Monitor
The monitor was a quick and easy set up, nice view and color, but the only thing I didn’t like was that their were no build in speakers. You need to get your own speakers. However, everything else was fine and the size is perfect.

Used to Love Them, Now One Goes Black
Edited to update that now the second monitor is doing the same thing.I purchased two of these in July 2022 to simulate my dual monitor workstation at the office. It had been wonderful up until a couple weeks ago. Now, one of the monitors goes black for a couple of seconds and then comes back on. It’s random, I can’t pinpoint it to any one situation. I just got off the Customer Service Chat with LG and they say the issue is that the monitor isn’t plugged directly into my laptop or a splitter, that it’s connected to my docking station. I never would have purchased these if I knew they wouldn’t work with a dock. Not sure I entirely believe that’s the issue, as the other monitor does not go black, but that’s the rep told me. Sorry I bought these now.

Not compatible with Nvidia Freesync support but still a good monitor
This is a great little IPS monitor dispute it not showing up in the Nvidia control panel and in turn not allowing me to use the adaptive sync. Its still 75hz so thats a nice boost above 60. Its old news but if you weren’t aware, Nvidia drivers now supports Freesync too. Its suppose to work regardless even if its not on Nvidia’s official list but for some reason, the Gsync on/off option does not show up in the control panel for this monitor like it does for my other Freesync monitors. I am on the latest Nvidia driver 430.86. It may have to do with the lack of a Displayport on the monitor but not certain. Regardless, its a really nice little secondary monitor for me. A very decent IPS screen, 75Hz, LG’s great joystick interface for the menu, Lots of features to tweak even some gaming ones like Black level stabilizer, Overdrive and Super Resolution. The panel can get pretty bright and the colors a fairly accurate. Also VESA mountable and has super slim bezels great for multi-monitor setups.. So for the money its a pretty sweet little monitor!EDIT: After doing a bit more research, I have discovered that Gsync support for Freesync monitors REQUIRES a Displayport to Displayport connection. This monitor is only equipped with HDMI ports so it will not work. And that also includes Displayport to HDMI adapters. Those do not work either. Must be a direct DP connection.

Cord to the power brick does not even reach the ground.
If you are going to use a power brick, which is already a pain in the butt given how many spaces it takes up on a power strip, then the cord could at least be over 4′ long. 6′ is the standard length… It would be nice LG could have figured that out.

Decent for side monitors
Basic 1080 27in monitors, while they don’t pass most tests needed for gaming (blur, ghosting, inversion, artifacting, tearing, etc) they seem to do their job well as side monitors where all that isn’t needed. And the skiny bezels and VESA mount are all pluses

great for the price for basic computer functions
During the Work from Home Covid period i have ventured into upgrading and expanding my home computer system. I recently purchased a 13″ Mac Air Book and wanted some new larger monitors to go with it. I use a Targus docking station with HDMI ports for up to 4 monitors. I purchased two of these monitors to start with and love them! Super easy set up, sleek design, very easy to use. And for basic office, word docs, spreadsheets, lucid charts, and zoom calls, these are fantastic. I have not tried them for gaming so I did not rate them as such. They are HD, not 4K, so I don’t know how well they will work for gamers, but if you aren’t doing gaming or other high video output uses, these will work just fine. I just ordered two more to complete my 4 screen video wall. Looking forward to getting them set up and put to good use keeping me organized while working from home.

