The micro lens worked amazing! Will keep purchase for that purpose. However, the wide angle lens, why I bought this product, was not useful. The left side was blurry and had horrible fish eye effect on the images along with visibility of the lens black ring.

    Not 0.43x, closer to 0.7x

Purchased this item believing it would reduce effective focal length by .43x, turning a 50mm lens into something like 21.5mm (nominal focal lengths are often not precise and change with focus breathing so there really isn’t enough precision there to justify the use of decimals, but I digress)Upon using it I noticed it has considerably less effect than a .42x fisheye adapter acquired some time in the early 2000’s, so I did a few tests. Comparing the field of view of a 50mm lens equipped with this adapter to a 28mm lens, I found the 28mm lens was actually wider. That should not be so! I then compared 50mm + adapter setup to a 35mm lens, and the field of view just about perfectly matched. To convert 50mm to 35mm you need a .7x adapter, which is what this falsely advertised product is.Multiplying by .7 can also be approximated by dividing by 1.43, which is where I think they might’ve screwed up and gotten the 0.43 from– they could have accidentally subtracted 1 from 1.43 instead of dividing 1 by 1.43 to convert the divisor to a multiplication factor. Or they could be lying outright and guessing nobody would catch that big an error, but this is the difference between being *barely* wide angle at 35mm and ultrawide at around 22mm and has a *huge* impact on the appearance of photos and video. All this said, the quality of this product seems fairly decent. It threads in smoothly, is built of solid metal, and has very little chromatic aberration. I even tested it on a telephoto zoom lens for fun, just to see if I could detect any significant chromatic problems that would be hard to spot on a normal length lens, but none could be seen before the image became too soft to be usable– and in spite of claims people make about products like this being “zoom through” for camcorder use, it’s not advisable to use anything like this for anything on either side of a “normal” focal length. Too wide and you’ll see the edges creep into the frame (about 35mm full frame equivalent is where you can see black spots in the corners, and it gets worse from there) and any longer than 50mm equivalent you start to defeat the purpose of a wide angle adapter. (So any of the reviews mentioning black corners are already using a wider angle than can be achieved by putting this on a normal focal length lens– not its intended use, and not a flaw with the product.)However, in spite of being actually fairly usable, I cannot recommend purchasing any product that misrepresents itself. Anything of this nature that advertises itself as “HD,” “digital,” or “professional,” tries to mimic the appearance of Canon or Nikon optics by including a red or gold colored ring, or mentions autofocus is throwing up some HUGE red flags that it’s intentionally deceptive. I had hoped it’d still work for my purposes, but it definitely will not.

for the price, it’s surprisingly good!

I bought this without many expectations but I was surprised at how good it is. The focal plane is very very shallow, and of course not being an auto focus lens you have to do that by hand. I bought this for the macro lens part, I haven’t really used the wide angle lens. Ultimately I bought a somewhat more expensive version that could do a higher magnification. But this is definitely great to decide if you want to deal with fiddling around to get things in focus.

    Worth the price

The media could not be loaded.

I’ve only played around with this, haven’t had a chance to really go out and take a bunch of pics with it, so please excuse the random pictures of bathtubs, house plants, ect.Seems to work really well and be well made for how inexpensive it was. Obviously not high end quality… and you do lose focus around the edges but I’m okay with that. Any pics I’d be taking with these would be of one or two objects at most so the blurred edges could be background, not planning on doing while family portraits with it.The wide angle gives quite a bit or extra space to the edges, able to capture more in a photo than without.Photos I’m uploading are of without either lens, with the wide angle lens, and with the marco for a comparison of all.Only issue I have is that there was a little nick in the thread of one side that I think is the cause of this rather loud sound when unscrewing the lens. I’ll try and upload the video. However aside from the annoying sound, it doesn’t seem to effect it from attaching properly. The box was also a little dented when it arrived and wasn’t sealed so it made me feel like it might have been a return or something… but I couldn’t see any issues other than the one nick I previously mentioned.

