Does the job, subpar sound quality.

This Bluetooth receiver works great and the battery life is good. The downside is that the sound quality is very poor. I wouldn’t recommend this to an audiophile, but it would be fine for anyone that isn’t too picky.

    Works great for music

This is probably not the product for you if you are interested in purchasing it for phone call purposes. It sounds like you are far away and there’s alot of road noise (the cabin of my vehicle is pretty quite). It works great for playing music.

    Great for Local truck drivers

I typically switch into different vehicles and tractors while working. This device helps a lot with it’s long battery life and convenient pocket sized storage. I am able to work and control my music or videos with ease.

    Works great easy to connect

l was using a patch cord to connect my Fire tablet to my Aux port in my 2012 pickup. The truck has Bluetooth but for phone calls only. I was riding with a friend in his 2012 SUV and saw one of these sticking out of the Aux port. I asked what it was and it was a Bluetooth dongle his wife used to listen to audio books on her phone. I had no idea such a thing existed. I ordered the exact same one and connected the tablet to it. The sound is clearer and I don’t have to turn up the volume on the truck’s radio so high. I use it for audio books as well.

    Quality

The sound quality was left to be desired, a hum and was not as loud as my previous I immediately bought another type and am pleased. It does what it says and if I didn’t have a previous one I would not have thought twice about it.

    Love it

I had to get a replacement for my first one bc it was getting old. Saw that this was the newer version and I love it just as much as the first one. I have a 2012 and no Bluetooth and phones don’t have aux cords anymore.

  10. Geckojoe

    Don’t buy.

This doesn’t transmit a signal strong enough to overcome the weakest radio station. Even if you’re lucky enough to get a decent connection, it’ll have static and clicking noises in the music. It also doesn’t auto connect when you get in the car. Avoid at all costs.Edit: I will give them 5 Stars for customer service. They contacted me based on my review, apologized for the inconvenience, and offered a full refund, without asking me to change my review. That level of customer service is rare. I did add a star due to that.

    Many attempts, zero success

So far, I have only been able to pair with my Bluetooth pillow speaker (2 months old)and my Samsung phone (1 year old). However, I get no sound from either device. Home stereo via auxplug, no connection or sound. Indicator light shows connection. Either I am missing something, or it needs to go back.

Works well and good sound quality

I use BT adapters in my car, plugged into the AUX channel. I have an older car (2012) and although the radio does connect to BT on my phone, it’s only to send/receive phone calls. It doesn’t stream audio media. So I need a decent BT adapter to stream my music/podcasts/audio books. This works fine, and I don’t need an Equalizer app to make it sound good. Very happy with it.

Countrary to many comments here, mine does shutdown after losing the bluetooth connection for about 7 minutes.I’ve added this to a 2007 Nissan Sentra and it works great for music. The volume and sound quality is perfect. (I haven’t tried it for phone calls.)

Worked good for me, good battery life

I purchased this for use on my Harley. It works good. Better than the one I had previously. The battery life is much better than my old one. I did a 400-mile ride and the battery lasted the whole ride. I initially started out charging the unit while I was riding but there was some electrical noise coming through, so I went to battery only this sounded good, and battery lasted good.

    Bluetooth Game Changer

I was ready to downgrade my phone so I could have an AUX plug when my teen son told me to check this out – wow! It does not connect to a radio station, just your phone via Bluetooth, and because you plug it into the aux port it plays directly to the car speakers. The quality of the sound is just like straight from my stereo system, and better than when I used to plug in my iPod.Ididn’t buy this to use for calls – phone quality isn’t so great – I can hear the caller crystal clear, but there is static on their end from me no matter how close (I tried it using an aux cord so I could “wear” it like a microphone, no go).I haven’t tried it yet with a speaker, or in my classroom, but I’m loving it on my car!

    It’s Okay

I purchased this to use in my 2006 Element, (which has very little high tech features of a newer car), due to newly enacted cell phone usage laws in my State. I wanted hands free capability. On the negative side, the Bluetooth feature is less than I expected due to the proximity of where the AUX input is to plug in the unit. I hear the caller fine, (through my cars audio system), but to the caller, I sound terrible, because my voice is being picked up by this unit, and it’s not close to the drivers side of the vehicle. On the plus side, it works very well to Bluetooth music from my phone to my cars audio system, the battery life seems to be pretty good, and the price was right. I did have high hopes for this purchase, as this unit was highly recommended by an online tech guru, but for me, it only solved half my problem, and not the one that I really bought it for.

