About this item Offering the ultimate image quality, X-T5 features the class-leading, 40.2-megapixel X-Trans 5 HR CMOS sensor in a compact, lightweight body that maximizes functionality and portability. X-T5’s improved image processing algorithm delivers outstanding results, packed with detail right across the native ISO range, which now extends to ISO 125. The classic X Series design has been retained. Dials predominate, making key functions – including ISO, shutter speed and exposure compensation – quick and easy to set, even with the camera switched off. X-T5 offers a new, 1.84 million dot, three-way tilting LCD and powerful in-body image stabilization. X-T5 provides powerful image making performance to ensure it’s ready for action, no matter how fast your subject is moving. A top electronic shutter speed of 1/180,000 sec and maximum mechanical shutter speed of 1/8000 sec will stop any subject in its tracks, while a lag time of just 35 ms gives almost instantaneous response when the shutter release is pressed. Keep a finger down, and X-T5 will record images at up to 15fps with the mechanical shutter, or 20fps with the electronic shutter. With the NP-W235 battery, up to 680 frames can be recorded from a single charge, plus the mechanical shutter guarantees 500,000 actuations, delivering long-term accuracy and reliability. Thanks to X-T5’s in-body image stabilization (IBIS) system, camera shake will be a thing of the past – even in low-light conditions. It works in five axes, combatting all types of camera movement, and provides up to seven stops of compensation. IBIS works with the camera’s subject detection autofocus, which uses deep-learning AI to expertly track animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, planes and trains. Tracking moving subjects is made easier by the detailed electronic viewfinder (EVF), which uses 3.69 million dots to provide a bright, vibrant display. The EVF offers 0.8x magnification for an easy-to-view image. The 100fps refresh rate, meanwhile, allows virtually blackout-free image making. Following in the footsteps of X-H2, find the stunning Pixel Shift Multi-Shot mode in X-T5, delivering detailed files like never before. The feature utilizes the camera’s IBIS system to precisely shift the sensor, automatically recording 20 separate frames with one press of the shutter release. Resulting files are combined using Pixel Shift Combiner software to quadruple the camera’s resolution and produce a detail-rich, 160-megapixel file. Perfect for commercial applications or digital archiving, it’s also ideal for any static subject where image quality is of primary importance. X-T5’s capabilities are enhanced by its powerful video functions, which complement the camera’s impressive stills performance. Movies can be recorded internally at up to 6.2K/30p in 4:2:2 10-bit color, plus there’s a 4K HQ mode which oversamples 6.2K footage for superior 4K output. Both F-Log and F-Log2 recording are possible, the latter providing expanded dynamic range of 13+ stops, plus 12-bit Apple ProRes RAW and Blackmagic RAW can be output via HDMI, to Atomos and Blackmagic devices accordingly.
Comparable in size to the original X-T1 and 50g lighter than its predecessor, X-T5 features the latest high-resolution, 40-megapixel X-Trans 5 HR sensor for simply stunning results. Quick and easy to use thanks to its classic, dial-based layout, the camera features cutting-edge technology. This includes a seven-stop in-body image stabilization system, Pixel Shift Multi-Shot mode for 160-megapixel files, three-way tilting LCD with 1.84 million pixels and action-freezing shutter speeds up to 1/180,000 sec from the electronic shutter. In addition to its versatile suite of stills capabilities, X-T5 is also a highly capable moviemaking machine, recording up to 6.2K in 4:2:2 10-bit color internally – or 12-bit Apple ProRes RAW and Blackmagic RAW via HDMI.

arrived missing the manual and broken
What I liked was of course what I like about all of fuji cameras. I love the layout of the controls, I love the color science and the appearance of the images. What I did not like was the fact that this was missing the printed manual and that the spring in the battery compartment had been bent over and smashed so that it would not eject the battery.I suspect that this had been returned to amazon and that it had not been properly inspected.