This would definitely be a useful tool to anyone looking to show off an enclosed …

This lens is definitely worth the low price! I paired it with a 28-58mm EF lens on my Canon Rebel xsi. Works extremely well in small spaces! This would definitely be a useful tool to anyone looking to show off an enclosed space (like real estate photography) or shooting landscapes. When fully zoomed out you will have a strong dark halo, though zooming in or cropping it out is an easy solution. I was able to fit my camera, lenses and all into a 14x12in box and captured most of the other side of the box (baby chick photos attached to review–unedited and rotated/cropped photo). Auto focus has no issues focusing through the extra glass.I haven’t gotten a chance to try some decent landscape photos with it yet however it was able to capture a nighttime landscape and the stars above. It does tend to glare light very brightly. I attempted some long exposure shots with it which worked fairly well, however it was glaring a bit too much for my taste: notice the moon in the attached photo is extremely bright, (photo was taken from an idling car with an exposure time of 3 seconds so it is a tad bit blurry, not the lens’s fault) though you can see how much of the landscape fit into the frame. I’m sure adding a decent filter will reduce the glare just fine if it bothers you.Overall very happy with it! Clean, sharp image, does not feel like it will fall off of my lens while shooting, can’t wait to try using it more!

Looks fine, functions fine (I’m sure) but the super macro lens is stuck.

The wide angle bit works totally fine, aside from the black vignette, but my main issue is not being able to even use the macro lens on its own. I’m sure this isn’t the case for every single lens sold, but I was hoping to get some macro shots and am unable to remove it from the lens.

    student photographer friendly!!

I needed a macro lens fast for my final project for my into the darkroom class, this did the trick! It was really simple to use, which was great for something like me who has very little experience with photo lenses and such.My goal was to capture detail and this lens helped me tons! The price was very reasonable as well compared to brand name macro lenses.Personally I did not get the opportunity to use the wide angle lens so I don’t have much of an opinion on it, however the macro lens was magnificent.

Worked great with my Nikon D3400 and 50mm 1.18g lens!

I’m not any sort of professional photographer at all. But picked up a Nikon D3400 to document family stuff and vacations, and then began collecting lenses to go with it and try to advance my camera and photo taking skills. I bought a 50mm 1.18g lens and loved the quality, but noticed I had to really step back away from subjects to get them to fit in the frame when taking photos. So I stopped using the camera altogether until it came across my mind to look for a wide angle lens. I did a quick amazon search and Altura came up first. Read the reviews and saw the photos, and for the great price I thought ‘why not try it?’ I honestly don’t know how I didn’t think to look for a wide angle lens before! This lens works so beautifully with my 50mm lens and adds so much more into the frame when I take photos. I saw some reviews complain that they saw a ring when they took photos with the lens but as you can see from the photo I attached I did not experience that at all. I was definitely careful to purchase the correct type of lens that had matching thread with current lens so maybe that’s why others had issues? But super happy with my purchase and the sellers are great too. I lost my lens cap and sent them a message to see if I could buy one, and they sent me a replacement one within a couple of days!

Great value, no cover for back of wide angle lense.

The magnification of the super macro lense is amazing! The wide angle lense looked great as well, but haven’t had a chance to really test that one out. I think the lense is great value for hobby photographers. The only con is whe. You use the macro lense separately, there’s no cover for the back of the wide angle lense, as the cover for back of macro lense is too small to fit it. So this leaves the lense exposed and can get scratched or damaged. That’s really the only negative thing I have to say about it.

Well Built, Quality Packaging, Widened Field of View. Lens Corners Visible during Low Zoom.

