If you hate or forget to charge your phone, then buy this!
I hate charging my phone. And this product is great if you dont like to charge your phone overnight. I wake up in the morning, put my phone on the charger, and by the time I leave for work my phone is fully charged! Very quick charger and the extra length is nice for when you need it to charge your phone while you are using it.

As
This cable has been a disappointment. It wasn’t cheap (it’s from Apple) And I cannot BELIEVE I let Apple nick me with another disgracefully frail cable. At first I thought it looked reasonably sturdy, but gradually it stopped working very well. Charging cycles would take longer. Situation deteriorated: Sometimes charging wouldn’t even begin until I removed the connector from the device and reinserted it. Yes, I do know lightning connectors are NOT polarized, but there I was, switching the connecter’s position as if it truly mattered which side was up. Sometimes it even helped! Even though it shouldn’t have. About this time I noticed that the cable had a bend in it near the lightning end. How this happened I have no idea. No children have been near it. Is this another artifact of the lightweight construction of Apple cables? I’m sure that bend can’t be helping the cable’s connectivity, but the connectivity was already going. Well, a few days ago it went from dodgy to decrepit. I’m getting by with a 1-meter Apple cable that I had set aside because it’s too short. Next cable I buy will be one of those stout, braided ones, and that is what I recommend you buy! The public needs to stop rewarding Apple for negligent manufacturing practices that trash the earth’s resources. The cables are disposables, never recycled, and costly enough that my spending in that category over the past 10 years would probably put a Congolese child through primary school. Yet folks in Cupertino are millionaires.

Works as required, but…
It works as required but costs substantially more than the no name. Considering Apple probably makes this product in China, they are probably making a tidy profit on it. It would be nice if Apple would pass along some of their savings to the faithful iPhone consumers.

OVERPRICED, but the best and only wire you need for your iPhone.
This will probably have the same durability that ALL Apple wires have over time, so it automatically is not getting 5-stars.But having the ability to plug-up the official Apple charger and pair with this official wire anywhere in any room and be able to reach that charging device is excellent. This is great, and every Apple lover NEEDS this along with Apple’s fast-charging brick.Highly recommended.

Legit but Price is Exaggerated
I’ve received it and it was legit packaging and apple experience.I know apple took over when they opened their store on Amazon to avoid very much what people have experienced of fake apple products.I’ve got the cable 2m for 19, I’m waiting it to come back again to that price since 32 or 29 doesn’t make any sense.

Real Apple cord in less shipping time
Everything came as ordered. It got here faster than the cord like this that was supposed to come from APPLE. It’s a legit apple cord and if I can afford I will purchase again. I do see other reviews that state their cords didn’t last long but this is my 3rd iPhone and not one factory cord has ever lasted me beyond 2 months. I’ll update the review if anything stops working before 30 days is up. Anything that stops beyond that is expected

Great but expensive
This cable does what you want it to do. It helps promote fast charging on compatible devices. You need to get the right charger though so be sure you know what you need before buying. This cord is fairly stiff but I still like it. It seems to be quite more than comparable cables but I went with it because it’s made by apple. There are probably other cables that work just fine and are more affordable, but I am happy with this one. The length of the cord was my main reason for buying.

Everything you love about the original just longer
This is great if you travel a lot and the outlet is not always right next to the bed, this is a huge help, or if you want to use your device while it is charging. I just wish Apple did not charge as much for these cables. I got lucky and picked it up on sale.

Charges great and super fast… but lasted 1 month
Charger was great for about a month and then I plugged it in today and it wasn’t charging. Took it out and plugged it into my other iPhone and nothing. I don’t know what happened, but it was working great this morning and now it doesn’t work. Plug was checked with a different charger and it worked fine and used this cord on a different plug in and didn’t work.It would have been my best charger ever if it would have lasted for at least 3-4 months. This is the charger that I keep beside the bed so it’s not moved a lot.

Pray Anker makes a cable soon!
What do I like? My iPhone and iPad charges like it should – Quick! What do I dislike? The trash build quality, this this kinked and bent permanently in less than 3 months. Now all I want to do is bend the cable around and “fix” it. I’ve had Anker cables for 2-3 years and NEVER had an issue. Anker and Apple I hope your both reading this because I’m waiting for the day Anker makes some USB C to lightening cables so I can purchase half a dozen in one shot. Also, your stuck with two lengths, 2 meters 👉🏽 too short for bed, sofa. And one meter, too damn long for your pocket, backpack, and a Anker power pack.OH and the icing is your paying 20 to 40Bucks a cable. HAHA SmDH.

The Apple cables are very expensive, but not very durable. For $35 you would expect much higher quality from an OEM like Apple. However their cables do work, and it is hit or miss with 3rd party cables like this.

Buyer beware thicker then the standard USB to Lightning cable so may not work for your use
Thicker then the standard USB type B to Lightning cable so may not work with all stands and other things that require the cable to travel through it.

