Wore out quicker than I expected
The player’s lid wouldn’t stay shut after a few uses. Also, it started having issues with loading a dvd. It’s great whenever it works.

NOT for Blu-ray!!
! purchased solely because I needed a blu-ray player. it advertised as such, but it does NOT support blu-ray…. but good player, and convenient for my other discs, so I kept it, but disappointed in false advertising.

Shipped to uncle on deployment – survived the journey and provides a lot of happiness
Amazon package was sent to me but then I forwarded it along to my uncle who is currently deployed. He received the DVD player which had no damage after all of that travel and was instantly able to play a couple movies and TV shows I had sent along with it.I’m very happy that it survived the journey and was able to give him some relief from everything going on. Worth every penny when someone just wants to shut their brain off but is not in a place with easy access to the internet.

Simple headrest / portable dvd & video player
╔ ■ Price Point: 4.5/5╠ ■ Quality: 4.5/5╠ ■ Picture: 4/5╠ ■ Sound: 4.5/5╠ ■ Battery: 5/5╠ ■ Recommendation: 4.5/5╠ ☼ Overall: 4.5/5╠ ►Product Need: Simple headrest / portable dvd & video player╠ ►Product Pros: Battery life, USB/SD card, region free, power pause╠ ►Cons to Consider: No Blu-ray or bluetooth╠ ►My Review: I bought this to keep my little one occupied on a long road trip to apply to my cars headrest. I wanted to keep her off the tablet as much as possible and keep her occupied watching movies as the downtime only. The battery and ports on this were the two biggest selling points. Installation of this is very easy with just a belt and swivel for angle or you can keep this portable too. It does have a car charger to keep battery life going. There isn’t too much weight to this yet the battery holds through 4 hours of movie time if you forget to plug in. The option to pick up where you left off is extremely important to me, as short rides can make or break a movie. I would say the biggest drawback to this is that it has older technology with a max resolution of 1024*600 which doesn’t matter really for that size of screen. But since it has the USB adapter and reads SD cards (up to 32GB), then you can put all your movies regardless of format on this making it future proof. Overall I like it and would recommend as a easy movie setup, but only if you are ok not having all the latest addon features.

Beautiful 10.1” screen, fully featured controls, with excellent battery life.
Highlights: What separates this portable DVD player from the crowd is it’s beautiful 10.1” screen, flexibility and portability with lots of easy to use features, the fully featured remote control, and of course the excellent onboard rechargeable battery life.I was impressed right away by how well and securely packaged this is. The unit arrived quickly and in perfect condition. After unpacking we were up and running a DVD movie in less that 5 minutes.Operation is straightforward with onboard controls and a fully featured remote control. There are ample player menu features available to tweak settings but we didn’t find any adjustments necessary. The 10.1” screen looks great! Big and bright with great DVD quality details. The screen rotates and can fold flat against the machine. Sound is really decent as well from the onboard stereo speakers plus there is an audio jack output for headphones.Once the unit is charged up, if you unplug from AC or 12V power the unit seemlessly switches to battery power without interrupting playback of a movie. I’ve been grabbing DVD movies off our shelf and firing them up in this unit. It’s really nice! Bonus I can unplug and easily head to a different room. Our 7 and 9 year old kids love to use the portable unit to play their movies. It’s simple enough for them to easily operate without adult help. Plus it’s lightweight for comfortable use in a lap. On road trips it’s easily secured to the back of a vehicle’s seat with an included harness. Finally there are SD card and USB inputs, and TV and audio outs! Flexible!I’m very happy with our purchase.

Travels with DVD Player!
I haven’t seen a small player like this in such a long time and I’m so happy I bought it.Children were able to take it with them on a trip and spend hours watching old DVD movies. I love that it can watch different types of CDs too! I haven’t tried all of them yet, but it’s wonderful knowing that it will work for others too. The remote is really nice, but the buttons don’t work that well sometimes. Maybe the wiring? Good thing I keep the remote somewhere else in case it were to be lost somewhere. I love that the DVD player can twist around far enough, but it can be a little weird as there’s a giant bottom to it. The player was tucked neatly inside the thick bubble wrap and put snuggly into the box. There is a smaller box for the extras, like the cable, remote, and so on. There’s buttons on the player as well. Both the screen and bottom part. Play/Pause, Stop, Volume -/+, etc. The player is a little heavy, so be careful not to drop it. It’ll be the end of everything! I’m just kidding… But do be careful as this can damaged the player and DVD inside, if there is one.Oh, and it might not be a good idea to put this up on the back of the seats’ headrest. It most likely will slip and fall like it did mine. I caught it though. Just won’t be doing that again.Have lots of fun with this player as it is quite awesome to bring along and enjoy movies on. ^_^

