Measure Twice! Great TV paired with Sanus Tilt Mount for 110″
The TV is great.I paired it with the Sanus tilt mount, but dont make the same mistake I did and assume the mounting screws are centered vertically on the TV. I think they are offset by 3 inches, which by the grace of god still allowed me to mount this monster with millimeters of clearance.Also for the Sanus mount I ended up having to use the 25mm M8 screws with a 5mm stand off as well as the included washer. So dont assume the 16mm M8 screws in the Sanus kit will fit, they were too short for me.Samsung is a solid brand with app features to boot. If you dont care about built in app support, I suppose you could go even cheaper with the TCL 98″ but for the extra grand it was worth it to me to get Samsung. I was between this and the Sony 100″ which gets you 2 inches extra diagonal and Dolby Vision but it was also 3k more. Wasnt worth it to me.If i were to splurge I’d go for the QN 90A 98″ by Samsung. Unlimited cash I’d go with the 110″ LG OLED.The box is enormous. I had to unpack and get a friend to safely get it into the basement after removing the hand rails. So be mindful of delivery because if you’re moving this to anywhere beyond a direct entryway, you may find yourself stuck.The picture is what you would expect from an LED. There’s a considerable difference with blooming/bleed in high contrast scenes, but I’m comparing to LG OLED, which is insanely better but also much more costly. Also the OLED suffers from screen burn. I have a roughly 7 year old LG 65″ OLED that’s been performing wonderfully to this day but now is showing signs of wear on images with a noticable split down the middle on darker images.Over all Im happy with my purchase. If you have the extra cash go with the QN, otherwise this is a solis contender.

Dark age network card has a maximum speed of 100 Mbps …
This SAMSUNG 65-Inch Class QLED 4K Q80C Series Quantum HDR+ network card has a maximum speed of 100Mbps and it is not easy to find this knowledge in the specs. I have 1000Mbps (1 GiG) service and this TV’s speed test hits about 70Mbps. Hard to get the best video and gaming experience when the TV cannot even handle 1/10th of my capable internet connected to the Ethernet (hardline). The Fix: All Apple TV’s network card are 1 GiG so it looks like this TV will merely become a monitor when I pick up the 3rd gen Apple TV 4K…Roku’s are 100 Mbps max and Roku’s are not a fix.

Cartoonish color
I’ve had the TV for a week and have been trying to make it watchable for a week. Out of the box the color is SO intense that everything looked like a cartoon. The black is so deep there’s no detail to dark colored objects. The Red/Green ratio is so off that faces all have deep red/orange sunburns. There’s no manual included so I’ve had to hunt for solutions in the various menus and on line. I finally got it almost watchable by turning the color intensity as far down as it will go, turning the brightness way down and adjusting the R/G adjustment all but two notches to full Green. Now people look like people but still not like “normal” people. I’m hoping a future software update will get the color engine off of whatever drugs it’s on. The remote control is tiny and cumbersome. Not a happy camper. This is my first and possibly last Samsung TV. I bought Samsung on a recommendation from a TV tech after having bad luck with Sony TVs. I may have to rethink that recommendation.

Picture is not sharp
We brought this TV to replace a Samsung KS8500 55 inch curved Screen unit. So far we are very disappointed in the quality of the picture. The image is bright but not nearly as sharp as the image on our old unit. This unit is promoted as the top of the line in QLED technology, but after one day, I find myself wishing for the old unit which we brought in 2016.Set up and integration with existing equipment up was easy as advertised, thought I did not see the feature that checks the audio and video quality of the room. And I have yet to determine how to use the Samsung remote to control the volume on my Bose soundbar. But the sharpness of the picture is my biggest disappointment for sure.