HIGHLY Prone to Dead Pixels
Summary: I have bought 5 of these monitors, and 3 have had dead pixels. With a 60% chance of getting one with dead pixels… I simply cannot recommend.I spent several months researching monitors for my new triple monitor home setup. I do casual gaming and some digital design work, so I wanted something with the capability of higher frame rates without losing image quality (a good balance of both worlds). All with a budget of under $200 per monitor, 24″, VESA compatible, flat screen, borderless frame, and HDMI ports (not DisplayPort). This monitor fit the bill perfectly, and is even a namebrand LG.The first three I ordered appeared perfect. However, after about 2-3 weeks of usage I noticed that two of them had dead pixels near the center of the screen (this was an extreme annoyance as they were relatively near the crosshairs on various FPS games). I returned the two and ordered another pair. Out of those two, one yet again had dead pixels (see attached image). So out of the 5 I’ve ordered, 3 have had dead pixels.I will be promptly returning ALL the monitors I have (including the two working ones). I may have 2/3 good monitors for my setup, but I’m not going to roll the dice on getting a third. Not to mention, when a company produces a product, it should be a RELIABLE product. I expect far, far better product management from LG and will be extremely hesitant on buying any of their computer products from now on.However, if you are one of the lucky 40% to get one without dead pixels, then I can’t say anything bad about the monitor, and in fact have to praise it. Very nice screen, thin edges, and the monitor controls are centered underneath and use a joystick type design I have never encountered before but am a huge fan of. I can quickly adjust settings and know exactly how thanks to the intuitive design. The 75Hz FreeSync gaming mode is also a must have. I can’t say anything regarding the base as I never used them (I mounted them to a triple monitor VESA mount).

THIS is the monitor you want.
I LOVE this monitor. Period. I researched monitors for 2 months, and wound up buying this one. You might not realize it, but buying a monitor in this price range often will lead you to a monitor with slower refresh rates and very few inputs/outputs. Of all monitors in this price range, this is the one. TWO HDMI slots, (Most have 1. Trust me, you want 2 HDMI slots). A headphone jack (Very handy, and you’ll definitely realize you want this option later down the road.).. the screen is BRIGHT and crisp, and the pixellation is not bad at all considering the pixels are stretched. It’s an IPS monitor, which is the future of monitors, unlike older TFT/LED monitors. The base is sturdy enough, and I would definitely buy it again.

Light and thin – always loved LG products
The only thing I had an issue was having the computer recognize it as a second monitor, even after installing the driver. The driver, in which had to be downloaded from the site, CD that came with it was nice, but like many, my computer don’t have a cd rom, lol. Nevertheless, unplugging the first monitor and restarting, it is finally there working. Yes, a bit of a hassle, but I guess worth it.Not sure about the gaming features, since I’m not a child, I’m in my 30’s, but perfect for your work from home uses (due to this epidemic) as well as stock trading. I do recommend it, unfortunately there a limited so good luck finding this size.

Nice monitors
These were an upgrade for my home system.There is very little bevel, the screens are bright and clear.The issue I have is that they use a unique power cord, and the cord is fairly short. I have them on a dual mount and have to let the cords hang down because they are not long enough for tunneling in the cord keeper on the mount.

Using as a Day-Trading monitor
Was using a TV (about same size) as a monitor. Sitting in front of it for hours made my eyes burn/hurt emitting blue light problem???) . Installed this LG monitor and that problem went totally away. Can stay in front of it for hours with no eyestrain or burning. EXCELLENT! Clarity is great, no matter what you may read on some of these reviews! I have owned several brands of monitors and this is the best yet! Would/will but again. Thank You for a high quality product & relief from eye strain.

Monitors are not height adjustable
I cannot adjust these monitors up and down they are one height and that’s it. So I am crinking my neck looking down since I am a tall person.

A beautiful image with sharp and stunning colors.
The screen delivers a very sharp, stunningly beautiful image. Colors are right on target and there is a wow feeling. I can’t stay away. I still haven’t figured out how to open the monitor settings screen on my computer, but the settings from the button on the back are good enough to tweak the monitor to my taste. Negatives are that the stand is not sturdy and that it does not tilt at all. I’ll have to buy a stand to raise the monitor about three inches. Instructions not a strong point. But the beautiful image more than makes up for the negatives.

Skinny bezels, good colors, and perfect size
Monitor matches up perfectly when horizontal to my LG 34in ultrawide, and the bezels are very small which is crucial as a second monitor. Great colors similar to my other LG. Currently using as a vertical monitor, and it works great for that as well. Perfect size for two fully opened windows stacked.VESA mounts are nice quality as well and I felt no suspicious flexing or looseness. Great monitor for the price.

Love my new LG 24MK600M-B 24” Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS Display! It’s brighter than any other TV I’ve had in my kitchen, and the pedestal stand fits perfectly on my little table in the corner. Would heartily recommend it.