Great for the grandkids in the car
Very easy to use. Our 3 year old grandson is able to turn it on and press play! Battery life is enough for 2 average movies and comes with the car and house chargers. It’s great that the player came with the option to secure to the headrest also. This is primarily how we use it. The only thing I took away a star for is that watching from an angle is a bit difficult.

Fantastic, having a blast.
Fantastic. One of few times in my many orders online the packaging of the product was outstanding, I mean just fabulous, and I was so shocked that it was that outstanding. The system is the portable device I needed and funny thing my young ones have never seen one before, huh. But I am just so happy, smiling ear to ear. I am having a blast watching all my oldies but goodies; the sound is great the picture is on the money. The functionality (VHS, DVD, USB) built in the device works like a charm. This is a sure deal.

Convenient, great for game cams
Easy to use, comes with everything you need to watch DVDs when traveling in a car or at a hotel, etc., basically anywhere with power. Comes with a headrest holder for the player for the vehicle. This is also an easy way to drive around property and check game cams if you have a “cigarette lighter” port in your vehicle or 4 wheeler, etc. Pop the SD card into the port on the player and voila, you can scroll through pics or watch a slide show of them. Very happy with this purchase.

MUST HAVE FOR PARENTS OR GRANDPARENTS!!
The Juntunkor portable DVD player is awesome. Especially for those who have children. I have gone through at least 5 different brands of portable DVD players and this one is easily my favorite. It’s flippable screen makes it more compact and easy to carry. The included carrier latches on to car seats with ease, and makes long car rides with the children a little more tolerable! The slim controller is easy to stash and has a wide button selection. The HD display quality is fantastic. My only criticism is that it doesn’t come with a usb charger which would be more compatible with newer cars, however the ability to use this DVD player without it being plugged into a power outlet makes it worth while. I highly recommend the HD Junkuntor portable DVD player. Great for kids, road trips, and even binge watching in bed!Every time I purchase something online, I always check the reviews. I count on others to help me choose the best option. My reviews are always my honest opinion and I try to include photos if possible. If my review has helped you in any way, please click the “helpful” button below so that I know! Terrible Sound, Otherwise a Good Product
I do not like to write negative reviews on products. Typically, I just return the item and that is the end of it.But, this unit’s sound quality is abysmal. I contacted the manufacturer to make sure that I wasn’t overlooking anything and their response was “you can buy some external speakers.” Well, I had already told them that I had tried headphones and the sound would not even drive them.In any case, I told them I would just return the product to Amazon and then find another alternative. There response was “I understand.” Understanding and helping are not quite the same.My suggestion is that you steer away from this unit.

Works well for my toddler
UPDATED -Amazon sent us a replacement unit – which was very nice of them as we were outside the return window by the time we tried it out. The new one has been working great for about a month now. We’re pleased with our purchase at this point. Our two and a half year old is very happy with it as well. 🙂 It’s not a top of the line electronic, which is good since we’re putting it in front of a toddler who can’t tell the difference, really. The buttons are easy for her to push and it’s standing up well to her carting it from room to room. It’s working out well for the purpose we had in mind.ORIGINAL -We bought this for a long road trip we’re taking this summer. We decided to open it up early to make sure we knew how it worked before the actual trip. We were able to get it all set up and our daughter was able to watch a movie so we were feeling pretty good about things. The next day when we tried to use it again it would not turn on (despite being plugged in to charge all night). Unfortunately we are now a month outside the return window. We are extremely disappointed and will now have to spend even more money to buy a 2nd DVD player for our trip. I would suggest buying another player if you are interested in getting one that will work more than once.Edited to add: Amazon is sending us a replacement which is nice as we’re outside the return window. If this one works more than once, I’ll update the review.