Crisp, clear, lifelike!!!
The stand instructions said unbox with 2 people and install stand with 2 people and for good reason. I’m a tall strong female and I did it alone but not without much difficulty. The weight of it makes bolting the also heavy stand a real struggle, especially unboxing.Eventually after sweat and cussing I did it! WOW the color clarity and sharpness of the screen is like nothing I have seen in my Gen x life, amazing that the games feels like I’m right there in person. 4k nature shows are mind blowing too! Glad I got the 55” screen which enhances the feel of reality. The remote solar panel/charging option was a surprise, also the option to use your smartphone as a remote was cool too. Samsung really created a next level tv

Arrived with no damage and working!
3rd time is the charm- 2 previous orders arrived damaged, but this time tv arrived early and it works fine out of the box. Strongly suggest those who order this large of a tv to have the delivery truck wait while you open the box and confirm everything works. Re-boxing and returning is a real pain, so use the delivery person to help if needed. I will try to remember to update once the tv is installed with sound system.

Don’t throw out your old tv
Giving three stars for picture, but I cannot get any of the hdmi ports to work with my Xbox or Apple TV. The tv does detect the device when you plug it in but when you change the source input to one of the devices is does not detect any signal. Very disappointed. This is the stupidest smart tv I have ever owned

Screen cracked.
Box had slight damage, but inside styrofoam looked fine. Upon setting up and turning on, screen cracked (can’t see when tv not on). Disappointing. I’ve started a return. Technically it could be 5 weeks before I get a refund the return policy states. Thus I see now why many folks tried to steer me away from buying high end (fragile) electronics online.

I week after warranty was up dead dead. so out comes samsung to fix it oh its dead. now I get to wait for a new…I don’t even know what because I certainly don’t want this tv! just say no.well, the people came to try to fix it, it’s not fixable. so now I get to wait about a month for my new same TV, which I probably will sell for what i paid on prime day. again, unless you want to be tv-less buy this tv.

Way too much money
I spent all this money, and all this effort hanging the tv on the wall just for the edges of the screen to come out rippled. We were extra cautious when unboxing and hanging, so I have no idea why this happened. Super disappointed.

Soap opera effect
I’ve tried everything and I can’t get rid of the soap opera effect on Netflix and anything in 4k ..it goes if you use filmmaker mode but the picture is too dark and the color palette is off.it’s driving me mad and I’m sending it back if Samsung don’t fix it pronto.

Damaged out of box
The media could not be loaded.
Like many others I, unfortunately, received a defective item. You can briefly see in the video I attached that there are purple lines waving across the top with dots. Stays that way all the time. Really sucks because the tv is super nice. Wish this wasn’t the case. Have to give a bad review because it’s honestly wild to me that people are so careless with these items. Box was also damaged. It’s a tv guys, would you carelessly handle it if it were coming to your house/out of your pockets???

TV Arrived Damaged Before (or During) Shipment!
When TV first arrived I was able to get an Image. But when I turned it on an hour later, it showed a dark puzzle like image in upper left corner of screen along with lines across lower half of screen. I called a Samsung Tech Support who asked me to text photos of what I was seeing, and he quickly told me there had been watermark damage to the tv.

Wont Turn on without help
The TV is nice, but don’t turn it off. I turn it off when I go up to bed, every morning it wont turn on. It will eventually turn. Found these steps to try- Unplug for 30 seconds (if this doesnt work then…)- Unplug and hold the reset button for a minute under the Samsung insignia on bottom of tvThis probably wont work on first try but keep repeating the steps and youll probably get lucky after 3 or 4 tries.A real headache!!!

Good deal
At $5000 it’s a deal. $4500 if you have edu email and order at Samsung website.Don’t waste money and be fooled by the more expensive version, 8K or brighter version, your eyes won’t be comfortable. I set this one brightness at 20%, that’s what I feel comfortable. 4K is plenty at 98inch. I will consider 8K in a few years if I go 150 inch TV.

Thi is samsung, if you ever a samsung TV there is nothing better. My last TV was a samsung screen got broke I almost cried, so I look at other brand, but everything pointed back to Samsung. Setup was seemless, picture and added channels through Samsung hub I don’t need cable just an antenna. I BE GOOD!!