I absolutely love this camera
I previously used a Fuji XH-1 (before that an XT10) and this is by far the best one yet. The extra megapixels have actually turned out to be so useful. I love being able to crop more without really loosing too much detail. On top of that, I love the tactile dials of course. It’s one of the reasons I picked Fuji in the first place and why I can’t imagine using a camera without them. I also really love the more compact size. I recently acquired the 27mm pancake for this camera and the ability to fit this in my small sling bag is a total game changer. I take this camera everywhere to the point where my wife makes fun of me for brining it places where I probably won’t use it… You never know what you’ll run into that will make an awesome picture. For years, people have complained about the app and connectivity, but I’ve never had an issue. The new app also seems to work a lot better than the old one. To be clear, I don’t think the app is anything special, but it sure is faster and more reliable than the old one. Also, people on the App Store are giving it terrible ratings because it requires you to allow location services to be always on in the app. I’d argue this reaction is a bit extra. At the end of the day if you use an iPhone loaded up with a ton of apps it’s likely your information, location, and everything else is already out there for the taking.

Probably the best APSC camer. Not going back to FF
I started my Fujifilm journey about a year ago. It was purely accidental and when j saw the black and white photos taken on a Xt1. I was immediately fell in love with camera. I consider my myself as an amateur photographer ( it’s depends on what people think of ) . But I must say I had experience in the professional field as a architecture photographer, wedding and family and portrait photographer. I used to take small wedding by myself and I used to go as a second photographer to work with pros. During the last decade or so, I used Nikon, canon, Sony from d90 to canon 5d mark 3. When I was going for myMasters, I didn’t have time for photography and I sold all my gearsAfter a year or so, I started feeling like I miss my cameras like I was really tired of using iPhone for taking photos ( now they improved a lot, but still it cannot outperform a camera ) .so I decided to to checkout a local store I end trying out the fujifilm xt1.. Man what a camera.. Its not the camera it’s the photos, those high contrasty, almost looks like a post production done photos within the camera.. Like I Dont want to touch them with lightroom anymore. And the very intuitive physical buttons and dials, excellent film simulations ( not quite your typical photo filters ) .. For me this was solid.. I used that xt1 for year’s and I took it for a cross country trip 2 times, withstand sandstorm, 2 seconds long submerge in a water stream, 3 international trips to hot weather.. And finally after getting all the hefty tolls.. I decided to upgrade.. And I waited for reason to upgrade.. For me even when xt4 came out, I still thought my xt1 was fine.. But then its started showing some problems.. Finally I upgraded xt5..1)best autofocus, especially with my Fuji slow as AF 56 1.22) small and thin body like xt13) excellent battery4) great and upgraded vital view finder5) 40 mp sharp as af photos6) probably the best high ISO – low noise on any APS-C camera I ever used.7) in my personal opinion, the colors are more realistic and not overly saturated8) more controls on Q menu ( DR, WB, eye focus etc )I think this is the most satisfying camera I ever used, I can say this confidently becouse I uses a lot of cameras over the years during my work. Some of the cameras my best value purchase I always get used camera and lenses to save money.Buy for this Fuji, I paid the full price for a new Camera and so happy I purchased this. If anyone out there looking for camera to get into the magic of photography this is.. You will truly appreciate photography. U will be happy with photos you take. This camera will make you to go for a street walk, go to places bcz you will never get tired of taking photos.

Nice Camera. Action/Wildlife shooters BEWARE.
I was excited to buy this camera a few months ago, but the more I’ve lived with it I find critical flaws. I loved the design, look, and that all the settings knobs are old-school cool. How you like to photograph will determine if this camera is right for you. From my perspective, I am a photo enthusiast more interested in photography than video. Through my journey I found myself increasingly focused on wildlife and invested in the beautiful Fuji 150-600 super telephoto lens. It’s good glass, but operates at a maximum aperture of f/8 at 600mm. Unless in very bright light, the ISO must be set very high to catch action.Enter the first big flaw. This 40+MP sensor on a crop format just has horrible high ISO noise. There’s no sugar coating it. I mean, it’s bad, bad, bad, and such high pixel density seems to make it worse. I patched this problem with AI noise reduction, which helps, but images just can’t compare with full frame sensor. I found it has decent results up to ISO6400 only IF you fill the frame and have lots of light (but that would mean low shutter speeds!). For a budding wildlife shooter, this is a deal-breaker because many of our best opportunities come at long focal length in the golden hours or in the shade and we need to stop action. Any cropping or underexposure with this sensor at high ISO will leave you disappointed. If all you do is use shorter focal lengths, fast glass, low ISO, or can afford slower shutter speeds, this might be the camera for you. If you’re into action or wildlife, look at other systems and don’t make my mistake. You can change lenses all you want, but if the weakness is in the sensor the problem can’t be patched. You absolutely MUST have a lot of light. In my case I made the mistake of using the “wrong tool for the job.”Second big flaw: For all that’s holy, why can’t Fuji put a lock on the drive and movie/photo switches? The dials lock, but that doesn’t prevent the switches underneath from accidentally getting changed. I found on many occasions I’d take a picture, carry the camera for awhile and be in the wrong mode for taking another photo. This happened so many many times!Third big flaw: I just switched over to Sony and after the first few minutes I was astounded at how much better the AF is compared to the Fuji. I know they Fuji made improvements, but it just can’t compare. Another factor is camera speed. I found the X-T5 to take many seconds to boot up and be ready for shooting, where the Sony is lightning quick (A7iv). I found the Fuji write speed to be slow as well, especially for long exposures.I wanted so bad to love this camera and the Fuji ecosystem! It’s a beautiful and solidly built camera, but too flawed for the $$ and I will have to move on.