Almost Good1
I am very pleased with the video player, but do have a little problem reading the small type, and couldn’t fine anything on line where it was reprinted. My only concern is that the sound is very low and I can’t seem to turn it up. It was suggested that a connection could be made into the player with a speaker, but I didn’t seem to have the correct one. I love the player and want to keep it, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Peggy

Good DVD Player
It’s been working well except for one issue, sound doesn’t sync with picture. DVD plays well in the first few minutes and you’ll notice sound is getting out of sync. When you pause it and restart it, they start syncing again. I played many DVDs to see if it is a player issue or DVD issue. I noticed this problem happened to most DVDs and a few played fine without any issue. I don’t know why. Other than that, I love this device.

Good Value For The $
I purchased this DVD player to use on long flights from the states to Hawaii when visiting family. I plug in a Bose headset when using it so really can’t comment on the sound quality. The picture quality is good, the controls are easy to understand and it works as it should. One nice feature is that you can shut it off with a DVD in it and when you come back and turn it on, it starts where you left off. Very handy when taking a break during mid-movie. Nice compact size and light weight. I would purchase this DVD player again.

Max volume too low for back seat car use
Upon receipt I tested it with a couple of DVD’s I found the picture quality to be excellent; but even in a quiet room and with the unit less that 2 feet away I found the sound to be clear, but maximum volume to be insufficient. Based on that observation I just don’t see this unit being acceptable when used in an automobile, strapped to the back of a car seat headrest. The remote control worked flawlessly.I returned the unit – but, not because of the sound volume issue. That would have been adequate for my use. I purchased it specifically to play .avi files. It would play the audio, but flash a message on the screen saying that it did not support the video’s resolution. The listing says it plays .avi files. And, it also states the device’s resolution. However, it turns out that .avi files ARE of a higher resolution than the unit’s specified resolution.

Great for elderly and disabled
This DVD player has been great! I can’t speak to it’s ability with regard to USB or SD cards as I haven’t used that function, but for DVDs this thing is great. I have an elderly friend with some limitations, and during the pandemic it has been difficult for him to use the internet or anything like zoom. This device has provided a wonderful way to keep him safely in contact with his friends. We call regularly, but it is much better if he can see faces as well. With this we can burn DVDs and once they are in his possession he can easily use this DVD player to watch whatever content we can provide. Movies, recorded videos, music, whatever. It’s simple enough for him to use and works very well. The screen is plenty bright and large enough for him, and the speakers are honestly surprisingly loud. This has exceeded my expectations. I do think that HDMI out would be useful in other situations, and the on/off switch is a little difficult for him to use with his limited hand mobility, but it still works well. Overall I am very impressed with the unit. I believe it would work very well in other situations as well, but this has been great for him.

Really depends on how you are going to use it
We bought this to keep a young one occupied during our long trips. The remote appears to be line of sight, and doesn’t work well when the dvd is in the headrest “sling”. This sling also makes it much more difficult to change the dvd. So if you are looking for something that is not disruptive, and you have to change movies often during a trip, this may not be the one. Overall everything worked as advertised, it’s when you have to change the dvd that it becomes somewhat problematic. Also if you dont’ have a passenger who can make these changes and a screaming kid, you will have to pull over.

My husband and I love this portable dvd player. While one of us watch the main tv in he house the other can watch a movie on the portable dvd player with our own earbuds. We also take it in our motorhome and when we take long trips in the car. Easy to use and so far we are very pleased. My only negative is we wish it had blue tooth, but for the price it is great!I ordered it expecting it to come in 2 days and it came in 1 day!

Nicely made DVD player with lots of features – Be aware of weight and not made to play Bluray discs
For years I had a Craig brand portable DVD player. It had a 7-inch screen and was light (1 ½ lbs) to carry and throw in a carryon to watch DVDs on a plane . It finally broke after 8 years! And I decided to try this one – which has a 10.1 inch screen. It’s well made and played right out of the box (without me having to recharge the battery. As other reviews posted here have pointed out, it comes with virtually every cable you’ll need and even one to use to play DVDs through a large screen TV. It’s designed so that you can play DVDs for your kids and they won’t be able to reach the buttons. (the bottom swivels). Another reviewer found it good to make destop presentations. In fact you can add a flash drive (not included but REALLY cheap) to play a .avi file you created with your camera or PC.I liked that it came with a cloth “case” to carry it (or attach to the back of a car seat. (I have no children so that’s not relevant to me.The price is okay for a unit of this size.I do want to caution about two things you should know:1)The unit is fairly heavy. It weighs about 3 pounds (twice what my previous one weighed)2) It is a DVD/CD player. It will NOT play Bluray discs. So if you have a collection of Disney Blurays for your kids or play Blurays at home (on a Bluray player), you won’t be able to play on this unit. (As I understand it, there is a licensing fee a manufacturer must pay to make Bluray players. I looked on Amazon and found some Portable BD players but they were in the $200 range. So this will serve your needs well if you understand the weight issue and – more importantly – that you can only play DVDs and Music CDs on it.The manufacturer has a 30 day return policy.I hope you found this review both informative and helpful.Steve Ramm“Anything Phonographic”