Hello there! I am fairly new to photography and just recently purchased my first “real” camera (Not a smartphone and over $100 😂).This review Is for the 49mm Macro/Super Macro Lens, mounted and used on a Canon EOS R50 with RF S18-45mm f4.5-6.3 IS STM.I decided to purchase this product while searching for various lenses for my camera. Since I am new to the photography game, I wanted to try out and add various lenses to my kit. Being that the price point for this lens was far lower than other lenses and seemed to have decent reviews, I figured I would give it a try.The product arrived quickly with Prime and I was extremely excited to test it out. It was packaged nicely and professionally; (outer product box, inner, more protective inner box, leather type (not sure if actual leather) pouch with draw strings, and lastly a disposable plastic bag.Unfortunately, that is when I experienced my issue. The lens would not fit onto my preexisting 49mm thread, 18-45mm lens. Being as this is my first lens purchase for the camera, I was both concerned and slightly discouraged. I looked at my order history and realized this product did not state anything regarding the compatibility with the EOS R series cameras, but rather the EOS M series. I researched online thoroughly and concluded that regardless of if my camera is an R or M series or if the lens is an EF or RF, 49mm should still should be compatible.I then looked through my recent orders and Amazon and found the product description, verified I ordered the correct lens thread size (49mm) in which case I did. From there I grabbed a ruler and took a measurement of the thread size of the mounting portion of the lens, I found the size to be 55mm rather than 49mm. Although I ordered the 49mm, I received the 55mm, even in a 49mm box.I started the replacement process on Amazon, chose to “Replace with the same item” in hopes that it was just a discrepancy when the product was boxed. I received the new lens a few days later and could immediately see the difference in the mounting thread sizes. It mounted right up to my existing 49mm lens with no issues. As for using the lens, it does have a bit of weight to it, I’m sure probably not as much as other lenses, which I have not had the opportunity to test, so I cannot definitively say it is heavy or light in comparison. It definitely does seem to give a wider field of view which will be great for various types of photos. Both auto and manual focus still seem to work without any issues. Clear view, no issues so far with ISO or high shutter speeds. However, there are two issues I have noticed so far with the lens;1: When utilizing the cameras integrated flash, the size and length of the lens definitely casts a shadow at the bottom of the shots. An external flash would probably correct this depending on how high the flash sits.2: The corners of the lens show on the image unless I zoom to right around 22mm. Although this could be a deal breaker for some, I actually like the effect it gives the image. This also will most likely be dependent on the lens type/focal length used. One more thing to note although it hasn’t seemed to be negative for my shooting so far, the less zoom I have, the more fisheye the image seems.Pros: *Great packaging *Well built *Very sturdy *Enhanced field of view *No issues with focusing *No issues with ISO *No issues with high shutter speedsCons: *Lens corners visible in images unless zoomed to approximately 22mm

    For 28 bucks?

So what do you get for 28 bucks?I am a pro and thought i would give this a try before i go and drop 5 large on a real wide angle lens. The Good:Pretty nice glass for the money, in the pic with the wire rim of my readers the glass is pretty clear, better than i expected for the money for the macro only part. Given you are putting another layer of glass between your subject and the sensor i could see using this now and again. It did mess with the AF a little so I switched to MF and simply moved the camera closer till i got the focus point I wanted.Doesn’t take a lot of light away.As for the wide angle, well it’s ok. If I zoom up a little to get rid of the vignetting it seems to have mostly a usable area but……Now for the Bad:The focus drops off severely around the outer edges and there is some color aberrations to contend with along the edges as well. My pics have un-cropped/uncorrected, cropped/uncorrected, useable cropped/uncorrected, un-cropped/corrected at the 18-55 and finally un-cropped/corrected using the canon 8mm correction in adobe PS CS6. You can judge for yourself. As a pro I will toss this in the bag and I could see using it in an unrestrained crop situation but it’s usefulness is limited at 16:9 crop.Like I said, for 28 bucks what the hell, the macro works pretty well, the glass is great for the money and it could come in handy in some situations.

    Works Great on my D3300

This installed easily to my D3300 and the auto focus works flawlessly. When fully zoomed out the frame forms rounded edges instead of square but draw it back in slightly and the rounded edges go away. I’ll try to upload some pictures later on..

No replacement for a proper wide angle lens.

Firstly, my comment reflects the product, not the seller. Digital Goja is an A+ retailer and I’d give them my business again without hesitation. My issue is with the Altura product. The product felt sturdy enough. Didn’t feel cheap or fragile in hand. On the camera, it definitely added some weight to the front of my camera which wasn’t particularly great. If they product had worked as described, I wouldn’t have minded so much. But it didn’t meet expectations/hopes and here’s why:1. BLUR. Fisheye lenses by nature cause blurring and distortion around the edges of the frame. And even though this isn’t a true fisheye adapter, it had that blur and distortion. However, the blur didn’t stop there.EVERY image I took with it turned out fuzzy and unusable. THE WHOLE IMAGE. Not just the edges. A total lack of clarity.2. The weight. As mentioned, it has some heft to this.Though I don’t believe it caused any damage to my lens during my test shoot, I must CAUTION that prolonged usage of this product may add unnecessary wear and tear to your camera lens. Especially the auto-focus motor.3. The fisheye distortion is neither here nor there. It’s too soft to add anything special to shots taken yet too prominent to ignore. Most photos (those that were slightly more in focus and others) looked awkward because of this.4. The macro aspect worked better than the wide angle but only marginally. Though the magnification is impressive, there was still blurring and softness even in the focused areas of my shots.I took a chance despite advice otherwise to try this product and see if it could meet my needs considering it’s a great deal less expensive than a proper camera lens. I wanted to like it but the product sent to me was unusable. D. Goja took the product back without hassle as per their great customer service standards.I have an Altura Photo flash unit and it works really well for the money. In future though, I’ll have to be more careful about buying their products.Bottom line: Save up and buy yourself a proper wide angle lens. You’ll be glad you did. There is no viable alternative. Especially not in this price range.