Best X-T Series Camera to Date
I have owned every X-T series camera since the X-T3. To me, the X-T5 combines everything I loved about the X-T3 and X-T4 in one compact package. The control dials on the X-T series cameras are a joy to use and it is the primary reason I chose the X-T5 over the X-H2. Besides the awesome ISO, shutter, and exposure compensation dials, this camera retains the wonderful photo and video mode switch. I love how easy it is to switch between stills and video and how the menu system is cleanly divided between the two modes. The Q menu on Fujifilm cameras makes it very easy to create and switch between different shooting modes. Overall the ergonomics and controls are as you would expect from a X-T series camera, refined to near perfection.Like the X-T4 and X-H2, this camera features IBIS. In my testing it works pretty well, albeit not as well as my Lumix M43 bodies. I would trust it for most normal shooting conditions, just don’t try to do a 4 second handheld shot.Image quality of this sensor is an area of debate for me. For the most part, I can’t really tell the difference between this sensor and the previous 26MP version. To get the most out of this lens, you need to use one of the lenses Fujifilm have listed as capable of high resolution. I own most of those lenses and have tested them extensively. Despite this, to really a see a difference in the resolution, you need to have really good shooting conditions and zoom into the image considerably. If I were producing prints, I would probably see the difference there. But for mainly digital mediums, like social media, etc, the extra resolution is not readily apparent. An argument could be made for the ability to crop in further without a huge loss in quality. This ability to crop in is a good advantage to have, especially if you need extra reach without having a super telephoto lens. Some of my initial worries were regarding noise. The old adage is the smaller the pixel the more noise your images will have. I have found this to not really be the case with this new sensor. Side by side, I have been hard pressed to tell the difference in noise between the new sensor and the old one. That alone is a huge achievement on Fujifilm’s part. For an APS-C sensor, I find the dynamic range and high ISO performance to be excellent. More than good enough for my needs and preferences. Some say that the X-Trans sensor produces a more pleasing noise profile and I tend to agree. The noise is a bit more ‘film-like’ than some other sensors I have used. Overall, I would say this new sensor is a triumph and the next logical step for the X-Trans sensor to take. In a future camera, I would love to see a stacked version of this chip like the X-H2s.Other good points include the excellent battery life, improved over the X-T4 by a large margin (using the same battery), and the addition of high quality 4:2:2 bit video profiles and 6k recording. There are a few cons with this camera, but they are mainly vs Fujifilm’s higher end offerings. The OVF resolution is the same as the X-T4, not the higher 5 million dot OVF the X-H2 has. The grip is a little small if using some of Fujifilm’s larger zooms. However, it balances perfectly with most of the primes. Some have bemoaned the loss of the battery grip, while it is sad to lose the option, I have never felt the need to buy one. If you’re looking for the ultimate APS-C camera from Fujifilm, you may want to look at the X-H2 and X-H2s, but if you want the ultimate in X-T series cameras, this is it. The X-T5 is my gold standard for what a stills oriented camera should be, while maintaining its jack of all trades, hybrid shooting prowess so many have grown to love.

