunate.

A good deal
The good: very sharp, built in DVD (not bluray), good connectivity, I power my Firestick with the USB outlet. Bluetooth works great to bring out more sound. The bad: a few more lumens would let me use this in brighter conditions, it has to be used at dusk or later. The remote is impossible to then read in the low light, so that’s kind of dumb. In totally open conditions like a backyard, the built-in speakers may lack sufficient power.

Edit: Check to make sure everything works!
I ordered one of these on Prime day, unboxed it, and the DVD player didn’t work. I plugged it into another DVD player and got it to work, but that really defeats the purpose of this projector. I exchanged that unit for another one, which appeared to be brand new. However, it was beyond the return date once I got around to trying this one out. I discovered that not only had it already been set up (in another language), but the image is super dim and the DVD player doesn’t work in this one either.Edit: I thought I was out of luck and then their customer service department contacted me. They took extremely good care of me and third time’s a charm, this one works just like I had hoped it would. We’ve used it in out back yard a couple times, and we’ve even taken it camping with us!

Value for money!
Purchased for use in the garden, movie & sports nights at home, was sceptical given the price, however it’s a brilliant little projector.- Picture quality is very good with a FireStick plugged in.- Don’t expect it to be brilliant in sunlight, this is for late nights in the garden or movie nights at home with the lights dimmed for best use.- Sound from the projector is great on surround.- Projector is a little noisy but you get used to it.- Connecting bluetooth devised for audio isn’t great, i.e. connected to an Alexa or soundbar, there is a lag from video to audio by half a second. But the built in speakers are decent enough or you can plug the speakers in to projector to solve this.- Video quality is very good, you will get HD video.- Screen also does the job (felt fabric) comes with sticky hooks & string. Does the job for ad-hoc use.Overall good value for money, this is a projector you bring out for sports, movies, entertaining – not to have installed permanently & for that it’s brilliant!!!

Its okay if I can figure out how to get the zoom ratio to go away
I got this movie projector for a small space in my bedroom that I could play movies on while I chill in bed. Its not a large space, but because this projector advertised that there was a zoom option, I gave it a go and thought it would work perfect. It does for the most part, but it irritates the heck out of me when I zoom in, and the ratio text stays projected on top. I cant find a settings to turn it off and It has been bothering me so much that I hardly use the projector now. Most likely will replace it with a different one soon.

washed out image
Ok so first of all this is not a $1500 minimum true 4k projector and you get what you pay for. What you are getting is a 1080 projector of course so ignore all of the reviews claiming that it’s as good aBig screen TV.In general projectors are pretty poor image quality.Trying to stretch a regular HD image to 120 inches for example will only make the image worse.Add to that the fact that it will never focus evenly across the screen andhas to be used in total or near total dark and what you have is something that’s pretty cool but has its limitations. Oh and also it’ll probably have to be placed where you already have something (like your couch). Then there’s cables and power leads you need to work or walk around. All things that aren’t an issue with a TV.Now if you are looking to set it up in the back yard to watch the game or a movie then that’s another thing. Now to the actual projector I received.Pros:The speakers are pretty good.It has a small footprint, and the design isn’t hideous. It has plenty of inputs.Cons:The menu (at least on mine) only works when it wants too. When projecting on a 120 inch screen there is a permanent black mark projected which is about the size of a nice fat house fly.No matter what input or setting the image is washed out. I’m not looking for super deep blacks but something better that a very pale gray which is what I get. It’s the same with TV, 4K amazon fire stick or output from a pc. I’ve tried changing the bulb brightness. The image size ( zoom ). Moving the projector backwards and forwards. Changing the user picture settings and using in complete dark. Nothing fixes it.it’s just varying levels of washed-out images where the blacks are light gray and the white images bleach out.Maybe I got a bad one and perhaps maybe I got a bad screen.Either way this one’s going back because of the permanent house fly. When I get the replacement, if it is any better, I’ll write another review.