I gave it 4 stars because it is well-made, unfortunately, it did not work with my lens. In the photo you can see my 18mm lens shows a full-width view. With the add-on lens converter, it is a tunnel shape. This is not even close to the sample image shown in the description. The seller should list what lens options will provide the best results. The camera body used was a full-frame Sony A7Riii. The lens was a Samyang AF 18mm F2.8, full frame.

Good as long as you do not zoom in with it.

Its not too bad, just as long as you do not zoom in. My precious shots from the other day were ruined if I had zoomed in to only find a blurry circle in the center of my pictures. Some of the glass did have some chipping, but it was out of the FOV for the camera. For the price its not bad, but don’t expect a world class wide angle.

A great, inexpensive addition to get a wide angle with a huge caveat.

If you are thinking of getting into architectural photography, this is an inexpensive way to get into it without spending a ton. However, the convex lens does catch a LOT of flight flair and you will be spending time editing out little round spots in your images. Not a bad way to go if you don’t need to worry about editing time. The other thing I noticed was that the corners really pop out when you’re fully zoomed out. On an 18-55 I had to keep it at about 20+ to keep the corners out of the image. But it also really distorts when it’s all the way back, so you are running into issues either way, so it’s best to keep it a little zoomed in.

Great Alternative with a Great Price

I was searching the market for a wide angle lens. I want to do more vlogging so it’s a must with the Nikon D5100. I’m currently using the standard VR 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6G. All of the lenses I found were way out of my price range. Until i saw this product. The Alturo Photo .43X WIDE ANGLE HD LENS ATTACHMENT. The delivery was pretty fast two days with my Prime account. The product is made of metal and the build is very nice. It’s very sturdy and durable. It do any feel cheap. The look of it does not match with its price. I paid 24.99 for this product and it looks more expensive than that. I’d say at least $75 The quality of the wide angle is perfect for vlogging. It does add a bit of weight to the camera as a whole when holding the unit with one hand. However a two handed photo shot should be fine. You might need a strap for this. The BONUS detachable SUPER MACRO lens was an awesome surprise. I didn’t know i needed a macro lens until i used it and saw the detail in the photos. Great addition. So that’s two lenses for $25 bucks. When i was looking to pay over $200 for one. Pretty great deal in my opinion. The only reason i did not give it 5 stars is because of the weight. And also the fact that you can’t just attach the Wide Angle lens to your lens, you have to have the Super Macro attached. But u don’t need the Wide Angle to use the Super Macro. Not sure how u would accomplish this: lessen the weight and make them both independent units.Overall, i would say get it. For $25 bucks it’s a steal. Nothing to lose with this purchase. I will upload more photos once i have them done. Here are a few of the lens attached to the camera and on their own. Good product. Great Price. Great Quality.

The newer d5300 lens AF-P 18-55mm is threaded at 55mm, have to get adapter for 52mm to work

I was gifted a Nikon D5300 for christmas. I have always wanted to shoot Macro so I ordered this to get my feet wet to see if I wanted to buy a true Macro lens. In the camera setup I was given it included a AF-P 18-55 lens and an old school AF-S 55-200 it works with the AF-S and fits perfectly but the thread size on the newer lens is 55mm so I am going to buy a step down ring adapter instead of sending this back and ordering the 55mm model. I even researched how to find your thread size and found it is on the inside of the lense cover, turns out that is not always true on my lens cover it clearly says 52mm, WRONG not with the newer AF-P 18-55mm lens. 55mm threads all day long. Can’t speak to the picture quality of this macro adapter yet but it seems to be made very well and is metal not plastic.