Improved under the hood performance but
New and improved from the XT4. Auto focus is great, the sensor is so much better! My only complaint is that the dials and buttons feel…offf. The dials seem mushy and you can accidentally switch from Stills to Movie by moving the SS too fast. The XT4 had better quality buttons and dials. It was clickier.

Solid as a rock!
Switching to Fuji, had my A73 and then my R5. I like the Canon, but I missed my 3rd party lens support, ie. sigma lenses. Now I feel like I have the best of both, Fuji’s fantastic colors and lens support from 3rd party’s. Hard to beat that old school feel with all of the manual settings, not to mention a 40mp sensor with ibis! Love this thing!

Pinnacle of the X-T Line of Fuji Cameras
I have owned most of the Fuji X-T cameras over the years, and have been exceptionally pleased with all of them. This latest iteration is quite a jump forward in the X-T line for a number of reasons. First, it employs the new 40mp back-lit sensor found in the X-H2, and also matches it with the latest processor for high-speed processing of images while shooting. Next, for photographers only, it employs the more traditional tilt and shift LCD screen (videographers will be happier with the
Fujifilm X-H2
, which see). Next, it employs the latest algorithms for processing jpg files to produce images that are improved even over the X-T4. Finally, it is 50g lighter than the X-T4 and a bit physically smaller, as well, in spite of employing IBIS. I have been using the X-T5 for a number of days now and am greatly impressed with the image quality and the performance of the unit, not to mention the physical design which makes it comfortable to hold (the right side of the camera has a somewhat beefier design than previous X-T cameras). This is definitely a photographer’s camera. Yes, it takes extremely high quality video and is no slacker on the video side, but everything about this camera’s design and implementation screams photography. For those who love the manual settings knobs at the top of the camera, they are all there, and the scroll wheels are there (and clickable, too!) as well. It has a smooth and quiet shutter sound. The IBIS is highly effective: almost none of my shots thus far have suffered from camera shake (Fuji claims 7 stops of anti-shake, but I can only go by my own field testing). The LCD screen is just what photographers–at least most of them–have been waiting for. The ability to tilt the screen up and down and to the right allows for a number of photographic angles to be taken with ease. Be sure to put a screen protector on the screen itself, since it will always be on the outside of the camera. At the fine setting, jpgs come out at approximately 20-30 MB each due to the 40 mp sensor. Uncompressed raw images come out at about 80 MB each. So, you’ll need a large pair of cards (the X-T5, of course, comes with two SDXC slots). I’m using a pair of high-speed 256Gb cards. And yes, you will want to get the fastest cards you can so the performance of the camera is not slowed up by a slow card write. This is a terrific camera. Of all the X-T cameras I have used over the years, this is by far the best. It is comfortable, powerful, and represents the pinnacle of Fuji’s technology to date. I highly recommend it.Two-Month UpdateI took the camera to France for about a month and was extremely impressed with its performance. I used the camera primarily with the Fujinon XF 16-80mm lens, but I also used the XF 10-24mm and the diminutive 18mm f/2 lens. Of the many shots I took over the period, only a couple out of hundreds were out of focus, and those were the fault of the user (me). My shots came out crisp, sharp, and with beautiful color (I was using the standard color film simulation setting for this trip), and it was a delight to use the camera. It was a definite upgrade from previous X-T cameras that I have owned and my “hit rate” was much higher than with previous models. Focus was extremely fast and accurate. Yes, it would have been even nicer if the camera had the extra-deep grip style of the X-H1, and yes, it would have been nicer to have had the higher resolution viewfinder of the X-H2, but in normal daily usage, I was not really bothered by either of these issues. I was extremely pleased with the photographic results and greatly enjoyed using the camera. I used the camera primarily in interior settings (churches, museums, chateaux, etc.) and the camera handled these challenging settings with ease. I was delighted to be able to use this photographic tool on this trip, and it confirmed that this is Fuji’s best X-T camera to datePLUSSES++ Superb 40mp back-lit sensor++ IBIS is incorporated and is highly effective++ Traditional X-T physical layout (knobs and dials) is maintained++ Highly customizable and programmable buttons and dials++ Higher speed processor to keep up with the sensor++ 50g less than the X-T4 and a bit physically smaller++ Makes use of the new high-capacity Fuji battery, and gets over 700 shots per charge!++ Great looks++ Price has remained constant from the X-T4, no price increase for the newer technology++ Yay! The tilting LCD screen is back (again, videographers will prefer the X-H2’s screen design)++ Q button can be very helpful++ Now includes 3-D tilt display as a screen optionMINUSES– Still wish it were a bit lighter– No charger included in the package– Will be somewhat difficult to get in these early days after release– Some default menu settings need to be changed for optimal performance– Does not have the delightful feather trigger release of the old X-H1– Viewfinder resolution could have been higher– LCD resolution could have been higher– It’s too bad the deep hand grip design of the X-H1 was not used, but that does not conform to the X-T “form”On the XF 16-80mm Lens…Although this review focuses on the camera, a short mention concerning the XF 16-80mm lens that comes in one of the kits is warranted. Don’t mistake the XF 16-80mm as a “kit” lens… the XF 16-80mm is one of the finest zoom lenses Fuji makes, and that’s saying a lot. It is sharp throughout its range, is very well built, is relatively light and small, and just generally turns out superb images. It is one of my favorite Fuji lenses and I’ve used the majority of the lenses Fuji makes, and for some people, it might be all that is needed for the majority of shooting. Pairing it with the X-T5 camera is an excellent choice! The XF 18-55mm lens could be similarly praised for similar reasons, but the greater reach on both ends of the XF 16-80mm lens makes it the lens of choice for a single lens solution. It may not be QUITE as sharp as the prime Fuji lenses such as the XF 18mm f/2, but it is spectacularly close, and it is highly unlikely you’ll be disappointed with its performance. It truly is a great zoom lens that easily meets the 80/20 rule.

