Odd handle placement.
My 17″ Dell fits inside nicely, but it has an odd design that is keeping me from giving it 5 stars. The case has handles that are sewn on the inside which means the zippers cannot close all the way when the handles are out. If I flip it inside out, the zippers are too difficult to use and I’m worried they may damage the aluminum case of my laptop.The overall quality of the product is really great, though.

Fit perfectly on my HP 17.3in laptop and it feels very nice to hold. It also has a handle where you can carry your laptop making it very portable. Though it cannot fit anything else such as a charger.

Great for a Larger, Older Laptop
I keep my laptops from the past 10 years or so, and update them with new software just in case I might need to use one of them. I then store them in a metal filing cabinet for safe keeping. This cover is perfect for a larger Gateway laptop – which by the way, works amazingly well after 10 years (great visuals). Safely stored now in this carrying case.

It’s BIG
I think for covering purposes it’s fine. It’s going to slide in the cover because from the side of the laptop there’s an extra 2-3 inches. If it stays in a backpack or something great, but in terms of being tight. No. The texture seems very soft to protect the computer. Overall I’d say for the price it’s good. Just wish the case was snug.

Perfect for Additional Backpack Protection
This is just what I needed to add some extra protection when hauling my lap top in my computer backpack. It has little handles inside so it can also solo when not being stuffed into a larger bag and that’s even better when you want to shove it into carry on luggage or even a checked bag. I always worry that something is going to damage my lap top while in transit, but this is just like encasing it in bubble wrap…well better, because when it’s zipped in, it’s done. Me Like.

Handles
The product itself is durable and soft. The only big thing that is wrong are the handles. The handles are sown INSIDE of the zipper so if you want to carry the laptop by the handles you can’t without the case not be fully zipped. I am not sure why anyone would do this. The handles are useless! The case is left open in order to pull the handles out and use them to carry the case.

No frills laptop sleeve
I bought this to protect my 15″ Zbook. I’d tried various 15: sleeves, and due to the thickness (sturdiness?) of my Hp ZBook, none of them were large enough. I wanted something to offer a little more protection inside my messenger bag and this definitely fits the bill. There are no pockets or other add-ons you would get with a more expensive sleeve, but for what I wanted (a way to keep my laptop in one piece) this definitely fits the bill. I have not (thankfully?) had to test the water resistance, but my guess is that it will do fine in that regards (unless your sleeve is immersed in water, and then there are likely other forces at play) it should protect your laptop in a light rain or spilled drink.

Just a sleeve… nothing more.
So thin it can’t possibly offer any level of shock protection. The material sags when holding it by the handles when my 17″ MSI laptop is inside. And, handles… photos don’t show handles. Wish I could cut them off easily. It’s only good for protecting from scratches.

Carry-handle not mentioned
This is your standard 17″ laptop cover. The reason I am deducting one star is because there is a handle sewn into the inside of the unit. In order to take advantage of it, you have to have it unzipped. If you don’t want to use it, then you have something pushing down on top of the laptop on both sides.