Okay for the Price
I recently purchased this unit to set on the table or counter top to watch DVDs while working in the kitchen. Out of the box, the sound and picture were poor. But I was able to improve both by going into Setup and adjusting the audio and picture options. For $80, I guess you won’t get much better than this unit. And it has high ratings. This is my first portable DVD player and expected more out of it. Maybe compared to other brands, it is considered one of the best. But it is not excellent quality. I plan to keep it because it’s rated higher than most other players. I looked at DBPower, but I liked that HDJuntunkor also has controls on the screen and came with a car seat holder.PROS:*Easy to use once you figure out the controls and Setup options.*Has three sets of controls: remote, base, and screen.*Has three power options: built-in rechargeable battery, AC charger, car charger (not USB).*Controls are basic, so not too complicated.*Comes with car seat holder.*Plays a wide variety of CDs & DVDs.*30-days to return (info only found under questions on Amazon.*One-year warranty (info only found under questions on Amazon.*Support: support@hdjuntunkor.com (only found under questions on Amazon.CONS:*Must adjust audio & video in Setup to get acceptable sound & picture.*Even at the highest audio level (20), the sound is not very loud. It IS loud if you use a headset.*Comes with old-fashioned “cigarette lighter” charger, not a USB charger.*User Manual is NOT well written. Thirteen of the remote buttons are not explained. (Step, OSD, 10+, Prog, Repeat, Mode, Slow, Menu, P/N, Goto, Return, A-B, Subt). I know what some of these are, but they are not covered in the manual.*Buttons are mentioned in instructions that do not exist. For example: Display and Search. You will learn that “Display” is the OSD button; I have never found a Search button.*The manual mentions Gamma adjustment, but it does not exist in the Setup options for video quality.*The remote Power button does NOT turn off the unit; it puts it to sleep. You must use the On/Off switch on the side to turn off the unit.*No way that I can see to replace rechargeable battery.*There is no warranty, support, or contact information provided in manual.*Made in China.

Superb DVD Player
We purchased this HDJUNTUNKOR Portable DVD Player for our son this past Christmas so he could watch his favorite DVD’s in the car. The DVD player came nicely packaged and was pretty much ready to gift as is with a little added Christmas gift wrapping. It came with everything needed to setup right out of the box. I love that it came with two different chargers. One for home use that plugs into a standard outlet and one for car use that plugs into any standard cigarette outlet in the car. The only 2 issue I have with this DVD player is when you load the DVD you can hear a scrapping/spinning sound coming from the DVD player and the headrest mount is oddly cheap compared to the DVD player. It’s flimsy and doesn’t really hold the DVD player securely to the car headrest. Not to mention most newer cars have oddly shaped headrest and the mount included seems to be made for older cars with big bulky headrests. Luckily the spinning/scrapping sound can be drowned out by turning the volume up on the DVD player while playing a DVD. The screen rotates and flips giving us control of rather or not our son can access the buttons on the DVD player or not. Which comes in handy when you have a younger child that loves to touch everything. It does come with a remote that works perfectly. Sound quality is great and the picture quality is even better. Other than the noise it makes when we load a DVD; we haven’t had any issues with the HDJUNTUNKOR DVD Player. Our son has loved being able to watch his DVD’s on the go. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great portable DVD player minus the scrapping/spinning noise of course.