In love with this camera!
I was skeptical in buying this camera online, but I finally pulled the trigger and got it after much research and debate. After receiving it, I am glad I did. This is a gorgeous unit/kit. The camera came earlier than expected, which is always nice. Have been playing with it for a couple weeks and I really don’t have any complaints. I’m glad I made the upgrade.

Outstanding Camera -Lives up to the Hype
Easily the best camera I’ve bought and ever owned. I researched this a lot and am very pleased, it’s just like the reviews say. A high quality camera that I’m looking forward to growing in to and improve my skills. Particularly like the film simulations and custom modes. Just 3 pics of what this camera can do – deer in the snow with ilford HP 5 simulation, night shot hand held and setting blood moon early in the morning over Lake Huron.

I fell in love with this camera.
There’s nothing bad to say about the Fuji XT-5. Everything, from size to screen to EVF to price is amazing. The 40.2 MP sensor is stunning and delivers incredible images. The autofocus is divine and super quick and accurate on this camera. Even when using this camera for sports, I get very very few misses. The EVF is also amazing, especially it’s super high quality. I also love the 3-way tilt screen, coming from a flip-out I 100% prefer the three-way tilt (note: I focus primarily on photography, which is what the screen is made for). I definitely would recommend this camera to anyone with the budget for it. I love it and enjoy shooting with it.