It’s a USB cable
I usually don’t care for branding. But considering how ill Amazon’s market is for USB cables, I find it best to stick with large name brands. Christ almighty, there are so many cheap, junky cables on Amazon. This particular cable was indeed an Apple USB-C to lightning cable. Works as you’d expect. Which is much better than the alternative.

Absolute Garbage—Do NOT waste your money!
I am a long time Apple product owner, bought my first iPhone in 2009 and have had one ever since. I have never given much thought to the chargers before. I always used the ones supplied with the phone, and that was that. I still have all my previous iPhone chargers—that’s how durable they were! I wish I could say the same for this charger. There ARE some good things about this charging cord. Mainly, the charging power. The amount of time it takes to charge the phone is minimal, which is amazing. HOWEVER, in the 12 months since I bought my phone, I have had to replace the cord THREE times. Like many other reviewers here, the little bit at the end just…snaps off. Completely. It is impossible to try and reattach. Strangely enough, it has lasted me juuust long enough to not be covered by warranty (90 days)—replaced for the first time in October ‘20, second time in February ‘21, and broke again last night. Sadly I will not be replacing this cord again. I simply can’t justify spending $90 on cords in 9 months. My advice? Skip it and take the longer, but cheaper and more durable route.

Better than the alternative cable.
Now this is my bedtime charger. It’s plugged in behind my bed but it’s still long enough to hold my phone over my face after I lay down. Other than that, it’s just a normal apple charger. Time will tell it’s durability, but first impressions are good.

I bought this cable for my iPad Pro because I needed a cord longer than 1 meter. Provides fast charging while using the iPad. Although Apple cables seem fragile and prone to fray, in my experience they will last a long time if treated with care.

Cable Ends Corrode
This is the second replacement and I’m almost needing a third. However, I think its time to move away from Apple products unless Apple switches to USB-C for the nee Iphone 12.Here is the issue, the cable is corroding and turning green. The end is easily wearing out. Normally cables last for well over a year but I find this cable last no more than 3 months.I wouldn’t recommend this cable.

Fast charging works with iPhone XS
I got the 2m length. This cable is pricey but the cable itself has a decent, thick, quality feel. Where the disappointment lies is the lightning end. It feels as cheap as before.Works with my iPhone 7 and XS. With the XS, it does fast charging when used with my USB-C MBPro charger. You can get any 18w USB-C PD charger and this cable to achieve the same results.

Definitely from Apple by Apple
I didn’t have any compatibility issues from using this. My iPhone and iPad devices recognize the connection. A little expensive, but at least you know what you are getting. Id rather pay the $33 to get an apple product than pay $10 for headaches from an aftermarket product.

Authentic Apple Cable
I read some review from customers saying that this is a fake cable from Apple, but actually it’s authentic… came in the original Apple packaging. The 2m cable is awesome because your electrical outlet may not be close by, so a longer cable is definitely helpful!

Work well to keep my iPad Pro fully charged
Works great with my new charger to keep my iPad Pro fully charged no matter how long I use it. I had been very frustrated that the charge kept running out while I was working for long stretches in Procreate. Now I can work as long as I want and the charge stays at 100%. Apple really should make this combo standard equipment.

A Must Have for Fast Charging
I recently upgraded to an iPad Pro and iPhone 8 Plus so I decided I’d rather have the option to fast charge either device if needed. It’s a shame you have to buy all of these proprietary accessories to be able to do so, however this is pretty much the only way you can get the fastest charge possible. I made sure to buy this cable directly from the Amazon warehouse and not a separate seller on here. I believe this is a genuine Apple cable. The font on the packaging appears to be correct and everything looks authentic from the labels to the paper inserts. At first I didn’t see any printing on the cable but upon closer inspection with a flashlight I did find the signature Apple script which is incredibly small and faint. It’s roughly 7 inches in from the USB C end like another reviewer mentioned. These cables are also slightly thicker, probably to help assist with durability and for the higher voltages these cables are capable of. However I did cheap out on the charger and went with a 45W 3rd party brand which has good reviews. I did notice I only get fast charging if I plug the lightning cable into my device first and then into the wall afterward. I’m not sure if this is done by design on Apples end, an iOS glitch, or simply the fault of the charger and maybe an issue the Apple one wouldn’t have. Either way I wanted to mention it in case someone else has a similar setup and encounters the same problem, don’t pin it on th cable as that’s not what’s causing the lack of fast charging. In conclusion, it’s a shame fast charging an iPad Pro/newer iPhone is such a confusing and expensive ordeal simply because Apple decided not to include the necessary components and leaves you to try and come up with a cheap and working alternative or shell out the high price tag to get their fast charging set up. Either way, as of now this cable is still absolutely necessary and only the charger can be a non-Apple product to get fast charging.