Picture quality no so great, but loaded with features
I was replacing a 12 year old 65″ LG Plasma TV which had THX certified Cinema Mode. I expected this TV to have better picture quality since technology has improved since, but was disappointed. The default colors were quite light and I had to play around with the color/picture controls manually to make them better. Brightness was also too high by default.Unless you sign up for a Samsung account, calibration capabilities with a mobile phone are not available. So finally I signed up for a Samsung account and then tried to calibrate with an S23 mobile phone. The result was a better picture, but not as good as the older plasma one.Of course there are quite a number of other features that comes with the TV, like apps, webcam addition, using your mobile phone camera, fireTV remote emulation, 4K streaming, embedded manuals and such… These are appreciated, but the primary use case is picture quality, where it did not quite meet the THX Cinema quality of the earlier plasma model.

First, I highly recommend you plug in this tv and turn it on before installing the stand and moving it to where you want it to live. The first tv we received had an extremely damaged screen. We plugged it in, it came on, and the screen looked shattered once turned on. We couldn’t see anything. You couldn’t see this until the tv was turned on as the actual physical screen looked perfect. Something was wrong inside. We had to repackage the huge tv and take it to the UPS store to return it. Had a replacement sent. We plugged this one in first and thankfully it came on perfectly. This is the largest tv we have ever owned, and it’s amazing how we can see details we never could before on our smaller tv. While it’s not the largest tv, it’s quite large for us. Plenty large. Makes things easier to see for my nearsighted eyes. Very pleased so far. Easy to add all of our streaming apps. It keeps asking us to connect to our wifi, and our old tv never did that, so hopefully that won’t be an ongoing issue. Overall, this is a super nice tv!

Blank screen
Pulled it out of the box using 3 people to ensure safety of the T.V. Plugged it in before doing anything else and the power indicator turns red so the TV has power, but no picture would display on the screen and it would stay black/blank. I tried everything in the book, unplugging appliances, plugging it in a new outlet, tested the original outlet where the TV would go, used an extension cord, tried all the troubleshooting steps, checking the circuit breakers, you name it. Super frustrating waiting a week and planning a time to be home to sign for the TV just for it to not work 1 hour of it arriving to my home. Sat on the phone with amazon for 47 minutes to be put on hold for 40 of those minutes and then get hung up on. I call a second time and again, I get put on hold for 32 minutes and then finally get routed to a person that was able to help me. The replacement will take another week to get here so I’ll update this review if the next TV works.

Incredible Television
Wow! This is an incredible television. Amazon Delivery made this day even more special with an above and beyond delivery. Downside, it took 4 resets to get all features to work properly.. First reset, could not get close caption to reset, second reset, no sound, third reset, YouTube tv not working, forth and final reset, could not get Peacocktv to download.Learning curve, MAYBE!What would have made it program easier would have been a step.by.step guide.When all programmed and done, just perfect.Suggest turning intelligent mode off to select desired picture display. Dynamic setting worked best for us. Display had to auto adjust to room lighting.Overall, a magical day!

Menu options say not available but don’t tell you why…
TV is great so far but I find some of the features a bit overwhelming to set. It reports some features are not currently available but doesn’t say why. I read the use manual for example on how to adjust the video screen setting for screen size but the screen size change option is still grayed out. I even tried some tricks found on YouTube and it didn’t work. Spending to much time trying to get the screen to full-size gives this product a 4. This day and age I should not be dealing with this menu option this long and hard.

I love the screen, I hate the tuner.
First off kudos on amazon delivery. heavy TV for a single old man to lift , but it surprising fit my old stand that was rated for 60 inches np. Now I can see a slight difference in hd to 4k, mainly in 4k they whole screen is used and not got a black band top and bottom. I looked at the higher levels of this TV and frankly I cannot see any difference, so I went with price. Sure its not a 500 dollar tv, but I am happy with everything but 1.I dont have cable so I use a fire stick. it works well. THE OTV air tv works well except for one thing. it says it remembers the channels but every time I change channel up it goes to Samsung channels that are built in and NOT the local channels, I have to manually enter number each time, its a royal PITA.