Perfect – DVD player and HDMI hookup so I can watch Netflix
The media could not be loaded.
UPDATE – started to randomly emit sparks after a year or so, seemed kind of dangerous (to us and to our laptops that we had connected to this projector with the HDMI cable)previous review:I am thrilled with this BIGASUO dvd projector, it was so easy to set it up and start watching our old DVDs on the living room wall and once we even watched Netflix on the ceiling when we felt like lying down! The page on Amazon doesn’t say how long the bulb should last but I am hoping it’s similar to the BIGASUO mini bluetooth projector (this page says 50,000 hours https://www.amazon.com/BIGASUO-Projector-Bluetooth-Compatible-Supported/dp/B07F5FH4WD).I didn’t think we’d be able to watch anything but DVDs on this but it came with an HDMI cable to hook up to our Macs. I have the new MacBook Air with the M1 chip (2020) and (very disappointing) the computer doesn’t have standard USB ports BUT I had bought the Purgo USB C Hub Adapter Dock for my Mac (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PFNV82M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and–surprise!–the adapter came with an HDMI port in addition to standard USB ports. So I was able to hook up the projector to the Mac and watch streaming movies and shows! Then I discovered that instead of screwing the projector into the small tripod it came with, I could use my extra tall smartphone/camera tripod (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08D6KM95D/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) to get whatever height I want…low for when we are sitting on the floor or high if I want to give myself a break from sitting and stand or walk on the treadmill. It takes up very little space, way better than putting the projector on a desk or table.I bought separate speakers as recommended by other reviewers. I got wired + bluetooth speakers so I can hook them up (wired) to the projector when watching DVDs or to my Mac (wired or bluetooth) when watching YouTube or other streaming content.I love having a projector that I can put away as opposed to the big tv/eyesore we used to have as the focal point of the sitting room.

Amazing value! Easy to use! Very happy!
AMAZING VALUE!! Our favorite family past time used to be going to the movie theater, due to this virus we have not been to the movies in over a year now..my husband partially finished the basement to set up a mini movie theater for us .This was the best value I could find for features, and the fact that it came with its own projection screen was the ultimate deciding factor.I haven’t used a protector in years, these have come along way! I can not believe how quiet it is. it did not interrupt the sound from the cinematic experience whatsoever..It’s wide versatility is awesome!Able to stream from my iPhone 12 seamlessly. We are able to stream our favorite subscription movie and video applications with ease. The picture quality is amazing! Totally surpassed my expectations for a projector! My husband was able to set it up within 5 minutes, extremely easy and user-friendly!Compact sturdy machine, totally designed to last!Extremely happy with this purchase!Screen is lightweight and works perfectly.Remote control is handy for the kids to use it.Who needs to spend hundreds of dollars to take their family out to the movies anymore? Not me!!

UPDATE: A+ customer service!
UPDATE:Company reached out to me via email and offered to either send me a new projector or refund me after seeing my review. They don’t like unhappy customers. I appreciate this SO much! I gladly accepted a new projector. I loved my first one before it stopped working. Today I set it up and I’m back to being a huge fan of this product! I can tell instantly that this projector worked properly. Better picture, better sound, better everything then the initial projector I received (even though it’s the same exact item). The old projector had to of been defective. Love love love the replacement one. I setup a movie theatre of sorts in my garage. I purchased a sound bar for even better sound this time (something I didn’t do with initial projector). It was super easy to connect. I don’t think I’ll be leaving my garage for days. I think I also may be buying a second projector to use inside. Thats how happy I am with this company!!Original review:Purchased July 15th. Today is August 24th. I use the projector to watch movies using the hdmi port. I plug in my amazon fire stick. Last night it was working fine then the screen went black. I thought it fell asleep. Tried clicking my remote to wake it up and it wouldn’t work. I then went and changed the batteries thinking my remote died. Nope. Still didn’t work. I then switched the fire stick to the second port. Same problem. Then I thought the problem was the fire stick. It’s a few years old. Nope. I plugged the fire stick into my living room tv and it immediately turned on. I’m so pissed. To spend this amount of money on the projector and have it break this fast is bullsh**. Return window is closed and now I’m stuck with this junk. What the hell?

