Bluetooth and energy conservation. (Power limits)
I love the DVD and it’s accessories, however it for some reason draws almost twice the amount of energy from the Bluetooth speakers that I use ,compared to an mp3 player, my phone ect.MORE importantlyIt also I’SNT BLUETOOTH.

Good little portable dvd player
This is a nifty little gadget. We got it to watch movies up at the mountain cabin. My husband took it in the car and watched a video during his wait for me at a doctor appointment. Said it worked just fine.

Portable DVD player
If you’re looking for a device that can play MP4 files, you might want to skip this portable DVD player. It only supports DVDs and CDs, so you won’t be able to watch your favorite videos on it. It’s a shame, because it has a nice screen and good battery life, but it’s not very versatile.

If a remote is important to you, look elsewhere.
I love the sound and picture quality, but the remote does not work. Yes I installed the batteries and did it correctly and yes I have tried the remote close up, mid-range, and far away in every possible direction that a sensor could have been built into the player. I should think that an accessory like a remote would work and I would expect it to work considering the price paid for this item. I’m highly disappointed.

For the most part, this device does what it is suppose to do. I will say that it is just a DVD player so do not expect blazing HD quality even with the HD screen. It is limited based on quality but the quality is still good. This is still pretty big but it is light so you can easily take this on road trips although be careful not to turn it sideways when the disk is running as you can scratch up the disk. The DVD player casing is pretty well built. It is made of solid plastic and I did not see any piece that was too thin or prone to cracks/breaks so you do not have to worry about easily breaking it. It is still pretty thick so I would say It basically the size of a early 2000 laptop. There is a simple line of sight remote control. The remote runs on a coin battery which is okay to keep it thin. The main DVD player battery life is pretty nice. I would highly recommend you charge it overnight BEFORE you use it. On the first initial charge, it lasted about two movie length movies before needing to recharge. It does have a car charger but it does come with a wall charger. You can use the DVD player while it is being charged so that is an added bonus. The next thing about this is that you can actually hook this up to a TV and it becomes the DVD player for the TV. You can close the player as well and it will keep working or you can turn the LCD screen off. The unfortunate part is that it only allows for RCA and not HDMI so many of the newer televisions will not work for this. There is NO HDMI capability on this so this is very limiting on what you can plug into as again most new TVs do not even have RCA anymore. Regardless, the RCA cable is fairly long but be aware it is RCA to those 3.5 MM like plugs. Those are pretty easy to replace if needed but it is only one plug versus three. Make sure you plug it into the right port. The controls are pretty straight forward. It comes with a TV setting and DVD. The screen is held on by a hinge and it actually pretty durable and sturdy. I cannot tell though if the hinge is plastic or metal though from just looking at it. You are able to mount this on your car seat if you have the right mount. If you happen to hit a bump, it may cause the DVD to shake a bit and hinder the playing. The screen is not a touch screen so you either have to open it again to use the buttons or use the remote control. The casing is nice but you do not see scratches on it too easily. There is a pretty simple and nice carrying case provided. It fits all your accessories and such. It makes it very easy to carry. Also careful with the box as the bottom is not very stable and could break on you pretty easily from the weight. The picture quality is as expected. It is just a standard 480p I feel like with the DVD player. It is not upscaled or anything like that. The DVD slot is just a slide lock to unlock. It holds the DVD pretty well but try not to shake or turn it while it is running. There is a USB port and SD slot that you can plug thumb drive or an SD card into to enjoy videos that way. It was able to run the AVI files I needed. Overall this is a good portable DVD player to take on the go. It is great for keeping children entertained and the best part is that it can be plugged into a TV to become a DVD player for the TV. This makes it ideal for homes and such because you can use this player as a main DVD player if needed. The remote must be in line of sight. It does run on older tech so be aware of that. I think it should have HDMI as most TVs now do not even have RCA so that is the only down side of this device.

