I can’t get it to mirror my iphone
Connected perfectly to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Can’t get it to connect to the screen mirroring. I will give is a better rating is someone can help. And yes. It’s connected to the same network and we’re we supposed to get a free screen?

Screen mirroring
It only works with YouTube EXCEPT for the movies I purchased on YT. It doesn’t work with amazon movies, Netflix, or crunchy roll. I will be using it for art projects instead. It’s a good projector.

Not the greatest. If you can afford better definitely get something else.
Only allows screen mirroring for IPhones not Bluetooth. When screen mirroring you can’t watch Netflix, Disney, HBO Max, Hulu, Peacock, and prime. YouTube however does work but not their movies :/ audio quality is alright not the greatest either. Remote doesn’t work too well and it keeps glitching, I had to use the buttons on the projector which took forever. So I don’t recommend it. If you can afford better jus get a better quality. It also heats up extremely quick.

Sadly can’t use Netflix, hulu nor Disney plus. It’s not powerful enough to display those things but YouTube does great.sound is great… picture is great. Might try to hook it up to the Playstation and try later.

Works great…
It works great but I couldn’t find the WIFI option. It kind of blurs at the bottom but once the movie starts it’s unnoticeable. Other than that It’s very compact and you can easily travel with it. I also like that I can connect my Bluetooth speaker to it so I can get more surround sound. It also came with cables that you can use to connect your laptop. The customer service team is very helpful and they give great technical support.

Would buy one of these again if necessary. Am currently looking for a replacement remote because I dropped the previous one. UpdateA few days later the remote started working again with the same batteries. Great little setup

I feel like a kid with a new toy!

I have just been using this mini projector for a couple of hours now and its been fun! is small and powerful. I can connect it to my wifi and cast from my laptop, and i can cast from my phone directly using smartview on Android, it also can cast from an iPhone, its 1080p, it looks good, I have it like 12 ft away from wall to wall and it looks clear and colorful, of course it has to be used in the dark, with the lights on is barely visible. I like that it has a section on the menu with instructions on how to connect your devices, the tripod is a good quality one and the remote control can let you browse the menu and turn up and down the volume. it has to be connected to 2.4 ghz wifi signal. the sound is perfect for a room but it also can be connected to a Bluetooth speaker for external sound! for the price is perfect! it has all the basic features to have a nice experience you can adjust the lens, tilt it up and down and resize the image from 75% to a hundred. im using it on 75% and the display is like 120 inches! keep it close to whatever you’re using to display it and it will look good! check my pics and videos!

Nice little projector!

It’s a nice projector. Little, inexpensive, but pretty powerful! One photo shows what it looks like when the lights are on, it’s not super bright, but you can still see it. Lights off, it’s very bright. Picture quality is pretty good for a $45 projector. Mine came with a tripod, which was very helpful for setting it up. It has multiple options for orientation/mirroring in case you mount this the ceiling or if you project through a mirror. Sound is pretty good, but if you’re picky about sound quality, I’d just go ahead and buy a wired speaker. The built in speakers arent super powerful.One small issue: if you have a newer Mac book or Windows device that only takes USB-C, you might have some issues. My newer Mac that needed an adapter for the HDMI cable didn’t connect, but my older Mac that can directly take an HDMI cord worked! As did my Xbox. However, my Switch did not work. Again, I’m guessing it’s because it doesnt directly take an HDMI cable, only through it’s port. Just be mindful when purchasing.

Worth the price!
Good quality projector that me and my friends made use of, from playing games on the switch, to streaming vids from youtube, its a blast. Unfortunately during a move, I lost the power cable, but the company has been kind enough to issue me a replacement piece, so as far as I’m concerned 5/5

Cute, versatile, compact and clear.
I use this Akiyo mini to project my digital inks onto paper so i can ink over it traditionally. Saves me hours of work. I’ve ordered projectors in the past to do this and none of them were as good as this little dude!!It’s small & lightweight, (see picture for scale reference, I didnt have a banana handy, comes well packaged and cared for, the display is clear, the projected image is clear and bright, the interface is pleasant and straightforward. Focusing is easy and I have it mounted to an arm on my desk to face straight down. i also feel pretty safe with the 2 year warranty, thats more than most companies give for way more expensive items.Since I use it for inking, I have not watched anything on it but i did have something accidentally play while screensharing and found that the speakers are quite loud even at the default set to 50% percent.I am pleased with all the connection possibilities, but HDMI is the easiest. I had to get an HDMI to Usb-c adapter because my of my laptop limitations. The remote is nice too, because it sucks trying to control buttons with a device thats upside down.Only negative I have is that the fan is quite loud but i dont notice it after a while.I’ll update this review should something unfortunate come to light (no pun intended).

Piece of junk
I’ve set up hundreds of devices of all kinds, but this one is the craziest I’ve ever seen. First off, the “User Manual” is terribly written and woefully incomplete… you kind of expect that, but this one takes the cake for useless. You have to figure out most moves yourself, which I can do, but the navigation is so user-unfriendly that you want to throw the projector against the wall because it is so cumbersome. When you do finally get to the point where you want to project… whether Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or USB, it just fails again. You get connected to Wi-Fi, but then it drops. You get your phone mirrored, but no image shows up on the projector. I have messed with this for an hour, including watching several videos, but you just get stuck in endless loops. This reminds me of the “state of the art” devices 20 years ago, when the field was in its infancy. There is absolutely NO rationale for such cumbersome, user-unfriendly devices in 2023. One thing I CAN say positive is that the image of the menus is pretty sharp, better than I expected for the price. So if you want to look at menus all day, then by all means buy this projector. For movies or photos, not so much.

