I was satisfied with the product. I hadn’t used my CD player for a number of years. The first time i put the disc in, my player didn’t recognize it. However, when I flipped it over, the cleaning process started. Who knows? Anyway, I am very happy with the CD cleaner disc. Great product.

Worked
We had to run it 3 times but our DVD player is in the living room close to our woodstove so it probably needed “extra help”. I can’t say it was miraculous or outstanding, but it “seems” to have worked? Since it was also low cost I didn’t expect it to perform top of the line, but in that price point it seems to have done better than expected.

100% Car CD back in business!
When my CD player in my Toyota started to skip tracks I thought I was doomed to listen to FM radio, which is not good in my area. I ordered the cleaner and my CD player is back in business. Very easy to use and the music on the cleaner cd is fine although some people objected to the music selections. There is only 6 tracks on the cleaner and takes about 30 minutes to clean.

Returned as I didn’t need it
My Uncle’s cd player wasn’t reading discs and thought the lens needed to be cleaned. Turned out the laser needed to be replaced. So I wasn’t able to actually use this in his cd player. However, we did use it to clean his DVD player and it seems to have worked. DVDs no longer skip or need to be removed and reinserted.

The CD player in my 2006 Altima would load but not play
This disc did the trick ! I just loaded it, let it play some tunes and in about 40 minutes I was able to play discs again with no trouble. It worked like magic !

Received it today cleaned my two DVD players which worked very good but my bose disc changer that’s from 2008. It cleared one of them and the first top one skips all the way through does not work I am not bothering to return a $9 item. I guess it would’ve been better if I got a better cleaner or it could be my machine

To make sure your dvd player continues to work, you need to make sure that your dvds are clean. This cleaner works well and is easy to use. It takes a few minutes, but will keep your machine and discs in running order!

Please check to see if it is compatible with your CD Player
So, first off, my bad. I didn’t read the compatible list. I didn’t think a CD lense cleaner would not work in all CD Players. I have a BOSE, which is on their list of incompatible (see pic). So, the seller is a good seller, and did contact me, because I rated the seller 3 Stars (don’t know how to change it). But my lense cleaner is still defective, as I tried it in my portable sony cd player and it started to play, but as it got to a certain spot it would skip or not play and then continue. I can see a spot on the disk cleaner, but could not get a picture, due to the reflectivness of the surface of the CD cleaner. I decided not to try and return it, due to inconvenience. I would recommend this, but check the list before you purchase. Hope this helps.

Works Super
I was receiving a check disk error after trying to use the CD player in my car. I put this cleaner in the CD unit, it has little brushes on the bottom side to clean the optical reader head. I initially received a check disk error. So, I ejected it, and loaded it back into the player. I hit the advance track button to the third track. It started playing so music. I let it play for a minute or so and ejected it. Put in one of my CD’s and it played fine. The optical reader head must have picked up some dust.

Solved the DVD player problem
Product did a great job of cleaning the DVD player lens so that it could play correctly. It only took a couple of runs through and the DVD’s I was trying to play, worked great. I strongly recommend this product.

Fixed My DVD Player
Our old DVD player kept randomly pausing and playing on its own. Popped this in and let it run. It played cute songs for about 40 minutes and now our DVD player is back to normal!

I purchased this product in an effort to keep from having to replace a radio/CD player. It worked beautifully in cleaning the CD player and surprisingly, started playing music itself. It has a nice selection of classical music it plays while cleaning. Once I heard the music, I knew it had done its job.

Honest review of Arsvita CD Laser Lens Cleaner Disc Cleaning Set for CD/VCD/DVD Player, Safe and Effective @ $8.99 at time of order.I ordered this hoping it would resolve the issue that I had with an older car with a 6-CD changer that I acquired in that it did not appear to be reading the CDs. I inserted this cleaning disc in the changer, it loaded, but nothing happened except for the same blinking on my CD player screen as with any other CD. So, I inserted this cleaning disc into my newer vehicle’s CD player. It immediately loaded and began playing music while displaying an icon likened to the disc cleaning. I shared all of this in the event that perhaps others would know to try it a CD/DVD/VCD player that you know is working if this cleaning disc does not work in one that you were having problems with already. I was not experiencing any problems with my newer vehicle’s CD player, so this was utilized as a maintenance cleaner in it. Other than saying it might take up to 30 minutes to complete cleaning, there are ZERO instructions or guidelines. Made in China, of course.Likes:Amazon Prime shipping, returns & refunds.Reasonable price.Ease of use.Plays music so you know it’s at least being read by the player.A cleaning/playing icon appears on my vehicle’s touch screen as an added notification that it is doing something.Glasses lens-type CD cleaning cloth provided.Dislikes:It seems that 20 to 30 minutes cleaning time is too long. I cannot afford to let my vehicle sit and idle while this cleans. I don’t want to take a chance of running the battery down somehow by just leaving the key with the accessory position on. So, I must use it while driving, and the music is not really my cup of tea (like what you might hear in an elevator).Meh:Arrived undamaged although it was shipped in its thin “CD box” and inside a CD storage case, in a non-padded, thin mailer.It has a limited number of recommended uses (about 30 according to the instructions), and it does not say what will happen or what to look for after the maximum number of uses has been reached.Made in China.Hopefully this honest review helps someone decide about this product.

2006 Toyota Error1 message
