Given that the newer iphones require one of these dongles to use headphones or aux port inputs, one of these adapters is nearly mandatory. This model works exactly as expected, with good sound quality and consistent connection. It’s also tiny! The thing will easily fit in any accessory pouch or charger bag I’ve ever seen.Lack of power pass-through is a point of inconvenience, leaving us reaching for a more expensive dongle when listening to a long podcast.

I find this works better than the stock lightning headphones
Two reasons I purchased this:1) I like using quality headphones with 3.5mm jack…this allows me to use my already existing headphones with my iPhone.2) While you can use Apple’s lightning airpods I found that the sound wasn’t as strong with just the stock lightning headphones. Using this adapter with Apple’s 3.5mm headphones and the sound quality was a lot better. Both apple headphones I tested this with were brand new at the time.Sucks Apple makes you purchase this…but sadly it’s worth it.

Works great!
I bought this adapter to use with a “call center headset” that I bought a few years ago that had a 3.5mm jack. My earbuds wouldn’t stay in my ears, so I thought I could use my headset (which I liked very much and bought through Amazon) if I could find an adapter that was a female 3.5mm on one end for my headset plug and a lightening plug on the other end to use with my iPhone. This adapter was exactly what I needed and works great! I can hear through my headset and talk through the mic on it with this adapter. Great quality. Well made. I definitely would recommend this adapter.

Thank goodness…
Just had to buy a second one as I lost the first. They work great for phone calls and voice memos. I don’t use bluetooth headphones as I’d like to keep all my brain cells from dying off before their time, so this is a must to get good wired headphones to work with Apple’s annoying and dumb lightning port on my phone.

Fantastic quality-of-life item for iPhone users
I was sad when iPhones stopped coming with a regular headphone jack, but despite my best efforts to keep my iPhone 6 running forever, I eventually had to upgrade and sacrifice my headphone jack for the lightning cable headphones. I can’t believe it took me as long as it did to buy this little gadget. Works perfectly and I can use all my existing headphones with my phone now. 🙂

Great for iphone
So iphone has decided (a while ago) to make their phones not compatible with a regular pair of headphones…… WHY? I hate it when companies do that! ITS CORRUPT! But this is why I bought this. The ear buds that come with the iphone suck, they fall out, and they hurt your ears. I bought these for my sone and he loves it and he is able to actually use his headphones again.

Great affordable and long lasting.
It cost around a couple more dollars than others I have bought, but worth it, with the other ones that I have used after around a month or 2, they start to get annoying where sometimes they disconnect then reconnect a lot, where as this product very much exceeded my expectations and I’ve been using ever since I purchased.

Inconsistent
I have purchased this twice, once for myself and once more recently for my child.The first one is still going strong with no issues and I am pretty hard on it.The one purchased earlier in 2023 barely lasted three months before it flat out stopped working. My kid is bummed as he has an older phone and cannot listen to music. He wants another for Christmas but needless to say, I am pretty hesitant about purchasing again.

Love that I can use earbuds with my iPhone again. I had an expensive Bluetooth and people couldn’t hear me on it anymore. (See pic.)Second, even minor audio stuff is a bigger deal to me than (I really imagine) to most people, as my actual professional is that of a professional “art music” [“classical” musician, as most understandably say—but that term has some problems of which of course I’ll spare you the details here]. So, all I’m saying is, I notice audio quality, & I have little patience even for arguably poor CALL quality or whatnot. For these reasons, I think I’m qualified to assure you.Last time I got this from this retailer, there was, as I recall, no concern about any generic-type packagIng—no concern about it being a knock-off immediately.More important, as this was my first such adapter, I remember being quite pleasantly pleased with everything about it. I used it with whichever iPhone(s) I had at the time for calls & on-the-go media listening, as well as a with my iPad Pro for listening, recording, etc., with earbuds when whatever I was listening to was not some huge deal, and for more-huge-deal listening with my beloved Audio-Technicas,, a [surprisingly great, particularly for noise cancelling] paid of Bose, or either of my “audiophile” young kids’ high-end Sonys (&, btw, I’m not ax mum who gets my kids unduly high-end things, but I found those, obviously MAjorly mistakenly under-priced on Amazon Prime Now ~15 months ago, so I of course snatched those instead of getting the correctly priced cheap ones).NO PROBLEM AT ALL with this adapter, for however long I had it readily available (maybe over a year), & I’ve personally no reason to have believs the seller has “gone to the dark side” or whatever.BUT, as I’m ordering a couple of so more of these today for same-day delivery, I PROMISE you that if there’s ANY problem, I’ll add an addendum to this. Okay? (And, yeah, I KNOW a lot of folks say stuff like that, but they unexpectedly get too busy, or forget, or have become so fed up with Amz they can’t tolerate anything concerning reviews. I get it. But, when it comes to anything that disrupts my music-listening or playing, I’ll hop on Amazon to warn folks. (Not the case [as consistently] with so many of the not-well-considered, purchased, cheap clothing, my very rare “home decor” purchases or whatever.And, you know, I used to review thingx rather diligently because the review set-up used to be (long, long ago) really helpful. But now, there are so many maddeningly obvious fake reviews, and maddeningly non-obvious (paid-for)!fake reviews—sellersv getting pressured to hype their often-pointless drop-ship merchandise, or (even worse) sellers paying folks to rip apart competitors’ wares. The system now has too little utility for me to bother with it.But, as I promised, if there’s a problem with my new purchase here, I’ll let you know. I didn’t realize the iPhone SE came without a headphone jack until I went to plug in my corded earbuds. I thought I was going to be forced to buy cordless Air Pods — which I am certain I would lose. But a quick search showed me there’s an affordable jack, which I’m now 100% happy with.

Great for phone calls
Since apple made the dumba## decision to remove the headphone plug, and I can’t stand Bluetooth headphones/earbuds, I needed a converter to be able to listen to music on a plane and purchased a set of converters, only to discover that they were worthless for phone calls.This is what I bought to replace those and this works GREAT. Fidelity is perfect and no issues with connectivity.

Why APPLE?
Apples come in all different colors, red, green… WHITE. WHY APPLE? Now putting my frustration aside (cuz as an iPhone owner I need to get an adapter or just wireless earbuds that are so bad when making calls) this adapter is good. My first owner lasted about 6 months and I took it literally EVERYWHERE. I slept with it, ate it, had on my pocket when traveling the world and still lasted 6 months. I’m gonna say these adapters no matter where you buying them or the brand it’s best to be very gentle with them and make sure you not doing anything that can break or bend idk I’m not a sensor person but I listen to lots of music and these lasted 6 months I am quite surprised maybe my expectations are so low hey if anyone finds something that lasts a year or over lemme know