Great for gaming, but not streaming games via the built-in apps
I love playing video games and this TV is great for them. With my Xbox Series X I can play in 4K HDR at 120hz. Fortnite and Halo have never looked or played better.But for all the greatness that this TV can do via HDMI, what’s possible via the built-in Xbox Cloud Streaming app was simply atrocious. While I know it’s unfair to compare game streaming to a local console, it would be hard to say my experience was playable. Instead of 4K at 120fps, I was reduced to ~1080p at ~30fps. That’s not great, but that’s not what made it unplayable. After going through the long, painful process of pairing my controller to the TV and setting up my accounts, once I actually got into a game the input lag between me pressing a button and seeing the effect on the TV was about a full second. Maybe there’s some simple, slow games out there where this isn’t an issue but those are not the games I enjoy.I’m not really the intended market for Xbox Game Streaming since I have my own Xbox, but for anyone out there who thinks this might be “good enough” or an alternative TV for a room without an Xbox… it’s not the same.Otherwise, the TV looks great. The Samsung software has a number of features that irk me. The one that kills me is that I can’t turn off the volume changing indicator. My E-ARC soundbar is able to be controlled by the TV but it doesn’t report a number value, so when I change the volume I get an annoying animation on my screen for a few seconds. Samsung Support says this is not a bug, but a feature. It’s dumb and I hate it.I also don’t love the remote. There’s no input switching button. Switching between my Apple TV and my Xbox requires I use the remote despite them both switching automatically on my old TV. Not sure what kind of witchery Samsung is doing to ruin that but I hate it.And, weirdly, if I want to change the Input to my Xbox, I have to navigate to this special Gaming page, not the main page where my other inputs live. On that page my actual Xbox is listed AFTER the unremovable Xbox Game Streaming app. It’s dumb. For as much as this TV costs they’re not content to stop advertising at every corner.Overall, it’s a 4 out of 5 for me. This TV is too smart for its own good and far less controllable and customizable to other brands I’ve owned. It’s pretty but my next TV won’t be a Samsung.

Great set. Bluetooth remote compatability? Hardware details?s?
Our set works great and we are pleased. To mount on the wall to our existing bracket it takes an 8mmx1.25x 25mm long that we had to go purchase. Length is very critical as to be long enough but not too long and damage the set. Your wall bracket may require slightly different length but it should be close. Until we bought the screws we used the suitably heavy supplied base. The screws for the base were hard to find as they are tucked inside the base cap cover that snaps off. New in 2022? The Bluetooth remote works fine but we prefer the one control does all and our other units like sound system and Blueray player, Roku etc are all “ir”. I hope others have a solution to share for this. There is apparently some “ir” there to initiate pairing the bluetooth?The internal sound is surprisingly good.

Best TV Ever!
I’ve had this tv for a few years now. It’s by far the best looking tv I have ever owned. Tye colors and sharpness are so vibrant and clear that my family thought it was 3d when they first saw it, lol. Blacks are so black that it looks like the tv isn’t even on in those areas.I’d highly recommend this to anyone. It plays ps5 & xbox perfectly. Hdr needs calibration, once you adjust the game to your tv, the colors are mind-blowing. (every tv brand/ model is different. You’ll always need to calibrate). The tv has tons of apps and could replace your roku as an all-in-one. I’m also using this for 4k pc gaming.

Been a fan of Samsung TV’s for ever. In my opinion the best displays. Got this back on release date, March 2023.This model is descend. It has great sound and picture quality is what you expect from QLED technology.I’m looking forward getting an 86”+ tv and is going to be Samsung as well.Is now November and the tv still performing as new.Not burn pixels or nothing like that.I have nothing bad to say about this TV. I love it

Works with Alexa , speakers produce good sound thats above average , has the ability to download the latest apps for viewing pleasures. Light weight and pretty thin but sturdy and well built. Can be linked with Samsung app smart things. Have this mounted on the wall in outside patio area and it has added the extra entertainment and enchanted the mood for watching movies with he family during quality time.