The best APSC to date for photography (not video)
For context I’ve had a Fuji X mount camera since the X-T1. Most recently upgraded from the X-T30 to the X-T4 and now the X-T5.The bad first:It isn’t as good as an autofocus as other camera lines. It is the best in Fuji’s line of cameras, the same as the X-H2 and 2s.The material it is made out of feels cheaper and more brittle than the X-T4, but better the the X-T30. This is probably how they got the weight down from the X-T4, reduced body size and thinner less dense materials. It feels strong enough to do the job.The ergonomics haven’t changed with few exceptions. I have bigger hands, and require a grip accessory to properly hold most X mount camera’s. Even the X-S10 and X-H bodies feel small. I miss that the X-T5 will not have a battery grip option. But it’s definitely not a deal breaker. Most lenses are balanced on the X-T5 body. The bigger lenses like the XF80, 90 and the new viltrox 75 for example also balance fairly well on the body, even though it is smaller than the X-T4.The pixel shift multishot 160MP feature just does not work. I’ve tried for several weeks to get it to work and it doesn’t. I have a well lit environment, with static objects, and a tripod. The images that the software produce always have errors, and they either output a smaller 14MP file or wont render at all. I haven’t gotten any help online about this, and I figure a future firmware update might fix this. I don’t know, but I feel like this is a huge let down about this camera. Now for the good:Amazing image quality, even with older (that don’t resolve the full 40MP) lenses. I do a lot of landscape and general outdoor photography, but even with portraits. The extra definition you get lets you be more free with compositions; I can use a wider lens and crop or when doing a headshot I just have more to work with overall. The camera body wont be the bottleneck for image quality. I worry some 3rd party lenses wont resolve the entire 40MP.The IBIS is just ever so slightly better than the X-T4. Honestly I couldn’t tell a difference. The back panel is back to the X-T3 style and I couldn’t be happier. I hate having a flip out screen on my photography camera. I’m not a youtube creator. I’m behind the camera, not in front of it. There are more affordable and better options for that kind of camera (use a modern cell phone with a tripod). This is still a robust video capable camera. It handles almost exactly like the X-T4.The mechanical shutter is wonderful. The electronic shutter is very capable. There is rolling shutter, but you wont get away from that unless you get the X-H2s or change systems.TL;DRIt’s great at taking photo’s. It’s good at video. It’s not everyone’s preference in ergonomics, but it is more than acceptable. It has the classic X-T line of controls with no compromise to PASM users. I love my camera. If you have an X-T4, and aren’t going to utilize the improvements (40MP, better IBIS, better AF) don’t upgrade. If you have a camera older than the X-T4 I suggest considering a used X-T4 or a new X-T5. You wont regret either.

I have been a Fujifilm shooter since 2019 started with the X-T2 (also the X-T100 for the wife) I upgraded to the X-T4 for better autofocus when shooting sports. It worked much better than the X-T2 in that genre but still lacked good autofocusing overall. I switch this year 2023 (February) to the X-T5 and I have been very happy with the AF performance. The new Firmware v2.0 just came out and it promises to even improve the AF.

It’s a nice light camera with lots of features
The X-T5 is a great little camera with most of the options of, say, a Nikon 850, but not as heavy. It takes great pictures, living up to the reputation Fujifilm had in the days of film: beautiful color, crispness and beautiful details. The biggest problem to me was that it came with no manual. Nikon gives you a little book of all that is possible to do on and with the camera. Fuji has a manual, but you have to print it (over 300 pages) yourself. Because the print format doesn’t render it portable, you can’t just stick in your camera bag and take it with you. That’s really not too much to gripe about though!

Doesn’t turn on
Left it to charge for a bit after taking it out of the box; the light indicator was on and everything. When I returned and tried to switch it on, nothing. Tried charging for a bit longer…still nothing. I was using the included battery and charging cable. Maybe the battery, I thought, so I bought a brand new one. Left it charging for a few hours and still nada. Amazon rep not seeing Replacement option in order so I have to return and then place another order but I don’t have a remaining credit limit big enough to do so by this upcoming Wednesday. Sold my old camera in order to buy this one and I have a trip planned in a few days, which is completely my fault but never had this issue buying New from Amazon when Amazon is also seller. We’ll see. Will update review when I figure out exactly what is wrong with it.

1st Fujifilm Camera
I’ve been a life long canon user. After seeing fujifilm blow up on popularity I had to give it a try. After playing with this camera on a night shoot with fog, I will say this camera is impressive with this little sensor it has. I like the film simulations and I’m glad I got this as opposed to the x100v. I’m not limited to a single focal length and the lens prices are crazy cheap compared to my RF Canon lenses. With Canon a 1.2 Aperture L Series lens costs over $2500. I can buy every lens focal length I’ll ever need under $4000. To put this into perspective, I’ve spent over $30,000 on Canon RF lenses. This makes me happy with the affordablabillity of fujifilm for I have a hell of a lot of fun with this camera. The colors fujifilm produces are the the soul purpose of me buying something other than canon for that is why I’ve always stuck with canon. I have no regrets and I am so happy I am a new fujifilm fan.

Fujifiln X-T5

Top of the line ! Beginner Friendly
This camera is well rated among top camera reviews and photographers. It’s top of the line for still photography, the video taking is good as well . I’m extremely please with the quality of this camera, the strap is top quality, it feels good when shooting . Fujiflim did not disappoint and did not spare quality or durability with this model ! Beginner to professional this camera won’t let you down .