Annoying to use
The DVD player itself is loud, and while it would be okay for use at a table or something (aside from the fact that it gets really hot,) it’s awful for car use. On long trips after a DVD finishes, it’s a pain in the ass to change the DVD (especially if there’s no passenger because you have to stop and get out of the car to do it if it’s on the driver’s side. The car DVD players I’m used to just directly strap on, they don’t need a strapping case (which is already falling apart after a few months,) and they have a button to open the front face so you can swap the DVD out and close. With this one, you have to pull it out of the headrest case, lift the screen, then lift the DVD player lid, close it all up, finagle it back into the case and readjust it multiple times while it gets caught on every single strap, then let it play. The remote works only half of the time, and this won’t even play DVDs from many different regions. We have 2 paw patrol DVDs that were made in Germany for the US and sold in the US. It’ll play 1 DVD but not the other, citing that it’s a region issue even though it said on the listing that it’s region free. It’s not worth the money, especially considering this is the second one we’ve had because we had to send the first one back for the same screeching sound that this one does now when it plays DVDs.

Great little movie player
Update: after 2.25 years, this player is defunct. The screen began to flicker recently during disc play, and is now completely black though the sound is still working. Still probably worth it for the low cost for 2 years, but I am disappointed with the short life span and needing to find a replacement now.My previous mini DVD player lasted through 14 years and many vacations, and I didn’t think I’d be able to find another as easy to use. This machine does it all: affordable price, thin, lightweight, larger screen, full 180 swivel screen, AC plug and cigarette lighter adapter included. It cost 1/4 the price of my old player! It plays PAL and NTSC! AND it’s zone-free!Love that it comes with the canvas case to allow it to mount on the back of a headrest in the car, since that’s where the kids use it. Love that the battery lets the movie keep playing even after the car is turned off (yes, we need that for parking lots and outside waiting rooms). Love that the kids can press the buttons on the player itself while it’s in the headrest case, so they don’t need the remote.Changing from letterbox to widescreen to normal is a bit annoying, since it takes 6 clicks in the Setup menu (requiring remote). Not in love with the remote: the buttons are hard to press, and generally have to be pressed multiple times in close proximity to the machine itself before input is received. I contacted the seller to see if a replacement remote would help the button-press problem, and they ended up sending me an entire new DVD player, remote, and car case. So great service!Very happy with purchase overall! Would recommend.

Works well!
Bought for my 19 month old for our 20 hour drive to and from Florida. Comes with the piece that holds the dvd player on the headrest, remote, charging cord, and a car charging cord. Remote worked well. The picture quality was good for what it is, obviously not 4K quality but good!I will say I think it might have an issue where the dvd will get paused or maybe just gets stuck on a frame once in a while? But I was able to just hit play and fix that or skip like 10 seconds. BUT that could be my movie. Just pointing it out though in case.

Must have for my toddler in the car
This is probably one of my most important toddler must haves for driving/trips. I keep this in my car at all times whether I’m parked in the garage or not and it has stayed perfect. The picture quality is great, it’s loud enough to be heard by my kiddo. And it keeps her entertained and calm for any car ride. I’ve even taken this on trips and it made a huge difference with being able to play her favorite movies in unfamiliar places (such as a cruise ship room). It sits up on my head rest, I did zip tie the straps together to prevent them from slipping off the leather and that has worked perfectly and I still have no trouble moving this to another vehicle if I carpool with someone. The only complaints I have are minor; to change the dvd you have to completely unplug and remove the player from the holder and if you want to immediately restart a movie after it just finished playing then you have to go to the menu and the scene selection because just pushing play will only take you back to playback of wherever it was, which is usually the credits for me. These can be annoying when I’m traveling alone and I have to pull over to fix it but it has saved my sanity with my two year old while in the car longer than 20 minutes. I keep a variety of dvds in my car but has different options to have digital videos as well. Worth the price and it has gotten a ton of use.