Awesome tv
I am so pleased with this tv it’s ridiculous. The picture quality is gorgeous as expected from Samsung with nice deep blacks that would make an OLED fan have to take a breath and rethink some things. OLEDs tend to have deeper blacks than QLEDs because QLEDS actively present a black whereas OLEDS drop those pixels completely and the difference is usually noticeable. This TV with it’s HDR has some super satiny dark gel black hues that are impressive by themselves, but also better contrast the super bright and complex colors that QLED usually beats OLED at anyway.The tv itself has a nice thin bezel as expected and while slim overall she’s not phone thin as the trend seems to be. While I appreciate the super thin ones appearance wise it can be nerve wracking handling them when they get to a certain size because they can get a little bendy. This was solid enough that I was able to wall mount it myself without feeling like anything was flexing.I have this hooked to a receiver through an optical cable (unfortunately my receiver has hdmi port issues so I was not able to take advantage of the earc connection which I would prefer). I did take a minute to give the tv’s speakers some time first though just to check it out and I have to say it was pretty impressive. I watched some videos with directional sound and played some music videos and I was surprised how round and complete the sound was. Obviously with no sub the small onboard speakers aren’t going to give you that movie theater rumble but it was well rounded and presented well in the mix. As far as directional it nails it in spiraling rich sound that can spiral in a way I didn’t know was possible without rear speakers. Obviously having side and rear speakers is going to be better as the sound is actually going around you rather than simulated from one point but it’s pretty crazy tv speakers sound like this now. It’s like having a pretty good soundbar without a sub which is saying something.I have both a mini pc and my PS3 (yup old school in the man cave) running into an 8k splitter and then into HDMI 2 on the tv and setup and access was intuitive and straightforward even for me who is not used to a smart tv. Without instructions involved I quickly navigated to find the input and select it, despite having a very different home screen and setup than I am used to. It was also pretty easy to set up the optical audio out as well. Honestly the hardest thing for me to figure out was how to add apps I downloaded to my home page menu and even that wasn’t actually hard, just took some trial and error. I have seen the Samsung free channels/content before on another tv but am still impressed with how much content is available, and stuff worth watching too not just old tv and movies no one would watch.I’m over the moon with this tv. The picture, sound, setup, ease of navigation, dark blacks and vibrant sharp color, even the remote is really cool. I fanboy for no one but I usually end up sounding like I do when it comes to Samsung. If they ever stop delivering I’ll be just as vocal about that but so far I’ve got nothing but praise. This TV is amazing.

Huge Upgrade
I got this tv to replace a much older 32” Television in my bedroom that started to just seem too small. When I got this tv I was shocked at how much bigger it really is, which is a great thing! It was extremely easy to install on my existing wall tv mount. The TV had all the necessary screw holes to attach it to the wall.Setting it up to my wifi was also very easy and simple. Didn’t take much time at all and the tv updated itself very quickly.Now the picture quality. Exquisite. I couldn’t of asked for a better looking picture. It’s so beautiful and vibrant, it just lights up my whole room. The TV has a very clear picture and has a refresh rate that isn’t noticeable at all.I haven’t tried plugging in my gaming consoles to this yet, I’m sure they will look great, but I’m also sure there will probably be some input lag that I’ll have to adjust the settings for. As one typically has to do with TV’s nowadays.

ABSOLUTELY HATE THE INPUT CHANGES
Samsung’s new platform makes it so difficult to change inputs. The only way to change inputs without going into multi-view takes five extra steps than necessary. There is no reason the default button on the remote should be to multi-view where you then have to wait for it to come up, click over to the new input, and scroll to the button that sets it full screen before you can actually use it. The only other way to cleanly change inputs is to go to the home screen, scroll over to the left menu bar, select Menu, select Connected Devices, and then find your input. This is infuriating when we just want to get to a new input and it takes completely unnecessary time to complete the task. Even though the picture is great, had I known this BS forced multi-view feature before we purchased, I 1000% would’ve said abso-freakin-lutely not to this TV. Everything I see online is begging Samsung to fix this. Samsung, why in the world isn’t it changed yet? Why can’t you give us an update that would fix this problem and give us an easier way to change inputs without your stupid multi-view?!?!?!?!?!