Pricey but genuine and a safe buy
The product is, as you would expect, very pricey — this is why I couldn’t give it 5 stars. The value is just not there. But the cable’s construction is solid enough for day to day use, and it serves the purpose of charging/tethering/syncing an iPhone from a new Macbook Pro extremely well.So. Does this product do what you’d expect? Certainly. Will it break the first time you slightly mistreat it? Unlikely. But the cable is sold by Apple, so you can be sure that the price of the cable is between 20 and 50 times more expensive than the manufacturing cost. This is the part that I find to be galling, and a slap in the face for customers. That said, if you shop for cables for Apple devices from third parties, you have to be extremely careful! It’s very easy to mess up the construction of cables like this, so that you could damage your computer, your phone, or both, just by plugging it in. When you buy genuine Apple product, you can be sure that a design flaw won’t break your hardware. When you buy from a third-party, you have to research the product and make sure that the majority of the customers are happy, and that they have a good warranty policy and stand behind their product. That takes a bit more effort and time. So, really, when it comes down to it, this product is intended for people who want to avoid doing all the research to make an informed purchase of a third-party cable that might be a bit cheaper. You don’t have to do research; buy the cable genuine from Amazon.com, an OEM Apple part, and it will Just Work with your devices. If you like that experience more than the uncertainty of the third-party market, this cable is for you.

Fast Charging wire
I bought this wire to use for “fast charging” newer iPhones and iPads. You also need a higher wattge (30w) charging brick to accomplish this. The wire is the typical Apple wire and I’m sure the connector will break with extended use like EVERY other one does but they’re aren’t really many other options yet for this wire from aftermarket compaines like amazon basic. I have used it with my iPad and it does do the double sound to let you know fast charging is active. That could be from the brick though not sure BUT it definitely does charge the ipad (12.9) much much much faster.***I have read that the fast charging may not be good for battery longevity so I won’t use it on my new iPhone but the iPad i know I can just replace the battery if and when it becomes weak.

Love how fast it charges my iPad 3 but I wish the cord was more durable.
I have an iPad 3 that I purchased in 2019 whose original cord frayed at the end. Tried to ebay another original Apple cord for cheap but it turned out to be a fake and took forever charging. Finally decided to just buy one from Amazon. Got it and I love how fast it charges my iPad plus the length is great for me. I purchased my cable in Jun 2021. It’s currently March 2022 and the end has already started to fray. I’ve put some tape on it in order to preserve it as long as possible but I’m disappointed that it’s started to fray so quickly. It also seem to turn yellow overnight. Don’t know what that is about but it didn’t affect the cord’s performance.

Genuine Apple
Some top reviews mention that the cable they received was counterfeit so I was a bit hesitant to order this. Fortunately the cable I received is 100% genuine Apple. My order was shipped and sold by Amazon.I almost took off one star due to the price. This cable cost more than the new Apple 30w USB-C power adapter that I ordered it with, which is ridiculous. However, the cable itself is good quality and feels sturdy while not being super thick and inflexible — and let’s face it, high prices are par for the course on Apple products anyway.

ill explain why the cable is legit.
many people here have said the cable is not a legit apple cable. however, i disagree. This cable feels different from the Apple cable we are used to because it it thicker and it’s able to carry more information & power to and from the device. As a result, many people here have said it’s a fake but in reality, it’s real. The cable works as it should and has not given me any issues.

Pretty Good Purchase!
I purchased this cable because our household needed an extra Lightning to USB-C cable. At first I was debating between the 1m and 2m length cables due to the price difference – I ended up giving the 2m a try because it was available for overnight delivery. Depending on where you plug in the adapter and if you plan on using your devices while they charge, I highly recommend the longer cable. I love how convenient the extra length makes using our devices while they’re plugged into the charger.

Genuine Apple Cable
Not much to say, it’s a genuine Apple cable suitable for newer iOS devices which can exploit USB-3 power delivery and speeds. Notable is that when this cable is plugged into a high speed USB-C power, the transfer rate to an iPhone or iPad is much greater than the older USB2 cables. This counts when you are transferring pictures and other data to the device. Counts a lot in fact.Only downside is the package I received had a distinct moldy smell from the cardboard package. Threw out the Apple box and wiped down the cable to get rid of the smell. Good to go.

Not for your new iPad, but works great with older devices
I bought this with my new iPad thinking both ports (plug ends) would be the same and made for use with the new MacBook and iPad next generations. But only one side is that, the other is the old kind for using with your iPhone or older iPad. So those charge fast, but not my new device.

Effective length for business and personal applications
I purchased this cable in conjunction with getting a 29W power source for an IPad Pro. I chose this longer cable as I often work in client offices, coffee shopes and hotel rooms. The 2M length is a bit long, but the length is critical as not every power source is located within easy reach of a work surface. There are some drawbacks as the cable readily kinks as you coil it up into a loop. I am concerned that this may lead to shorts in the cable over time. Also the price is high along with the cost of the 29W power supply. Buth both are necessary for really turning the iPad Pro into a useful tool.
