SET this up to your viewing preference or get some assistance cause this is GREAT purchase!
So far this has been a great viewing experience WHEN YOU KNOW how to set-up your viewing preference with the remote. People complain because they have no idea how to set-up this device; which takes about 5 to 10 minutes or so. VERY SATISFIED WITH THIS PURCHASE FOLKS!! Enough said.

Really Nice TV.
I like that the set up was easy and the instructions for setting up was fairly easy to follow. The picture is really clear. Tip: keep the box to put in your old TV. Also, look at how your old TV is connected so that connecting your new TV can be seamless.

Easy setup, good picture and sound quality
It has a large enough display that I can see it while running laps in my basement, and the sound is loud and high quality so that i can hear and see it well from the far end of my laps. Easy assembly and setup.

Be warned – Sound is horrible!
I should have believed all the reviews about the bad sound. Nobody what I set it to the sound comes off as crap. Wish I had not listened to my wife and returned this when I could have.

I’ve seen children’s toys built better than this. It’s horrible cheaply made and light enough for a small kitten to push over. Never again will I buy from this vendor.

Remote doesn’t work.
How hard would it be to make sure your product works/functions correctly? Did every single Q.C. person quit your company? The T.V. works, can’t use the built in DVD player without the remote. Very disappointed. Obviously wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Assuming I’ll have to pay for a new remote.

Average picture quality
I should have done better homework. Picture quality is average, and with a slow refresh rate anything that scrolls is hard to read. Also, not Blue-Ray compatible, which I did not realize when I ordered. There are few makers of tvs with built in DVD players, which is what I needed. The product is adequate for my current needs, but certainly isn’t as ideal as I hoped it would be.

Great tv.
This is a great tv. I needed a tv in my motorhome and chose this one because of the built in dvd player. So convenient. It has a great picture. The only downside is the volume isn’t very loud. When the AC is on I can’t hear it set at maximum loudness. Otherwise it’s perfect.

Nice Tv for the money
I purchased this TV because I bought the exact TV for my daughter this past Christmas. However, they’re different. Her tv has Netflix and a few other apps already installed on it, the most recent tv I purchased does not. The picture is great and the speakers are really good! Just surprised that the most recent one did not have apps. I use a Fire-stick, so it’s not a big deal! Now, if I could only figure out how to program my remote, it’d be Great!

Incorrect mounting info
The VESA on this is 100×200. Not 100×100 as stated in some comments and question area.Thank goodness we had a 32” tv at home in the grandkid’s room we could switch out with this one for the camper that has the 100×100 VESA spacing. This one will go in the grandkids room with the legs mounted on, and their JVC will be mounted on our 100×100 paw in the camper. This is just another reason I do not like to buy things like this online.

Audio has menu MODES!
The menu button on the remote control works wonders. It controls picture, audio, and more. For audio there are MODES: STANDARD is the default, and in fact a negative review of that mode is justified. BUT there is a MOVIE mode and a MUSIC mode. I was listening to a familiar piano concerto with familiar earphones while testing audio modes. When I got to MUSIC, bingo: sound suddenly as good as I expected. Picture controls for color, brightness, etc are as expected for HDMI DVDs and streaming, AND when using as a PC monitor via VGA, the menu also precisely positions the PC pixel array vertically and horizontally within the 32 inch panel. In other words, the remote control menu greatly improves an initial out-of-the-box experience.

easy to set up, easy to use
Weighs very little, easy to set up and use, a good clear and bright picture. It is not a “smart” TV; I use it with Direct TV service. It works really well, the price was right, and it is just what I wanted. A previous reviewer did not like the sound, but I knew I’d be using a headphone and that has worked out well too. I’m glad I got it.

ok quality for the price, but could be better
For the price, it’s an ok TV with an alright picture, so I might buy it again. But, the first one arrived shattered, and the 2nd one arrived with a giant barcode glued to the screen – I still haven’t been able to remove it and am concerned I may damage the screen when I do remove it. Picture looks slightly cartoony, but again for the price it’s ok.

Wasn’t configured to be a computer monitor in the least. The refund process is slow and irritating.
I can’t say anything about what sort of television this is, because we purchased it to use as a computer monitor to replace a similarly-sized (32 inch) TV that developed a power supply problem (they are not worth trying to repair). After many hours of trying to get this TV to work with our Windows 10 computer, we gave up and started the return process. We could never get the aspect ratio correct or even get the display centered, which is strange because we use TVs as monitors for both of our other computers, and all we had to do was connect them to the computer and everything works very well. The return process started smoothly, UPS picked the TV up from our house and it was back in the vendor’s hands within a week of us purchasing it, per the UPS tracking which we followed closely. So far, the vendor has had their TV back for going on three weeks now, and yet no refund has been issued. I know Amazon says “up to 30 days” to receive a refund, but I don’t see a reason for this delay, as the TV has been returned and received in very quick fashion. This TV is NOT a good choice if you intend to use it as a monitor, as many people do. Please don’t expect a speedy refund if you choose to return it to the seller, however, no matter how quickly you return it to them. I can’t give their customer service high marks at all because of this.UPDATE: The refund finally went through, after the seller had the TV back in their possession for nearly four weeks. This will definitely affect my willingness to purchase expensive items from Amazon in the future. There just isn’t any excuse to act so slowly about refunding a person’s money. When we contacted Amazon about the status of the refund, we were asked if we’d prefer a gift card instead of a refund, which took nerve on their part. I’ll be purchasing my next TV or monitor from Walmart, I believe, where I can deal with these issues face-to-face should they happen.