Fantastic photographers camera.
I am really impressed with autofocusing performance with a new x series Fujifilm camera. Now, I can use eye auto focus with hesitate. New 42mp sensors image quality is very impressive. Dynamic range is improved and easy to post processing with image editing software. The downside is for the cideo recording issues. Sensor read speed is very low compared to the xt4, and fast-moving shots were very jagged. Rolling shutter effects can’t be avoided with new XT5. Also, new versions don’t have flip screens. That really matters for Vloggers.

Great camera!
This is probably the best camera I have owned – and I’ve owned high end CANON and Olympus cameras for the past 30 or so years. The kit lens is excellent. An added bonus is the web site and the available tutorials from Fuji – which was a pleasant surprise.

One of the best 📸 on the market
The media could not be loaded.
I’ve been on a photographer for quite some time, having previously shot with a Canon 6D and even shot with the Sony a6300. But ever since I made the leap to purchase the Fujifilm X-T5 back in April (April 2023), my entire perspective on photography shifted. The camera’s design and ergonomics feel just right, providing an intuitive shooting experience unlike any other. The design and ergonomics bring a tactile and intuitive experience, but it’s the film simulations and the Fujifilm creator community (FujiXWeekly app) film recipes that truly shine for me. They have added a unique touch to my photos, giving them that special character reminiscent of different shot styles I want to emulate or make my own. I’ve taken the X-T5 on several trips, and it has undoubtedly become my go-to camera for travel photography. Its combination of portability, versatility, and that signature Fujifilm charm makes every shot a delight. The X-T5 hasn’t just been a training tool, but rather a partner in helping me translate my vision into a tangible, timeless photograph. There’s a certain magic in visualizing a shot and then seeing it come to life exactly as you imagined, and this camera has made that process seamless.Whether you’re an enthusiast like me, rediscovering your love for the craft, or someone who has a career in photography, the X-T5 offers a balance of modern features and classic charm that’s hard to resist. Highly recommended for anyone looking to elevate their photography journey.

Excellent upgrade from the XT2
Definitely worth the upgrade from an XT2. My only complaints are that autofocus should be closer to Sony at this point (what gives, Fujifilm???) and at this price point you’re in full frame territory (for the body not not the lenses!). Low light noise levels are worse than my X100V.If using a flash and the right lens like the Xf 16 1.4, pictures are stunningly pin sharp.

Somewhat disappointed by the the 40mp sensor
I have mixed feelings after owning the X-e3 and a X-Pro3. Why ? after doing a bit of pixel peeking, I feel I have better sharpness with the 24mp and 26mp than the 40mp of the X-T5. I’ve been trying all primes and zoom from 18mm til 300mm they all look sharper on the 20’s mp sensors. Quite a bit of noise also on photos past iso 800. So I am not sure that this race to the MP is sensitive. I have better photos with the smaller sensors.

Endless possibilities for amazing photos!
I love this camera. I came from a FujiX100V that was a beautiful camera but limiting in so many ways. Now I feel like the power is unleashed.

High Resolution Sensor
Fujifilm lenses I own did not have the resolving power for this camera. I returned it with total regret. I hope Fujifilm will develop higher resolution APSC lenses in the future. I will definitely buy one of these when that happens.

Fuji again rules
I have been using xt2, xt3, xt4, and xh1;Now, I am using xt5 and x100v.So let’s jump into the business. Autofocus: still lacking object tracking. I wish they could add it via firmware update. It significantly improved, but sometimes it shows you focused on your left eye, but in the photo, it turns out you have focused right eye. It’s frustrating. Screen: ok, there is now a way to get more pixels, but I wished to get rid of fully articulating screens because, for photographers, it is hard to point at a subject when your screen is not directly in the same direction. 40mp, this is the most crucial aspect of my decision. I am using mainly 50-140mm, which provides excellent pictures. Now they are 50% sharper and more accurate. Overall this is an ideal device for me because #fujicolors change everything. It is hard to get out of this system beacuse they create products that you stick with them forever. Keep doing great job you.