Easy set up, nice picture
I’ll get this out of the way first – the picture is not quite as nice as my OLED TV… nothing I can put my finger on, just my impression.That said, this TV has a really nice picture. And the setup was amazingly easy.They packed the instructions right at the top for assembling the base – on the 55″ TV the two base pieces have 4 screws to hold them together, then there are 4 screws to attach the base to the TV (later I will wall mount it). There are even instructions on how to cut the box, and there are some perforations and cut lines. Great attention to detail for both of these things.Again, setup was amazingly easy. I think there were some directions, but I never looked at them.Have all your account information ready when you start – a Samsung account (create one if you don’t have one), WIFI password, and login/passwords if you have a streaming device, for example a firestick. They have options for setting up with your phone or the remote. I chose the remote. But you still need your phone because they put up QR codes to assist with setup, so you need your phone camera to scan them – or, you can manually enter the http addresses. And there are some verification codes you have to type into your phone. It is all very fast. Except for the software update, I think I was done in 10 minutes.I attached an indoor OTA antenna and a firestick, and it detected both. Somewhere in the process, it set up the OTA channels, and it wasn’t the slow count-through-the-channels I have seen in the past, it just somehow magically happened. As soon as I switched to OTA, the channels were there.I don’t have an audio system available to attach to it, so I can’t comment on the sound quality.In my opinion a very nice TV for a good price.

Great picture & sound 👍⭐️
All we have in our home are Samsung TVs. All different sizes and the one thing that irritates me the most is where the place power plug. This is another TV where it is on the OPPOSITE side from where all the other cords go. The power cord is short, which complicates putting it on the wall. Being on the opposite side of all the other cords, complicates putting them all behind the wall. The TV is incredible, but the power cord is ridiculously small and not in a good spot on the back.I have 2 Samsung TV in my room. The other is a 52”. I prefer using it as my computer monitor. A top rated sci-fi movie just became available for purchase, so we got it to watch on the new TV, and it was incredible. The sound was EXCELLENT. The picture was BEAUTIFUL, CLEAR, and VIVID(See pictures). I like how the remote doesn’t require batteries but is solar-powered. It’s about time someone thought of that. The “SmartThings” app is an excellent idea, especially with having to sign in to all the streaming services. The app makes setting up the TV less frustrating.The PRICE for this 55” inch OLED is in the usual range. It’s exactly as advertised.

Amazing!
The Samsung QLED 55 inch television certainly lives up to its name. The picture is sharp and the colors are brilliant. I don’t think you can find a more extraordinary television. The set up is simple and very easy to do. It is not over weight so it’s easy to handle. It goes above and beyond my wildest expectations.

Crystal clear picture!!
Easy set up, the picture is fantastic!!!Attaching the base took a little to figure out. I prefer instructions w/words not pics!!Otherwise, seamless setup connected to my over-the-air antenna & wifi easily. Added all my streaming Apps in a matter of minutes.Big, clear picture with a setting that auto adjusts for the room lighting. Gorgeous hi-def display is unbeatable.The sound is also amazing. I did not realize how much audio I was missing out on until I heard the speakers on this TV.Really great TV for the priceDefinitely recommend!!12/10

Fantastic!
I replaced a 15 year old TV with this one. The difference in picture quality is tremendous. Set-up was super easy. I wall-mounted it using the same mount from the old set. I still like the app selection better from a Roku (this doesn’t have the NCAA March Madness app, for example) so will still use my Roku with this TV.I also use an antenna for local channels. I love the channel guide that shows my channels and what is playing on each channel.One other thing that I love is that you can do a split screen and have two inputs show at the same time. So I could use my Roku to watch one game on March Madness and another screen to watch another game on my antenna! You can do picture-in-picture or side-by-side and chose the size of the main screen.

LOVE IT
We ordered this tv to replace a 49″ one we had hanging in our living room. The tv is very well packaged and was easy to remove. It comes with a stand, however we wanted to reuse our old mount. The mount fit, however the screws didnt so we had to buy a pack of different size and lengths of M8 screws and find a size that fit. The cord for the TV is really nice and small so it is easy to fit on our power strip. The remote is so cool! It is solar powered and really high tech. We’re still figuring this tv out even though it is very user friendly, there is just so much do do on it! Quality is out of this world amazing, like you will see pimples and gross skin daily good lol.
