It Works
I know you think the title is tounge-in-cheek, but it’s not. The case that came with my original purchase was bad – at best. It started out ok, but then couldn’t or wouldn’t take a charge. It would be at 100%, take the pods out and place them back immediately, and it would be at 4%.I opted to try a new Apple case (not the would-be knock-offs) before getting new airpods. The case – now a month or two in – seems fine. It holds a full 100% charge for DAYS, should I not be using the pods themselves and the charge-o-meter seems to be holding its own.Why 4-stars? Because it’s been two months and as the last pair showed me, nothing is 5-star with this product, so for now I’m being conservative.

Lost my airpod charging case
I’m thankful that I was able to purchase a replacement for my charging case, at a reasonable price. I was worried after reading some reviews that said they arrived used and scratched up. Mine arrived brand new, with unopened packaging, just as if it came directly from the Apple store. It charges quickly and works just as efficiently as my original charging case! I missed using my AirPods 🙂

There’s nothing to not like i lost my case august 2022 and finally replaced it but great purchase and best part is your headphones regain 1 year warranty with purchase of case since warranty is verified from charging case on airpods btw 🙂

this is an amazing replacement for lost or broke. airpod cases .. i lost mine and was devastated.. i immediately went to buy a new one .. at first i was skeptical but they work perfectly fine.. i dont know what with the reviews but they work perfect. yes they take a while to charge at first so you must be patients .. but they immediately connected regardless of the case change… overall perfect replacement..

Great replacement for original wired charging case.
I have AirPod 2 with the original wired charging case. I needed a wireless case to work with the wireless charging station for my iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods. The AirPods work fine and I didn’t want to buy new AirPods just because of the case. Buying just the case was perfect and economical.

Genuine Apple is the only way to go
My son got AirPods for Xmas 2019 and by April he lost the case. After hiding it from me for quite some time I finally busted him due to the fact his mom tried to bail him out and bought a knock off case which failed after a few weeks. I tried everything to connect his AirPods using the phony case but alas it was a lost cause. Apple has a way of blocking companies from making knock offs of their products and this phony was no different. I purchased this genuine Apple case and within minutes of connecting to a charger the AirPods were reconnected and working great. Moral of the story: Tell your dad the truth and he will gladly replace your lost case, you may get a slight scolding and have some extra choirs to do but hey that’s life. BTW this case was about $10.00 cheaper on Amazon vs. the Apple website. ENJOY

Works
Left my charging case on an airplane after we got deplaned *ugh*. Tried to get it back but couldn’t unfortunately. Gave up hope on it and ordered this. Had to charge the case after taking it out of the box obviously but then it charged my AirPods super fast and everything seems to be working okay now. I’ll give it a week and edit this if I need to. Hopefully everyone that’s had issues either bought the wrong case for the AirPods or just got a dud. I’d honeslty recommend they return the bad one and try ordering again. This product has an overwhelming amount of goods reviews so I’m gonna take a wild guess that the negative reviews are due to human error or that they just happened to get a bad one.Update: almost 4 months later, they’re still working great

IT WORKS BUT NO INSTRUCTIONS OR TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
UPDATE: My new Apple charging case seems to be working now. There are no detailed instructions or troubleshooting guides included with this product so I’m giving 4 stars. After experiencing the ordeal listed below in my original review post… I left the new, empty charging case plugged in for a few hours (6 or more hours) and then tried pushing the button on the case again to connect it to my iPhone via Bluetooth. Surprisingly, it connected and the battery status widget on my iPhone indicated the charging case was 57% charged. I left it charging until the next morning and it was fully charged. I put my first generation AirPods in the new charging case and they charged up in 15 minutes. I have no idea why it took so long for the new case to charge 100% the first time I plugged it in, why it flashed orange and wouldn’t initially connect via Bluetooth (maybe case battery was too low to connect). If you buy this product I would highly recommend taking it out of the box, use an Apple lightning cable, plug it into an Apple charging block or magnetic charging pad or Apple laptop lightning port to charge it over night (leave AirPods out of the case and charge it at least 12 hours) and do this BEFORE attempting a Bluetooth connection or attempting to insert your AirPods into the new case to charge.—————————-Original Review Post:I bought this replacement case that can be charged with a magnetic charging pad or with an Apple lightning cable. I opened the box plugged it in and it will not charge. I tried 5 different charging cables plugged in to a typical USB wall charging block, into a 5 port USB charging station, and into the USB port in a laptop… nothing worked. I finally logged into an online chat session with Apple Support, waited 10-15 minutes to receive a response from an Apple Representative, the representative was not familiar with the new generation of AirPod charging case which became apparent as his troubleshooting instructions including describing the color of the LED indicator light on the inside of the case (it’s located on the outside of the case) and indicating that the newer generation of AirPod charging case was not backwards compatible with first generation AirPods and would not charge them. After an hour of troubleshooting with the Apple Support Representative he asked for the serial number and my mailing address so he could send a box to me so I can ship the brand new defective second generation AirPod charging case back to Apple so Apple can “repair it.” I asked the Apple Support Representative how much it would cost and he said $79 for the repair. Typical Apple mode of operation… it’s so simple and easy to repair or upgrade an Apple product… you just throw it away and buy a new one. Needless to say I’ll be returning this product back to Amazon.IN SHORT, DON’T BUY THIS PRODUCT. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

WOW I cannot express how impressed I am. After losing my original case and finally giving in and purchasing a replacement, I was devastated to find my AirPods at the bottom of my dryer after doing a full cycle of laundry. Seems to work as well as the original.
My Air Pods, inside the charging case went through the washer in my pants pocket. To my surprise they still worked, however the they would charge while the charging case was plugged in and the Air Pods worked just fine, the charging case wouldn’t hold a charge and if the case wasn’t plugged plugged in it would drain the charge out of the Air pods. This case seems to work every bit as well as the original one.

Stick to the name brand with Apple
I lost my AirPods case while hiking with my dogs (Yes….I probably should not have had it in my pocket). I tried an off-brand case to save some $$. It charged my AirPods just fine – but that was all that it did well. I had to re-sync the off-brand case EVERY time I wanted to use them…and sometimes that did not work! I finally returned them and bought this case, from Apple. They work perfectly – EVERY time. It’s just worth the extra $$ to get the name brand!

This was exactly what I wanted and needed it to be. I was so nervous to get a dud or something completely different or janky. But it came in the exact same packaging, a genuine apple product. Great replacement charge case
After the discovery of my original charge case being destroyed by my dog, I was upset at the thought of replacing my apple airpods. Upon my search for new ones, I came across this replacement case. I considered getting an off brand one for money savings. As much as I use my airpods; I decided I didn’t want to risk the off brand not working or worse.. ruining the airpods. Arrived dead, but fast to charge. After pairing I’m back in business.

I was a little hesitant at first ordering this because my girlfriend had told me that these kind of product on amazon are scams but its safe to say that i made the right choice. The charging case fit perfectly with my airpods, charges just like my old one and is a perfect replacement for my old one. Though it was a perfect match as my old one, the new one seemed a bit more plastic. Regardless I think its a great product that I recommend to others as its more affordable and its same as any other charging case.

I bought this new wireless charging case since I had Gen 1 air pods with no wireless charging capability. Since I also purchased a Mag-Safe charging station for my iphone, I wanted to be able to wirelessly charge both my iphone 14 and my air pods at the same time. The Mag-Safe seller gave me a $30 credit, so I used it toward this new case.The case worked perfectly out of the box. I simply inserted my old air pods, forgot the old device, then connected the new case. Now, I have wireless charging for my old Gen 1 Air Pods!!!!