It’s kinda hard to get used to it.
I like the big screen! Remote has so many buttons, I have to use a flashlight just too see what I’m pressing. The case is cheap and dvd player doesn’t fit right, it’s to small for the player…. Picture is very clear, not blurry at all. It’s a bit pricey, but it’ll work for me…

The media could not be loaded.
The film has dynamic and colorful visuals, giving the viewer a completely immersive experience. The clarity and size of the screen made every situation come alive, whether I was watching my favorite action-packed movie or catching an episode of an advanced television show, or even in lighting situations in each contrast, the accuracy of light and color was remarkably consistent. This made me happy. With the loudness and clarity of the audio, I was able to skip using the extra speakers. It was a relief to be able to hear speech and subtle sounds without any clicking, even in busy situations. This project not only improves the overall viewing experience but also allows participation in an immersive movie evening at any venue. It’s impossible to overstate how convenient it is when you’ve already charged the device. I never had to worry about my battery dying on my trips because I could get up to six hours of fun out of it. One of its strongest selling points is that it’s compatible with a variety of storage media including USB drives, SD cards, and even TVs. The fact that it’s not compatible with Blu-Ray discs is a drawback; However, the fact that it is much more versatile makes up for this shortcoming. Having an extra carry bag that accompanies the player when traveling is an extra shield against potential injuries. It is well made and sturdy, so it will protect the player and anyone attached to it when stored in my bag, and keeps everything in place Another advantage is the sleek design of the player, as it will not be so.

Battery powered DVD player
This player works excellent I charged it up the first time in ran movies until it died right about 6 hours on battery time. Then we changed it to Full capacity it still runs on batteries right at or about six hours.

versatile and portable video player that can play DVD and SVCD
I still own many DVD movie collection but my DVD player that was hooked up to my TV recently died so I was shopping for a replacement DVD player and decided to get this portable DVD player for more options and versatility. I have 2 sons who’s been watching movies from Netflix but I have many old classic movies in DVDs that are not available in Netflix. With this, he can watch some of my DVD collection from his room without getting disturbed by other siblings or we can connect to TV and watch them in the living room.14.1″ 1280×800 resolution is not really High Definition but that’s okay since none of DVDs are HD resolution. I like that LCD screen can be closed flat for portability during travel, while it can be rotated and adjusted for better viewing angles, and even folded flat like tablet. The built-in rechargeable battery means that you won’t be interrupted when you unplug to move it to a different room. The onboard speakers are great but you can plug in your headphone to listen privately as well.Remote control is great, especially when I connect to our TV since the player will be near the TV stand. I only wish that this unit had HDMI connection option but luckily my TV has AV ports so it’s not a big deal. I also appreciate that this comes with cigarette lighter adapter cable so I can have my kids watch a movie during a long car ride and the carrying bag was icing in the cake for storage and for packing it on the go. By the way, this unit can also play VCD and SVCD format videos for those who know what they are, which is also great as I have some VCD and SVCD videos from many years ago.

Movies On the Go
I still own a large number of DVDs. Even when people started streaming, I just can’t throw things away since I’m frugal. I continue to acquire new ones. This portable DVD player offers a wide HD screen, an acceptable volume level, a bag for storage and portability, and a battery life of about six hours. This is a necessity if you have kids and spend a lot of time on the go.No matter where you are watching it, this player’s pivoting screen offers for the ideal angle and view. This is great for traveling and for using in the car because it keeps kids occupied. Since it only plays DVDs, Blue Ray discs are not supported. It has both a car charger and a wall charger, so it can maintain power wherever you may be.A special benefit is that it has a memory function, so if a child has to stop viewing, they can start up right where they left off when they resume. This makes things simple, handy, and gets rid of angry kids. It’s simple to use, inexpensive, and does a terrific job. The only problem we occasionally have is that kids don’t like to share.

Limited function
I wasn’t expecting a top quality A/V equipment at $120.00….however the programming is very limited, and in many ways unresponsive. For example if you want to play a dvd where several sequential episodes are listed in the menu, the programming will allow you to select and play any of the episodes listed on the menu, however, the programming won’t (resume) the programming or take you back to the original menu to select another episode. The only thing this player understands is to play the whole dvd, beginning, to end, without interruption.The player “gets lost” within the context of its own programming, and runs a blank screen.Unfortunately I don’t have a recommendation for a better quality DVD player at this point, but take this one OUT of your cart.

This DVD player is exactly what I was looking for. Its picture and sound quality/volume are far beyond what one would expect at this price. The DVD player and remote are sturdy and easy to use. The carrying case is very nice. With this device, it’s easy to watch a movie anywhere and anytime. (for example, when the power goes out). Only comment…. it takes a long time to charge the lithium battery. It would be helpful if there were a graphic that showed how much charge is left.

I bought two of these DVD players. I used one one day and ow it won’t even turn on. I was going to give the other to someone else and am glad I didn’t. I tried it after the first quit working and it will not turn either. Don’t waste your money on this product.