    Headline for your review

Bottom Line: This is an add-on lens, meaning it attaches to an existing lens to augment it’s focal length. If you are on a budget, new to photography, and do not mind chromatic aberrations and vignetting, get this. You can enjoy it with limitation. If you have $100+ to spend buy a true fisheye lens and you will get 45%+ more image than this.Pros:Adds some wide angle perspective to your images but it’s not the 0.43x it claims. If I understand that correctly then it should make my 18mm lens into a 7.7mm lense, however, I have a 6.5mm lens and it’s not even close. My real fisheye gets 45% more image. See images for a comparison against a 6.5mm fisheye wide angle lens.Macro works but is limited. For the price I’m okay with the limitations. I will use it.Some reviewers said the build quality is bad, but I dropped mine almost 4 feet on tile flooring and there was no damage. Seems solid to me.Cons:-Wide angle is NOT as much as it claims. If I understand the 0.43x correctly then it should make my 18mm lens into a 7.7mm lense, however, I have a 6.5mm lens and it’s not even close. See images for a comparison against a 6.5mm fisheye wide angle lens.the lens causes chromatic aberrations.-Heavy vignetting in the corners. You can literally see the edges of the lens in the image anywhere under 24mm. You can crop the image to remove the vignetting but then you end up losing a lot of the image.-Chromatic aberration

    Good buy! Worth the cost.

For 35 bucks now, you have to keep in mind that you did buy it because you didn’t want to spend 300$ on a canon 10-18mm sorts. My first impression is that you do feel good with the wide angle capability. On a crop sensor camera minimum effective focal length you could get with a kit lens is 18*1.6=28.8mm which is why even an iPhone 7 plus with its 28mm lens would have slight advantage in terms of width of snap it can take (though I find the quality to be better with DSLRs anyday), so with this lens you should ideally get best upto 18*1.6*0.43=12.35mm, but then at 18mm there is extreme vignetting so I would say at best it could give you 22*1.6*0.43=15.15mm sorts without any significant loss in quality. So for 34 bucks you do come close to a 10mm(10*1.6=16mm) lens capability on APSC cameras. There is no loss of autofocus. One big advantage which casual photographers may find is that, to take a family snap you do not have to change lenses. This also fits neatly with a 18-55mm lens attached in my amazonbasics bag with another small lens. So overall it’s a good buy, and yes the macro lens is an icing on the cake but I can’t say much about it as I don’t feel experienced enough with macro. You would see a nice difference in your snaps till you upgrade to real thing for sure.

    Be Mindful

This is a good product, just be mindful that the lens does affect the speed of shooting a tad bit, and if you aren’t careful the edges of your photos will be frayed and blurry due to the almost fish eyed appearance.

    A Few Major Issues

Basically you get what you pay for here. If you want a real wide angle lens you have to spend hundreds of dollars. I used this on my 18-55mm lens but it only works for 24-55mm because of vignetting (black around the edges), so I really only get 10mm of focal length instead of about 8. Also my ceiling and table appeared curved because of the “soft fisheye effect”, and I was going to use this for landscape photography but don’t want a curved horizon in my pictures. On the positive side the macro lens looks really good so that is like a bonus that you get, but I don’t do much macro photography. It is a durable lens of good quality and fits well also.

Hmmm. Still not sure about this one. Pros and Cons listed below

Pro’s: Price, quality of product, and the close-up items are AMAZING!!!! WOW! I was impressed by my photos of some flowers that I took to test this newly purchased lens for my Nikon D3100 camera. I was not even trying to take a good photo. I was just taking something quick to test it. I was pleased that it came with two caps and a case/pouch.Con’s: I’m not so sure how great the wide angle is. I’ve only tested it inside a house so maybe it performs better outside. Like others have said, I too got a fishbowl look to my photos for the wide angle. It was attached to my Nikon’s 18-55 lens. I tested it again taking the same picture but with different zooms (18, 35, 55) and two out of the three had the framing and fishbowl look. I think it was the 18 that did not have any issues, so I guess this wide-angle lens works best at 18.

    Scratches on the glass

I’ve had this lense almost a year now. And I dont take very many pictures bit I got this for macro pics, I’ve pulled it out twice maybe. But I decided to clean it I take it out and notice these letters “M R” scratched on the glass. I bought this back on January 20th 2023. He or she is probably let go by now. As I’m sure this isn’t the first vandalism that he’s perpetrated.

    maybe it’s me

I like the lens, but I don’t really see much of a difference in the photos. I attached it to a macro lens and expected to get more detail and width but I’m not getting what I was expecting. I’m taking photos of small bugs, insects, butterflies, moths, etc. and maybe the attachment helps when I crop photos but I took photos with and without the attachment and when I went to process them, I couldn’t tell which were which. It’s not an expensive lens, so I won’t return it, but it might wind up just collecting dust.