Great Monitor, Awful Stand
The monitor is high quality with great color, really thin, nice design. The only thing I don’t like is the included stand – it is very unstable. Just pressing the power button or resting my forearms on the desk is enough to make the whole monitor wobble. If you are going to mount this monitor on a separate stand or bracket, it is a great buy – 10/10. But if you are looking for a monitor with a good included stand to support it independently look elsewhere.

Took a chance on it and is now becoming the best money I’ve spent in a while!
I originally purchased a New Acer SB220Q IPS 21.5″ Zero Frame Monitor. I purchased it based on the many reviews and was also ranked #1 in Best sellers in Amazon. The Acer Monitor picture quality at the time seemed great and the monitor itself was thin but I started having intermittent screen issues with it. I was desperately looking for a replacement during the next 2 days reading reviews on similar priced monitors. I just could not find anything else that appealed to me and I didn’t want to take a chance on replacing with the same model Acer. Then I found this LG 24MK600M-B 24 Inch Full HD Monitor. Regular price on it was way over my returned monitor Amazon credit but I saw one that was only $13 dollars more at $108 but said was in “Used Very Good” condition. It had only one review to go by and after reading all the features, its 24″ and checking LG’s Website I took a chance. The monitor arrived and was actually still Brand New and only the retail box had some storage damage on one corner. This was why it was described “Used Very Good” on the condition. I don’t care the box is getting thrown out anyway. Once I hooked up the monitor and turned it on I immediately saw a quality difference in the picture over the Acer. More detail, the colors were more accurate and text was not grainy as was on the Acer. This was before I even calibrated it! Once calibrated it is now better than I ever hoped it would be. I Love it and I’m also getting a nice jump in screen size from 21.5″ to a 24″. This makes all the difference for me as my vision isn’t as great as it used to be. I definitely would recommend this monitor to others. The monitor is exactly 24″ measured diagonally not including the bezel. Someone posted a negative comment that it was 20″ which it is not.

Great Features at a Great Price
I got this monitor for a small gaming PC I have on a budget. It works wonderfully and I’m impressed with how much you get for the price from a name brand.This monitor ticks off nearly all of the important marks: IPS panel, 1080p, 75 hz refresh rate, Freesync, slim bezels, and VESA mount compatability. Additionally, this monitor has a great OSD system with the single joystick. I’ve played a lot of games on it ranging from Doom to XCOM and I haven’t seen any issues.My only complaints are that the default stand kind of sucks (to be expected for the price) because it only offers tilt, the lack of DisplayPort (freesync is over HDMI), and it would have been nice if the monitor could be a bit brighter (true for most monitors in the price range).This monitor looks and plays really well and given the price, it beats monitors priced above it like some of Asus’s gaming offerings. I think for the price, this monitor is hard to beat.

Great secondary monitor
Monitor brightness, picture quality and build are great for price. Wouldn’t recommend for gaming, but it is a great deal for a secondary monitor to watch streams or use the internet while gaming.Only complaint is the included monitor stand. Hardly and adjustment and is at a strange angle. I took it off and use a monitor arm instead, which works much better.Also, there is a piece of metal sticking out on the back of the monitor that the stand connects to which to my knowledge can’t be removed. If you plan to mount your monitor to the wall, it probably won’t work.

Failed within two weeks.
Bought this for Black Friday. The screen partially went dark after it had been working fine for two weeks. Instead of replacing it I can only get a refund, so I now have to pay full price for a new one. Bad way to do business LG. I’m gonna go buy a monitor from a different company now. I’m also the kind of person to remember this next time I buy a tv or appliance.

Great monitor
This monitor was worth every penny. The only thing that I did not like about the monitor is that the stand is not adjustable. However it sits perfectly on my desk so I do not need to adjust it. I do love the fact that you can tilt the screen. I am strongly considering to buy another one.

Great Value & Clarity!
Easy to assemble – you will need a screwdriver for a couple of screws. A charging cord is included. You will need to purchase other cords to connect a dock or your laptop. For this, I purchased one more cord to connect directly to the laptop.It is NOT flexible, hence the riser. Great value, clear picture. I highly recommend if you need a quick WFH setup.