A basic (unsmart) LEDTV with horrible speakers
I know what you’re thinking: then why the 4 starz if it’s basic with crappy speakers. Right? Ok, well I needed a TV with no “smart” capabilities—I just needed a basic flat screen TV (for a bedroom) which was fresh on the shelf with a low price tag. This one hit that mark. The picture is not horrible but it’s also not spectacular either (better than some, not as great as many others.) Besides the attached power cable (I prefer the power cable to have its own designated port in), and its annoyingly shrill & raspy sound, this TV hit all my marks! Actually what’s more important to me about a flat TV is connectivity & this model offered far more than most @ 720p/60hz. 3 HDMIs (in)[1 of which is ARC—it can interfere with the performance of the other HDMIs *and is also not eARC* so this contributed to the loss of 1 star], PC(w/ a PC sound port), fiberoptic digital audio (out), and (the piece of resistance) a superb grandfinalè of a 3.5mm headphone AUX (out) port (this was just the best thing to find on the rear panel of the TV… ThE BeSt). Which brings me to my next point: speakers. Let’s be honest, now; MoSt TVs have garbage for speakers (including many higher priced models). Well, with the ARC connectivity you can HDMI easily to a supporting soundbar or home theater system and with that fiberoptic or the AUX (outs), you can connect the TV sound easily even to older sound systems (just as I did with a Pioneer surround system from 2010). So the factory speakers were not a salepoint to me in the first place and barely affected the star rating at all. If you’re looking for the perfect, all-in-1 TV; sound performance & detachable power cord had better not be a high priority for you with this model. However, if you need entertainment in another room from a smaller, better fitting screen size which happens to also support versatile connectivity; then this is the model for you to save some money on. And TV designers & retailers should take note here because many “smart” TVs are really a menace to deal with and some people know what they need without the “smart” functionalty; so maybe don’t forget to stock some normal TVs for shoppers who are sick of how dumb many “smart” TVs actually are. Maybe design *ALL* TVs to have a smart *option* which can be used or not or even blocked from functioning so that the device will actually just work like a damned easy-to-use-basic TV. That’s what I needed, that’s what I found & bought so to me this TV is nothing but value -AnD- it’s gravy to hook-up & use! But go get that great, big-ol’ expensive picture & spectacular sound with its 1 (maybe 2) HDMI ports. My son is in his bedroom gaming & viewing on a pretty 32″ with surround & it was well below the projected “son’s room entertainment upgrade” budget which made a happy wifey. *AnD* he loves it because whatever sound the TV should be making is perfectly synced & blasting with surround-depth-of-sound, without blinding him & backlight-bleach-fading the paint off the walls while also potentially causing photo induced seizures & motion sickness. Like I said, nothing but value competetively priced.

Nice TV for the price
The reason I got this Tv was mainly because it had a built in DVD player. That being said – the DVD works very well and pleased with it.My only complaint over all is that the TV sound is not very good and doesn’t get very loud either. It’s ok but that’s about it . It’s very Treble sounding. I tried adjusting the sound but it didn’t help much at all. Going yo see if I can’t add speaker or soundbar later on. Other than that- you get what you pay for. It’s ok and that’s about it.

Great, just what I was looking for my DireTV service.
Great picture, sharp. Audio & volume control good. Very easy set up to DirecTV. DVD easy to operate. Audio quality not great. Sounds like an amplified speaker phone, no matter what adjustments are tried. Have to use 2 remotes; one for volume & mute, the other for DirectV channels, menu, lists, guide, etc.

Wall mount disaster
TV works great but it’ll never mount to the wall now. The screws that came with the TV wouldn’t screw in all the way. 2 of them are now stripped from me turning and turning and turning in vain, and the other 2 actually broke off in the holes. So now I can’t even get them out if I tried. Guess my next purchase will be a TV cabinet.

Worst speakers ever
The good news is that I purchased this to serve as a computer monitor, so I have an alternate source of output sound as a result. That said, DO NOT purchase this item if you require the sound from it. These are the worst speakers I’ve ever had on a monitor. Even with all the “audio enhancements” activated, everything sounds like you’re trapped in a metal box.Overall, the picture is perfectly fine for what I need, so if you only need a video display and have an alternate sound output source, this monitor is solid.

Astonishingly terrible
It was a genuine surprise how bad this tv is. The speaker sounds like a literal cell phone speaker. Like if you’ve ever placed your phone in a glass dish to amplify the sound, you know what this tv sounds like. My 9 year old asked why the tv has an echo, lol. Also, the DVD player doesn’t…play DVDs. It played one out of the 5 or so that I tried before I gave up. All the DVDs I chose work on our other DVD player. (See pictures for the error message I kept getting) So all around this was a major irritation. The $89 Insignia we had before this was 100% better quality. Buy this if you enjoy disappointment.

great picture…lousy sound
I have only had this tv a few days–Amazon got it here on time–they had their delivery trucks deliver it most of the way–and only entrusted it to USPS for the last leg of the journey–which meant it got here in good condition and on time! It was pretty easy to set up-the picture quality is great and I am happy with that–but the sound is verrryyy tinny. It is a very skinny TV-have heard this effects the sound. I immediately purchased a sound bar to help with that issue. I haven’t had any problems with the remote-seems pretty basic-but it is nice and thin. The DVD player is in an awkward place…haven’t even tried it–but there is no extra set up required for it–which is nice if you don’t have unlimited outlets (1 plug for tv and player). there are outlets for your own player if you decide you don’t like the built in.## Soundbar made all the difference!