Hands Down, the Best Present Ever!
I ordered this portable dvd player solely for the benefit of having buttons on the front of the device. It was nearly the only one at the time I could find with this feature that was affordable, and I wanted it simply so my daughter who just turned four would be able to easily start and stop it if she needed to. I wanted a remote so I could “maybe” control the volume from up front if the device was able to register the button press from that angle. It doesn’t. So there’s that, but I’ll get into that later. As for the actual device, it’s super light! From other reviews, I truly thought this would be a heavy device, and it literally feels like it weighs about two pounds. Folded closed, it’s easy to hold, and when open the screen tilts back just a little. In the above pictures, this is as far back as the screen will go, and when it swivels, it only does so from one side, so beware if you try to turn it one way it seems it won’t go, please don’t force it, and try the other direction. Again, it open, closes, and swivels with no issues at all.The buttons on the side of the device are what I would like to call the “master” buttons. It has a toggle on/off switch, the USB port, SD Card area, headphone jack, aux ports, etc., but mainly for me, the on/off switch. And I say master, because on the front of the device below the screen you have the volume up/down, play/pause, on/off, and forward/backward buttons. If you press the on/off button, it just shuts the screen off, but the sound is still playing. At least on the device I received this is the case. I don’t know if it does it to all of them, but it’s not a master off button for us. I have to use the switch button the side to turn it fully off. Also, if this “master” button is left in the on position, and you close the screen, it will turn it off, but the device is still on and on standby. You can hear it on, and once you slide that master switch off, the dvd player goes completely off. So remember that also if you want your battery to last. The last buttons are the buttons on the inside of the device where the dvd goes. Those all work accordingly, with no issues. For the screen itself, it is crystal clear, and presents a beautiful picture! I tried from multiple viewing angles as well to see if I would get a black screen, and much to my surprise, no. The only time the screen got that black look to it is when I slouched all the way down and tried looking up from that angle. Side to side is great, which is a huge plus as I have a baby who, when older and able to move to a different car seat, can also view this dvd player. As stated the screen is basically a nice 10 inch view that is easy to see, even when you have different screen ratios. Volume is also on par, and goes from 0 to 20 max volume, which we have it on volume 10 in the vehicle, and that’s plenty loud right there. My daughter can hear it fine, with no issues. Dvd’s are easy to insert and take out, again no issues there. This does have a five hour charge, and currently I fully charged it before using it in the car. I commute to work and to also bring my daughter to school, so that’s 45 minutes one way in the vehicle. We’ve used it three times already, around 35 minutes each interval, and we’re still going. Do keep in mind that I am switching that “master” on/off to off position. It does come with both a wall charger and car charger as well as other cables in case you need to charge in the vehicle for a longer drive. I’ll update later to see exactly how long this device can go without a charge. It does come with a car case, which is basically a cheap, material case that has two buckles (watch those dang buckles as when moving the buckle to make the length of the strap longer it slid right off the material, and likes to slip now), an enclosed bottom, and sides and front cut out for easy access to the device. It does have a Velcro top closure on the front. And just an FYI, make sure you crisscross the straps to the headrest. Don’t ask me what I was thinking, but the first time I did it, I did the straps vertical, and they kept slipping off as we drove. Duh moment. Sometimes it will slip just a hair now that I crisscrossed it, but it’s due to that one buckle that likes to slip down. The case does work fine otherwise, and it was a bonus not to have to order one as this one came with it.The remote. I hate this remote. Simply because I can’t get it to work. I pulled the little battery tab, and expected it to start or stop the movie, or move the volume, but nothing. I sometimes can get it to stop the movie, but then it won’t work for playback. I’m going to try a different battery to see if that works, but currently, the remote is a moot point here. And you ask, “how does it fair with driving down roads with potholes the size of craters?” Very well actually. I live in the country with bad roads…hello people of Louisiana…and the dvd player holds up well with no skipping or delays if I hit a rather large bump. In all, my daughter is in love with this dvd player, and will take it everywhere with her even though she has a tv in her room or we have the tv in the living room on, she will still have a movie in it going. It’s easy enough for her to use (although I don’t let her open the dvd section or handle the dvds), the screen and volume are amazing, and it’s perfect for our long commutes. Definitely the best present I’ve given her!

Portable, long battery life, can use headphones
This has been a lifesaver! I bought this to entertain my 5 yr. old when I didn’t have a babysitter for some of my meetings. I plug in a toddler-safe a headphone set, pop in a DVD and he is quiet and happy for my hour- long meetings. I charge it before we leave the house and it has never needed to be recharged before the hour is done. I haven’t timed carefully, but I would guess it will last 3 or 4 hours before needing to be recharged. I am so happy that I don’t have to resort to giving him my phone where he might be able to access things I don’t want him to have. When he is plugged into this, I know he can’t possibly be watching anything other than the age-appropriate DVDs I have selected for him. The picture quality is good, although obviously quite small. But small is exactly what I need when I want my 5 yr. old sitting on a chair with this in his lap. It would work great for travel too, because it could be held on a lap in a train or plane, and with headphones, it would bother anyone else. It can be used with or without headphones. If we lose or break this, I would definitely buy it again.