Update: Manufacturer contacted me after seeing my review, and offered me a full refund.
Update: Manufacturer contacted me after seeing my review, and offered me a full refund. A full refund was issued to my PayPal account. I am changing the rating to 2 stars. I would not recommend this product. However, the manufacturer did resolve the issue.I would give zero stars if I could. I would NOT recommend purchasing this product OR anything from this manufacturer as they don’t stand behind their products. We had this projector less than a year when we contacted the manufacturer to explain it worked great the first two times we used it in our backyard, but when we used it for the third time, there was a rattle that was sooo loud we couldn’t hear the dialogue over rattle (we’ve tried with a Bose Bluetooth external speaker and without – and the rattle drowns out the dialogue). It’s been under a year, and only used twice and so I figured it must be defective. I submitted a video of what was happening and requested a replacement for this item. Here’s the response I received…“Dear customer,Thanks for the video and sorry for the inconvenience.Regarding the sound of the projector, sorry it may be the sound of the fan running to cool down the projector, for this issue, we wonder would you please try to reset the projector to see if the issue would be improved? Here are the steps to reset:1. Press MENU button and enter the home page.2. Enter the Setup page.3. Find the Advanced and jump down the button to last option-Restore Factory Default.4. Press enter to reset the device. Also, regarding replacement, sorry that your order has been placed for over 3 months. Based on the policy of our company, an order which over 3 months is not eligible for free replacement or full refund. Sorry for the inconvenience and hope for your understand. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.Best wishes, xxxx“ (name omitted for confidentiality)Whether defective or a faulty design, they were unwilling to do anything for us. I tried the factory reset, and again after 30 minutes the rattle started up and drowned out the dialogue. A rattle is apparently to be expected?!?! 🤯 Who designs a projector with a fab system that emits such a loud noise that customers can’t hear movie dialogue??? 🙄 It says a lot when a company will not stand behind their product beyond 3 months. I live in the PNW where outdoor movie nights are infrequent due to our weather conditions. I wish we’d used it a third time right away, so we could’ve gotten a refund. I strongly recommend no one purchases this product or any products from this manufacturer. You’re wasting your money if you do!

This Projector Rocks
Originally bought projector 1 1/2 years ago because it was the only one available that had built-in DVD player. Plays DVD’s fawlessly. Connects to Bluetooth speaker (Bose) automatically after pairing. Been a wonderful player for movie night with the grandchildren.Just got an analog to HDMI converter. I can now play my old VHS tapes which works great and sound is thru Bose speaker. Different era, but seeing old VCR recordings is special.Yes, the fan is a bit noisy, but that is small consideration. The ability to play DVD’s directly and VHS tapes with converter and connect to Bluetooth speaker makes this an extraordinary find.If you are all into streaming, this is not for you. But it you still believe there is value in having a tangible assest, be it a VHS tape, DVD, or even a book, I would highly recommend.

Great projector with some hiccups
While there is no wifi on this device I have to say it is an excellent little projector. The brightness is good…still can’t see it well in a room if there is sun coming in a window or our garage door even if the sun isn’t on that side of the house. That being said nobody really expected that. We bought a fire stick for it and watch Disney+ with the kids. The volume is good. It has Bluetooth and I connect my speaker to it occasionally. Nearly zero lag between Bluetooth speaker and video. The picture quality…well we have it pulled back to about a 90″ screen and I swear at times it is hard to not say it is better and more crisp than our 55″ LG in the living room. Very impressive picture quality. It does get hot very quickly and has occasional problems but I can’t say that the fire stick isn’t the culprit I just don’t think it is. So take that for what you will. Sometimes i will be going to the fire stick or already loaded an app and the projector will send us back to the menu screen and we’ll have to start all over. Only occasionally but It has done it 4 times in a row to me before. Still great projector and great value. Wish i could just stream wireless from my phone.