    Great solution

This has been a great solution for living in a state where handsfree is the law and our older vehicle has a headphones jack. The battery lasts pretty long. We’ve used it for days on end for road trips. Buttons not only operate the device but also can be a pause/play button for the phone. It comes with two jacks for your personal preference of a rigid connection or a wire connection. USB-C charging.

An item to have for a car with broken Bluetooth feature

I was not only hoping this can restore the Bluetooth feature for my music playback, but to enable Android Auto too, since the previous times the feature didn’t work for unknown reason. however, this does not force android auto to work with my updated android phone.

I Never Heard My Car Speakers Sound So Good

This Bluetooth Aux Adapter allows you to play music from your phone through the aux jack into your car stereo wirelessly. I’ve used a wire to connect my phone to my car radio before, but that is always cumbersome and the sound quality is not as good as using this Bluetooth receiver. I think it has something to do with the headphone jack on the phone being designed to drive earbuds, whereas the Bluetooth is designed to deliver high quality audio. This improvement was noticeable and the music sounded great.I was a bit disappointed by the battery life. After fully charging at home, I tried it after work and found that the battery had lost just over 10% over the course of the day and without being used. Granted, the vehicle was hot and it was a long day, but unusual that without a specific drain from use the battery level had dropped. On the other hand, I knew the battery level because of the digital display the device has. Finally, I’m not thrilled with the controls. Black buttons on a black background–you can’t tell which is volume up and which is down. Same with the power switch–is it the on/off button or the cover for the USB port. While is provides quality sound, it would need tweeks to improve the ease of use before I would use it everyday.

    Works good?

The battery life is great and connects via blu tooth well. The is one big problem, however. The connection in the AV input on my car isn’t great, so when I hit a bump, the sound cuts out. I can’t say that the COMSOON adaptor is to blame for that. My input might be comprimised, but I couldn’t say for sure.

    No more cord

I have been using an aux cord for the longest time and it is so nice to have my phone free in the car. My car has Bluetooth but only for phone calls so I didn’t test that part of it. You have to turn the device on every time you start the car but it connects immediately to known device. The volume isn’t as loud as my normal radio but it’s the same as the aux cord was. The display screen is only for battery life i thought it would tell me more. You can skip forward on songs with a slight hold and release on the volume up button and if you want to go back a song sought good and reuse volume down, you have to go back to the beginning of the song you’re on then do it again to get to the previous song, took me a minute to figure that out.

From how I can use it, works great

I think this Bluetooth receiver works really well and the sound is clear going through. However, I could not test the performance both ways. The AUX input in my car seems to be broken (this is the 2nd device where AUX hasn’t been recognized, so it is probably not the device), so it only worked in one way. That said, I think this is well made and will work well.

Small, simple, inexpensive Bluetooth Receiver, easy to use

I wanted a small, simple, easy to use Bluetooth receiver to use with my treadmill. This little Bluetooth receiver seemed like it would be a good fit, so I got it.This receiver is easy to connect and has some basic functions such as pause / play, volume and track skip. All functions are easy to use and seem to function well. It also can answer calls, but I didn’t test that function.I’m pretty pleased with its performance and size. The volume is fairly loud when used with headphones or my treadmill sound system. The sound is rich and clear. I did experienced some pauses or drop-outs from the Bluetooth connection at about 25 feet away while I was on my treadmill and my phone was at the other end of the room. I blame the treadmill with its large DC motor, cooling fans, digital TV, ect. I think the advertised 33 foot distance is realistic based on the environment. The 12 hour battery life claim I’m not too sure about. I notice the battery drops from 100% to about 93% in about the first 30 minutes of use. After that the battery seems to drop more slowly. I did not do a full 12 hour battery test. While I’m sure the battery will last at least 6 or 8 hours, I kind of doubt the full 12 hours of constant usage. I could be wrong, but that’s how it seems to me.I like this Bluetooth receiver / adapter, it works well. I like its size, sound quality and ease of use. The price is pretty on par with similar units. If you’re looking for a basic, simple, easy to use Bluetooth receiver with good volume and sound quality, I don’t think you can go too wrong with this one.