Love this product!
We did so much research to find a portable DVD player set. We actually originally were looking at the double screen ones, but the slave monitor thing wasn’t what we wanted. We wanted players that had two separate DVD players and still could be hooked up together to watch one movie. And we wanted all the features like last memory and ports to play different mediums and such.So we got two of these instead, because some reviews said they could be connected, and the price for two was similar to the double-screen slave-monitor systems. And I’m so glad we did! Set-up was super easy! We used the aux cable we already had in our car, one goes in the AV/In, and sends to the AV/Out on the other one, and then you press Mode on the second player and Voila! Both players show the same movie. The travel car case that straps to the back of our headrests are great. They’re a little flimsy so be gentle with them, and make sure you unplug the charger before pulling it out or it could snag the side elastics. But they seem to be better than some of the other options out there. They are very secure on the seats and have buckles, not velcro. The car chargers work well, as do the wall chargers. We have two cigarette lighters in our van, so that’s not an issue for us to plug two in at a time. And they can charge and play the movie at the same time without blowing a fuse (which someone who reviewed another brand said happened). The picture quality and sound are great! Some reviews said the sound is a little quiet when the car ride is going, and I can see what they mean there. It’s not going to be like your home entertainment center. But it’s great for our little girls. Honestly, when their movie is playing I don’t want it to be too loud because I want to hear my audiobook up front. We will use the speakers that way, and to give us more options, we also ended up buying two bluetooth headphone sets, and a bluetooth transmitter so that they could watch their movie and we didn’t have to listen to it too. It works great with the players; it just plugs into the headphone port and we pair the BT headphones to it and both girls can watch and listen to the same movie and we don’t have to up front. We bought those things separately.I’ve been dinking around with these for about a week now and I love everything about them! I haven’t tried playing a movie off of USB or an SD card yet. And likewise I haven’t tried to AV/IN – OUT connect the players while playing off of those formats. So I don’t know how those work yet, but I’ll find out later. We’re about to head out on a cross-country road trip and so we’ll see how they hold up for that! Some other reviews said that they don’t last very long and will go out after a few months or even weeks. But we’ll see how these do for us.I did notice that on one of our players when you plug the headphones all the way into the jack, it only picks up sound in one earbud. But then I pulled it out just a little bit and it made connection and both earbuds played. The other player didn’t have that problem at all. If we end up using the headphone jack a lot that could end up being a little annoying if it means our toddlers’ sound goes in and out when they bump the cord, but hopefully it won’t be a big issue.I really like the design of these. You do have to take them out of the holders and flip up the screen to be able to switch DVDs, but it also means the DVDs are very secure. The DVD insert design is solid and doesn’t skip even when sideways in the car.The remotes work pretty well too. I was pleased to find that one remote can work with both players so I don’t have to keep track of which remote goes to which. In the car the sensor ends up pointing up toward the ceiling, but if I hold the remote high and angle it down I can usually hit it after a couple of tries, even from the far back seat of my mini-van. I don’t think my kids could do it though. But that’s ok for now.Overall I am very pleased with this purchase so far! I will keep using them and see how long they last, and update my review if anything changes. But hopefully they’ll keep doing what they’re doing for a nice long while.

Good for the Car
We upgraded our DVD player in the car to this one and it has not disappointed us. It is good quality and the picture is really phenomenal for being a small portable DVD player. I also love that the screen and flip around if you want to take it into a hotel room or something. I will say, the cord didn’t hold up very well because a few month after we purchased this we had to buy a replacement cord but I do not think that is because of poor quality but more because my daughter doesn’t watch where she steps when she gets in the car.

Fabulous!
We drive a lot for my son’s therapy and this is a life changer! I love the size of the screen and how sturdy it attaches to the seat. Definitely helpful for those who just want a movie and not an iPad.

Works well.
I’ve had this for over a year. Bought another one as a backup. It’s a good player and has good quality sound and picture. Versatile design. Plenty of buttons from multiple angles. Remote is complex and unnecessary but a nice feature. Would recommend.

Great Video Player
I really like this portable video player. The screen quality is good/clear and the sound is good—almost too good. I haven’t used it in a car, but for around the house, it has been great! I use it mostly when bed and want to watch something I have on video. It comes with a charging cable for both the house and car. And the remote, love that it has a remote so I don’t have to mess with the player if I don’t want to. I would definitely recommend this item and would buy again if mine ever breaks.

Great dvd player but volume was low
Like the player-good picture and easy operation. We did have to purchase an additional speaker to increase to volume.