Ok for the money
I bought this projector for my toddler’s bedroom. The projection is a great size and easy to use. Only thing is during the day you can see very well. Realizing now I should have purchased an outdoor projector because her room gets lots of sunlight. Also there are days where the Bluetooth doesn’t connect but rarely. I’ve had this purchase since June, it’s now September.

Movie time
I did a test run to make sure it works and the video quality is great for what we need it for. The sound is good but if you want more of a movie feel I recommend activating blue tooth mode for a sound bar or what I used is our karaoke machine. The only thing is the sound on karaoke machine seems to be off from the video so I’m trying to figure out if I can fix it. I’m excited for movie night on my garage door with family hot chocolate coffee and popcorn.

Good for Artists
Good for artists wanting to project onto canvases. Fairly easy to set up, but without a remote you have to use the buttons on the projector. This makes typing in wifi passwords tedious. Good image quality and color.

No zoom feature
Love this mini projector for outdoor use. It’s easy to carry and set up. My only issue is that there is no zoom feature. You have to manually move the projector close up or further back to the desired screen size. Have my Firestick hooked up to it to watch movies outside. Works perfectly.

I am in love! Don’t need to buy a TV for my room!

This has exceeded my expectations! Took a little time to connect it to my Google Nest Home Speaker….but I was able to connect my fire stick and to my wifi pretty easily! I legit don’t need to buy a TV for my room anymore. Clear picture and creates such a vibe in my room! For $45 this is a steal!!!

Edit: I happened to check my email andd seen the seller reached out to me about my troubles with the projector to help offer a solution. I was really surprised and also greatful. As I mentioned I’m sure it is a great little device and I just happened to get a defective one. I’m definitely more impressed with the customer service. Was offered a solution that goes above and beyond the typical run around we usually get as customers. And of course there was a 30 return policy and wouldn’t you know it, the sound stopped working completely and the picture flashes on and off randomly. I will say that it was a solid 4 stars for 34 days. I bought this for my grandson to use in his fort I built him. (Indoor fort) very disappointing. I definitely don’t recommend.

Surprisingly awesome
This projector is actually really great, and very cheap for the quality as well!Only thing is that the tripod that was included actually broke on the very first day, so it’s really hard to angle the projector just right, and I have to stack it on top of appr. 40 DVDs to get the image high enough on my wall. It’s also just a little loud, and the sound isn’t amazing, but I just use my own speaker, which is super easy, too! Other than that, no complaints.

This was a great purchase! I originally bought this to trace and create a float, later to find out my Firestick works perfectly with this! Wonderful ability to project on a wall or the ceiling. Just to note, you cannot stream from any service by screen sharing. You must have a streaming device plugged into the actual projector.

Not for Apple devices
I don’t recommend this projector for Apple devices.. it won’t recognize my iPhone or MacBook Bluetooth, neither of my devices can’t do the mirroring..I also tried to connect my laptop to it by HDMI cable, still no connection!UPDATE: What you have seen above is my previous comment/review, however, they contacted me through their service team and they are tying to help me resolve the issue. They are very supportive and responsive!

Great for transferring digital art onto paper!
Great little projector that doesn’t take up too much space, screws onto a mount easily and the picture is clear even during the day. It’s exactly what I was looking for!The original AC adapter it came with buzzed and got really hot after just 10 minutes, I talked with customer service and they went above and beyond! (Thanks Sherry!!) I replaced it with a spare I had and that solved the issue. Very happy with my purchase!

Update: Customer service contacted me about the remote problem and promptly got a new projector sent out. They were so very helpful and I’m so happy to have a projector with a working remote now! I was able to test it out and everything works great.Previous review: I haven’t gotten to use this yet, as soon as I tried to set this up the remote started acting out so set up has been tricky. I feel like I will be able to give a more accurate review once I can get the remote problem sorted out. I’m hoping I won’t have to go through the whole process of returning it all and waiting for another, I’d like to just get a replacement remote. Then I will give an updated report on what I think of this projector.

It’s a good product until…

This is a good projector and easy to setup I didn’t expect that it’ll be this good until when the picture started to get blurry even though I adjusted the focus and the distance multiple times. I also thought it was just because the lens was dirty but when I cleaned it, it’s still the same. It’s hard to read the subtitles and it was hurting my eyes trying to adjust to the clarity of the picture. I hope they will do something about it.UPDATE:The seller reached out to me and offer different option to satisfy my purchase.

This product is very nice and easy to use. For less than a minute you can connect it with your phone or computer wireless or with a cabel. It has its own sound system with very good quality. The projector was not compatible with any streaming services like Netflix Disney+, Hulu etc. However since the review I made the customer service has been extremely consistent and helpful. I was provided assistance and am now very satisfied with the resolution. I hope to one day return as a customer when a bit more trust is established. The projector description is now updated MAKE SURE TO READ BEFORE YOU BUY!!