Works well in my older vehicle

I have an older car that doesn’t have Bluetooth, and this little adapter works amazing. It’s nice to be able to plug it in without having cords all over the place. My phone connects quickly & easily, and the audio sounds great in the car. I charged it once and haven’t had to charge it in weeks – that’s amazing. I do have to connect it to my phone everytime I get in the car, it doesn’t pair automatically, but that’s a minor inconvenience. It has a few features on the adapter itself for volume control, etc, but I tend to just use my phone. Great price point, too!

Best Bluetooth Adapter I’ve used Thus-far

The COMSOON AUX Bluetooth Adapter for Cars comes with a host of features that make it a must-have for anyone on the road. The convenient LED screen display informs me about the real-time remaining power and volume levels, allowing me to stay on top of things without any guesswork. The battery life is another great feature, offering long-lasting performance and fast charging capabilities. It’s a relief to know that I don’t have to worry about running out of power during my road trips. What’s even better is how easy it is to use. With just a simple plug into the car’s auxiliary input and a quick pairing process, I was all set to enjoy the benefits of this adapter. Music streaming and hands-free calls have become effortless and hassle-free. However, my one wish is that whenever I get back into my car, it doesn’t pair automatically – you have to turn on the device. In summary, the COMSOON AUX Bluetooth Adapter for Cars has exceeded my expectations. Its LED screen display, advanced Bluetooth technology, impressive battery life, and user-friendly setup have made it a valuable addition to my driving routine. If you’re seeking a convenient and high-quality solution for in-car connectivity, this adapter is what you’re looking for.

    Great little gadget

I had discovered these sort of gadgets existed only like 2 years ago. I have a 2009 car so I don’t have Bluetooth, only a CD player and an AUX port that I can plug USBs into. I got a cheap one of these sort of devices at a discount store and liked it a lot, but it broke recently and I wanted another one. This one is so much better than the last one! I wish I had discovered it first. It’s ridiculously easy to set up and use ans it’s really tiny so it doesn’t take up a bunch of room in your stereo area of the vehicle. Once charged, the battery lasts a decent amount of time. Sometimes I just leave it charging while I use it though so it doesn’t die on long drives. Sound quality is good too.

I use this audio streamer to listen to music on my phone. It is easy to set up. You just plug it into the Auxiliary jack of your radio, hold the power button down for a couple seconds and the radio will beep to let you know it paired successfully. Press the power button again and the music should start to play. It is great for long trips. It does the job I bought it for, and I like the battery level display. Something that not all streamers in this price point do.

    A Solid Bluetooth Adaptor

I made a mistake when ordering this item. I thought it connected to my car via a usb connector, which is the only connector my car has. This item requires your car to have a 3.5mm aux in connector (similar to what you have with wired headphones). So I haven’t been able to use it with my vehicle. I did get a chance to test it recently in a friend’s car, and it worked just fine transmitting music through the car audio system. So I will keep it, and try to find some other use for the product (perhaps plugging it into some old computer speakers to reinvent them into a bluetooth stereo system)! Just make sure your car has the proper input jack when you order.

So far so good. Good range

I am using this with my old Cambridge Soundworks stereo.First thing I charged it up to 100% then left it. Next day when I turned it on the display says E6. I looked through the user manual (yes it came with a multi-lingual user manual) and didn’t find error E6. Frustrated, I left it for a while. When I tried to turn it on later the display reads 93. Oh, it was upside down the first time.Pairing was super easy. I then took my phone to the other room and did some chores, while streaming youtube. There was no cutting out. After about 20 minutes the battery reads 96. I haven’t used it for the past two days. Every day i check it the battery reads 94.

    User Friendly and Works Perfectly

I drive an older car (2011) so it doesn’t have bluetooth or other “newer” tech in it. I was excited to find this product, and am happy to report that it works perfectly for my needs. I have finally been able to enjoy music and podcasts through my car speakers again, as well as phone calls. It only took a few minutes to charge before the first use and the charge has lasted for a couple of days so far, with the charge percent still saying it’s in the 90’s, so one charge looks like it will last through a whole work week or possibly two. Set-up was as easy as plugging it in an pushing a couple of buttons on my car’s system. Easy peasy! Very happy with this product.