Great for multi monitor setup
It’s pretty good. Honestly a great cheap monitor. The only thing I don’t like is the stand, it looks kind of weird.I use this monitor(I have 2) for a dual monitor setup. Great monitor if you want to buy a bunch of them to use for productivity/multi monitor graphs/real time stock stuff/huge ass reporting/analytics/pretty pictures station. Great work from home monitor
Great price for a really nice monitor. I did a lot of research to figure out which was the best work from home monitor and saw this one on a list somewhere in google. I am really happy with it!! Love that there’s a split screen function and also great that I can adjust the lighting on the screen. The “reader” section makes it a lot easier on my eyes since I stare at a screen all day, it reminds me of the night shift on iPhone. The colors are amazing and the resolution is very crisp.Very happy with this as my work monitor!

Beautiful picture, flimsy design
The picture is very crisp, and I like that. What I do not like at all:Proprietary power cord, why LG?Zero ability to adjust the viewing angle; and the monitor is tilted slightly downward.The stand is VERY flimsy, the monitor “wobbles” some whenever anyone walks by, etc.Dinky little (and hidden) “button” to adjust settings, control power, etc.I plan to return this and buy something else. I’m disappointed – as LG products that I’ve purchased in the past have been well made.

Excellent picture, great value!
Picked this up as a second monitor to complement my LED Apple Cinema display. The design is sleek, light and compact and the screen image looks very good with deep colors and has minimal glare even from sharper viewing angles. Two HDMI ports are a huge plus. I have an Amazon Firestick plugged into one of them and motion pictures look very passable for a computer monitor, as well. Would not recommend for gamers who are serious about refresh rates and the like, but for everyone else this is a pretty deluxe monitor for the price!

Not such a great purchase
The picture is okay. The sound is way too low even at high volumes. The remote is so complicated and so difficult to use. LG TVs are just not a good buy. LG wants you to create an account before you can do anything. The menu and the setup or extremely complex. The TV is always wanting to update everything. I purchased this TV because I was in a hurry. Won’t do that again lesson learned. I purchased two other Samsung televisions at the same time I purchased this TV. It is like night and day with the two different types of TVs. Samsung definitely has it down when it comes to making a great product where LG needs to take a lesson from them.

Good monitor
I’m not a gamer, I’m a developer so I don’t care about speed. It’s large, bright and the images are sharp; all requirements for my aging eyes.I needed to replace an existing monitor and this was the same size at a great price (open box). The sound doesn’t appear to work, but I don’t need it, so I’m not going to make any effort to figure out why. It could be the monitor or it could be my setup.It works on all of my platforms: Windows, Mac and Linux, so I’m happy. There are are enough inputs to satisfy my needs.

Do not buy used
I bought this monitor new a month ago for a little under $200. It’s not bad. It’s a good size, it works well, the quality isn’t bad. The sound doesn’t work, and it looks like there’s a screen protector on it (there isn’t) which gives it like a texture, but overall it’s decent for the size and price. I wanted a second one a few days after I received the first and it was $230 all of a sudden. I decided to get a used one in good condition. It came in shattered. I returned it and went on to buy a new one, but the price was now up to $250. I bought a used one in very good condition, which also came in completely shattered. Now the price is $290. In a month the price has gone up $100 for a monitor barely worth the original price, but if I want a different monitor, this weird screen texture will make the setup look bizarre, so I’m gonna suck it up and buy this one at the crazy price. Do not get these used, no matter the condition, and honestly don’t pay more than $200.

The monitor so nice, I bought it twice,
I bought the first of these to prepare for a week-long Kaizen workshop held over Skype. Due to the quarantine, I was working from home. I choose it on the recommendation of a friend, and I relegated my old second monitor to a tertiary role. We were also using Miro to collaborate, so I needed something that was bigger and capable of displaying text and graphics clearly even when zoomed out. I was so pleased with the clarity of the monitor I ordered a second one to replace my old monitor. This 27” LG monitor is the perfect size for my use, and has greatly reduced strain on my eyes. I went from extreme nearsightedness to slightly far sighted when my cataracts were replaced. I had accepted eye strain as a given, but this beautiful monitor showed me I could have a more pleasurable experience, even during long online meetings

Great monitor! I bought so I can duell screen my MacBook Pro for work. You can’t go wrong for the price and picture quality. I even throw on some basketball games on here when I want to multitask lol.