Love this camera so much I wrote a poem
The Fujifilm X-T5 is quite a sight,A mirrorless camera that’s just right. The image quality is top-notch,And built so tough, it’s hard to botch. With 40 megapixels, it takes great pics,And fast shutter speeds, it really sticks. The IBIS makes low light a breeze,And EVF tracks subjects with ease. This camera is not for the faint of heart,As it comes with a price tag that’s quite a part. But for pros and enthusiasts, it’s worth the dough,As it delivers the performance they want to show.

Sony convert – very happy.
I loved my Sony a7iv – outstanding full frame camera. But for my needs and style, the Fuji won out. I love this camera and it BEGS me to pick it up and use it. An extraordinary experience in every way. I’m now a Fuji guy, and likely will stay that way.

Totally Awesome Camera!
It takes excellent pictures using the default settings. There is so much more that this camera can do. I really need to study the online manual more but it works great right out of the box.

Shipping was ridiculously fast, arrived 3 days prior to estimate. Very happy with purchase and finally getting my hands on an X-T5.I opted to pay the extra for a kit lens as individual camera bodies are back ordered everywhere.

The product was working great then all of a sudden it froze. I can’t back out if I looked back at what I took and I couldn’t do anything unless I took out the battery. The pictures were amazing though.

Don’t order with lens!!!
I ordered the XT5 with a 16-80mm lens. When I opened the box it only contained the body. Looking at the box description under package content no where does it say a 16-80mm lens. Yet someone (either Amazon or Fuji stuck a sticker on the side that says T5 mirrorless digital camera xf16-80mm lens kit. This box provided is for body only. It cannot fit a lens in this box. It’s too small for it. I am now doing a refund and hopefully won’t have a problem getting my money back.

This is my first real Camera
Im not a long term or a professional photographer so I’m writing this from the perspective of a casual. I use this Camara for road trips, important events, etc. The Menu is easy to use and the built in filters are quite helpful for different type of styles you may wish to take. Of course, I’m terms of the product itself it’s quite light and the battery life has last me days and makes me feel you don’t really need a second battery unless you’re using for professional purposes. If you simply are buying to be your family’s camera, then it’s worth every dollar.

A huge improvement over the X-T3
This camera is nearly everything I hoped it would be in terms of improvement over the X-T3. Autofocus is significantly improved, and having animal eye detect is extremely helpful for taking pictures of my dog. The images are not noticeably noisier than the 26mp sensors in high ISO/low light. Build quality is very good and the grip is significantly better than the X-T3. I had to use a hand grip attachment on the X-T3, but I am comfortable using any lens without a grip on the X-T5. However, I highly recommend the Smallrig hand grip for this camera. If you own a silver one, it blends seamlessly with the camera and offers a bit better control with larger lenses.

The best Fuji camera for most people
I upgraded from a X-Pro3 and am very happy with this camera so far. The X-Pro3 would be perfect if the rear screen didn’t make it nearly impossible to use on a tripod. But since that’s not the case, I decided to buy the X-T5.So far, the major standouts to me are the IBIS and the viewfinder on the X-T5. IBIS makes video easy with any lens, even the non-stabilized primes. The viewfinder is an upgrade coming from the X-Pro3. I am surprised many reviewers are listing it as a negative since it’s so large and easy to see. It’s also excellent to have the 3-way tilt screen back. Really, all-in-all this is the best Fuji possible camera for most people.

Great camera but…
The camera itself was great, I love the camera. I ordered mine brand new, sold and shipped by Amazon. I ordered the bundle with the kit lens, 16-55mm f2.8-4. The lens wasn’t in the box. I reached out to Amazon and they said it pretty much wasn’t their problem. I had to run to my local camera store and purchased an used Fujifilm lens.Imagine buying your first brand new camera, just to have your heart crushed by Amazon’s lack of accountability.

Keeps compatiblitly with XT-1 peripherals
Finally upgraded from my beloved XT-1.. The Metz Mecablitz M400 flash works perfectly, had to do nothing… it was like I was using the XT-1. Dimensions are almost the same as the XT-! except for the thickness, which is perhaps half an inch more on the XT-5.. feel on the hand is quite similar to the XT-1.. shutter button is more spongy than the XT-1.. but otherwise I’m loving it!!. This was what I was waiting for since the XT-1. Major update in resolution but otherwise same diminutive dimensions and “analog” look/feel… thank you FUJI!!