Worked as expected and very good price

Product was what I expected.Solid build, Good quality glass. The wide angle does give me that extra bit of width that I was looking for on group pictures and is nice on the landscapes. You are adding more glass in front of your lens so yes the image is bound to suffer a bit but it is very very minor. Also note that if you go out extremely wide you will get vignetting. On My 18-55 lens I find I need to be about 24mm to avoid vignettingAlso note that there is some distortion on the wide angle as you get closer to the edge. I don’t find it a real problem and I once again did expect some of this. I couldn’t justify the cost of a new wide angle lens at this time so this fit the bill quite nicely. The macro attachment is also nice. Note that it does hold a nice focus in the center and then gets softer quickly as you move out to the edges. I like that myself and am pleased with the results.I was disappointed in Amazon. The box had obviously been opened and the cleaning cloth that this vendor always includes was missing. I notified the vendor since Amazon is responsible for fulfilling the orders and the problem was obviously from Amazon’s end. The lens was pristine so I didn’t send it back and I am pleased with it.This vendor is excellent and I have bought from them several times and will again

Great macro lens/wide angle lens for beginners

First off, I own a Canon Rebel T6 and the lens I purchased was the 58 MM. The first lens I received had a defect and was the wrong size. I ordered a new lens in the correct size and there is no defect. I would highly recommend this lens mainly for the macro lens portion since that was the reason for my purchase. The wide angle lens is also nice, but will be used less than the macro lens itself. I have attached photos of the damaged lens as well as the non damaged lens. I have also attached a few perspective photos of coffee beans using the macro lens. Again, I purchased this lens with the intentions for macro photography as a beginner, not because of the wide angle. The lens attachment itself is a little heavy which tells me that it is made out of sturdy material. Other reviews state that this lens is too heavy, making the auto zoom or focus to not work properly, weighing down the body lens. I disagree! I attached this lens to my regular 55 mm lens as well as my 75-300 mm lens and it did not weigh down the mechanical properties of either lens. I feel the macro lens by itself creates a beautiful depth of field and shows true colors. The wide angle lens is definitely not meant for up close photography, of course. I tried using it to get a different depth of field in a photo of the coffee beans, but the wide lens blocked my flash on my Canon Rebel T6, making for a shadow at the bottom of the photo. All in all, I suggest this lens for any beginner wanting to develop their first portfolio, whether it be for a hobby, or to start up their own business. For the price, this item is a steal.

    Great picture quality, but…

The reason I only gave 4 stars is because the purpose of this lens is to be able to take wide angle pictures, and I found that if I fully zoom out, you can see the black rim of the lens which does not make for quality photos. But the clarity is great and once you figure out how far to zoom out without that issue, it serves its purpose.

Another great inexpensive addition to your gear

52MM 0.43x Altura Photo Professional HD Wide Angle is another great inexpensive addition to your gear. It’s very similar to the Altura Photo 52MM 0.35x Fisheye Wide Angle Lens with the obvious difference. Both lenses share basically the same strengths and weaknesses. With the Macro and the Wide angle combo, you can get very wide or very close. I notice less distortion on the wide angle than the fisheye, but that’s to be expected in my opinion. Both lenses suffer from focus drop off around the edges and there is a slight learning curve. As with the fisheye, the Wide angle comes with a detachable macro portion that can be used separately from the wide angle. There’s a sweet spot for the Macro, you just have to tinker with it a bit. I attached a couple snapshots with the wide angle attachment on my Nikon D3300 and the stock 18-55 lens.Remember, you’re paying 20-30 bucks for this lens as opposed to hundreds or even thousands. In my opinion, you get much more than you pay for. All in all, this is a great attachment and it works as it should. It’s affordable, useful, it’s worth having around when you need it and it doesn’t take up too much space. Mine came with a cap for both ends and a “leatherish” carrying bag. I’d recommend this product and I’d buy it again.PROS:-sturdy and well made-works well (with a little practice)-easily attaches to lens-adds a nice effect to your photos-macro lens can be used without the Wide angle-comes with caps and a caseCONS:-focus drop off at edgesOVERALL:Great buyGreat quality for the priceGreat choice for beginner/intermediate level
